Episode 1 - Strangers in a Strange Land

After a brutal 48 hour journey the Australians finally arrive in the Quebec hills tired and jet-lagged. As they settle in to their magnificent mountain chalet coach Kyle Noke warns them the Canadians are confidently predicting a series sweep. Tempers soon flare when the Aussies hear the Canadians gossiping that they're 'scared' to fight them. The Aussies reply - Meet us in the Octagon and you'll see just how scared we are.

  

Episode 1 - Bring It

UFC President Dana White greets 32 eager welterweights at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Opposing coaches Roy 'Big Country' Nelson and Shane Carwin watch with Dana as 16 fighters prevail in a full day of Elimination fights, then team picks.

  

Episode 1 - A New World Champion

After an open-call tryout is held at Palace Station in Las Vegas, 16 of the best female flyweights from around the world are chosen to compete for the first-ever UFC women's flyweight belt. Upon arrival at the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas, the fighters are greeted by their coaches for the season, former UFC world champion Eddie Alvarez and UFC rising star Justin Gaethje. UFC President Dana White welcome the fighters, introduces the coaches, and explains that this season the winner of the tournament will become the first ever UFC women's flyweight world champion. As the coaches pick their teams the fighters' seeds are revealed, and the fight matchups are revealed. Then, the first preliminary fight is announced. After the fighters move into the TUF house, team training begins leading up to the first preliminary fight of the season.

  

Episode 1 - The Ultimate Fighter Live

UFC President Dana White and host Jon Anik, and coaches Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber, welcome 32 lightweights to the UFC Training Center for the first-ever Ultimate Fighter Live.

  

Episode 1 - Smashed Up

Legendary UFC rivals and former TUF coaches Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz return to carry on their feud as 28 Middleweights arrive at the new expanded training center and fight their way into the house in a brutal and sometimes bloody elimination tournament.

  

Episode 1 - The Hurting Game

16 up-and-coming middleweights and 16 promising light heavyweights face off in a day of elimination fights, hoping to secure a spot in the competition. UFC President Dana White, along with coaches BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar, watch ringside as the fighters go to battle. Coaches pick their squads and the first fight matchup is announced.

16 British fighters duke it out for the top 8 spots that will earn them a plane trip to the US, to be on the Ultimate Fighter.

UFC president Dana White shocks 32 middleweight fighters when he announces that this season they have to fight their way on to the show. New coaches, Rampage Jackson and Forrest Griffin, evaluate the first half of the elimination fights and 8 fighters earn their spots in the house.

  

Episode 1 - Biggest and Baddest

For the first time ever The Ultimate Fighter competition will feature the biggest male and female weight classes in the UFC. Eight heavyweights and eight female featherweights from around the globe come to Las Vegas to compete on The Ultimate Fighter - Heavy Hitters. After coaches Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum introduce themselves, they run the fighters through drills to evaluate their skill sets. Then UFC President Dana White arrives, greets the group, and the coaches pick their teams and choose the first preliminary matchup. After the fighters move into The Ultimate Fighter house, team training sessions get underway. While Team Gastelum's practice is intense, with the men and women sparring together, the Team Whittaker session takes a lighter approach to training. Back at the house, one of the heavyweights enjoys drinking alcohol before and after training, which raises some eyebrows among the other fighters. Then, in the first preliminary fight of the competition, two fighters lay it all on the line for a spot in the semifinals.

  

Episode 1 - Don't You Tap

UFC Welterweight champion Matt Serra and former champ Matt Hughes face off on the new season of The Ultimate Fighter. They split up 16 Welterweights into teams and the mind games begin. The first preliminary fight takes place.

  

Episode 1 - The Tournament Begins

16 flyweight champions from around the world bring their belts to Las Vegas to compete in a single-elimination MMA tournament. Upon arrival, with their belts in hand, they head to the UFC training center where they meet UFC President Dana White and their coaches for the season, top UFC flyweight contenders Henry Cejudo and Joseph Benavidez.

     

Episode 1 - Rumble in South Florida

For the first time in The Ultimate Fighter history, two teams battle it out in a gym versus gym smack-down in South Florida. The Blackzilians, led by Glenn Robinson, take on American Top Team, led by Dan Lambert, and in the end, only one team will leave the cage victorious.

  

Episode 1 - Europe vs. USA

Sixteen European fighters and sixteen American fighters arrive in Las Vegas to fight for a chance at fulfilling their dreams of entering the UFC. Representing countries such as Russia, Sweden, France, and England, the Europeans face off against each other in the most important bouts of their lives. The fighters from all across America are paired as well, and the winners of all matches will move on to form Team McGregor and Team Faber and compete for a six-figure contract with the UFC and a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Coaching the US team is former WEC champion and owner of Team Alpha Male, Urijah Faber, and coaching the European team is current interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor. Exploding onto the American fight scene after conquering Ireland, Conor won his title in a fight against Urijah's teammate, Chad Mendes, creating a tense rivalry between himself and Urijah. As they watch the elimination fights along side Dana White, the two coaches banter with one another while studying the moves of their future understudies. Once the sixteen contenders have been determined, Dana flips a coin to determine who will pick the first American and European to fight each other in the first preliminary matchup. It's the beginning of a wild ride to see who are the better fighters- Americans or Europeans. The fighters will enter the next step of this mentally and physically challenging experience by moving into a house together while they all train in hopes of becoming the next ultimate fighter.

  

Episode 2 - Embrace the War

16 victorious lightweights move into the house and begin their quest for a six-figure UFC contract. After coaches Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz select their teams, training begins. One fighter receives sad news from home, and must decide whether or not to continue.

