Episode 1 - Fire, Ep. 1Effy (Kaya Scodelario) is the central character of Fire. Working as an assistant at a hedge fund in The City, Effy, with a seemingly unwavering energy and drive, works hard to flourish professionally. As she become increasingly addicted to status and to being taken seriously, the risks she takes to get ahead appear more and more extreme. With the illness of her friend as part motivator, part distraction, Effy finds herself playing with fire.

Episode 2 - Fire, Ep. 2Effy (Kaya Scodelario) has a dead end job as a receptionist for a leading London Hedge Fund. But as she stumbles across crucial financial information relating to a troubled deal and embarks on an affair with her wealthy boss, she finds out that she has bitten off more than she can chew. Her flatmate Naomi (Lily Loveless) tries to stop Effy from ruining her life, but Effy cannot be reached; until tragedy strikes.