  

Episode 2 - I Need You Bro

Following his defeat, Joey threatens to leave the show and Serra goes ballistic. Hughes passes out bibles to his team. And the second preliminary fight takes place.

  

Episode 2 - What We Do

Just a day after moving into the TUF House, vicious smack talk begins between the fighters. Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin begin team training. Then two welterweights face off in the first preliminary fight.

  

Episode 2 - Scars and Stripes

Team UK finishes choosing its fighters, now its Team USA's turn. 16 fighters line up to fight it out represent the US, and go to war with Team UK, to decide who is the Ultimate Fighter.

  

Episode 2 - Language of Combat

As the fighters arrive back to the house after the fight announcement, teammates show solidarity towards the first two losing fighters. Meanwhile, the next two competitors, the #5 seed and the #12 seed, start concentrating on their upcoming matchup. Later that evening, tempers flare after a culture clash between an international fighter and a few Americans. During the next training session, Cejudo focuses on his next fighter. With the help of his coaching staff, Cejudo decides to focus on Jiu-jitsu and takedown defense training, fearing that the fighter is not experienced enough to take on a ground specialist. Nonetheless, the coach seems quite pleased with the fighter's stand up abilities. At the other team's training session, Benavidez seems quite impressed with his upcoming contender, who shows off solid all-around skills. The fighter is cautiously optimistic about the upcoming fight. He believes he needs to be careful on his feet and follow his usual game plan. A few days later, as the teams wait for the weigh-in to start, Cejudo and Benavidez start criticizing each other. Benavidez gets upset after Cejudo claims that he is not a good role model. Tensions start to rise and both coaches seem eager to face each other in the octagon in the finale. The day of the fight finally comes and the two competitors deliver a great battle in the octagon. Then, the next matchup between the #4 seed and #13 seed is announced.

  

Episode 2 - Suck It Up

After surviving the elimination fights 14 middleweights move into the house. Dana confronts Chuck about his controversial team picks, while injuries take a toll on Team Ortiz. Then, two middleweights face off in the first preliminary fight.

  

Episode 2 - Bad Hair Day

As the results of the Kajan - Brenda fight reverberate through the House the Aussies rally around the fighter they call 'Coach'. Zein Saliba is a powerful middleweight with a string of convincing wins behind him. But he's up against one of the best middleweights in Canada, Elias Theodorou, who sports an 8 and 0 record. Elias is not just a fighter but also an actor and part-time hair model. He's someone the Aussies are convinced they can beat because he spends almost as much time in front of the mirror as he does in the Octagon. Aussie coach Kyle Noke promises that once Zein is done with him, Elias' hair - and face - won't look half as good.

        

Episode 2 - Crowded House

Shortly after a coin toss decided which team would get to pick the first preliminary fight, coach Conor McGregor gathers the European fighters and delivers a prepared speech outlining what his team can expect this season. That night, the winning European and American fighters move into the TUF house. After scoping out their new digs and picking their rooms, a celebratory barbecue ensues. Eager to turn their focus to the competition, the fighters waste no time in starting to size up the competition and new friendships are forged.

  

Episode 2 - Battle Lines Drawn

Tensions reach a boiling point and tempers flare when the owner of American Top Team clashes with the Blackzilians' owner at the weigh in. Meanwhile, the pressure of the competition takes a toll as team infighting turns ugly.

  

Episode 2 - Down to Business

The final 8 elimination fights take place to see who will make it into the house. A brutal knockout silences the gym. In the end, 16 fighters are left standing to compete for the UFC contract.

  

Episode 2 - Fight!

With the first preliminary fight in the books, Justin Gaethje and a few assistant coaches stop by the house for a night of fun and games. The girls bond with one another and take the opportunity to relax. Justin attempts to talk strategy with an international fighter but finds it quite hard to communicate with her, even with the help of a translator. Meanwhile, the Team Alvarez girls have their own fun in the backyard. One of the fighters has a very peculiar way of going about her weight cut, which turns out to be highly entertaining to the others. The next day, at practice, the fighters see the tournament bracket for the first time and quickly realize they are likely to face a teammate as early as the quarterfinals. Coach Alvarez is upset and tries to keep the team spirit alive after one of his girls asks him to prep her for a potential fight against a teammate. As the training session gets underway, Alvarez focuses his attention on his next flyweight, who is confident that she can dominate the upcoming fight. Tragedy strikes at the Team Gaethje practice as one of his fighters gets injured while doing drills on the mat. She ends up in the ER and receives an uncertain prognosis. Later that night at the house, the injured fighter receives a visit from former UFC champion Miesha Tate, who encourages her to stay positive. As the fight approaches, Justin prepares his next competitor and seems to be extremely confident in her stand up abilities. The day of the fight comes and the two flyweights put on an entertaining show. The second quarterfinalist claims her spot and the coaches announce the next matchup.

  

Episode 2 - Throw Leather

With the first fight in the competition in the books, Kelvin goes straight back to work, putting his team through an intense conditioning session. One of the heavyweights struggles throughout, raising concerns over his ability to perform in his fight. During Team Whittaker's practice, the coaches turn their attention to their upcoming featherweight. She's familiar with her opponent and plans for a stand up battle. Back at the house, Team Gastelum's upcoming featherweight shows off pictures from back home and talks about how fond she is of her pet. Through home video footage, we meet her family, boyfriend and, most importantly, her adorable dog. As her competitor keeps mostly to herself, we learn more about her and her life back home through her own self-shot footage. At the gym, it's Team Gastelum's turn to prepare their fighter. She's very excited about the matchup and believes her opponent may be underestimating her skills. A couple of days later, as Team Gastelum is about to start another training session, their next featherweight has a mishap, which lands her in the dentist office in need of a painful procedure. The fighters make weight and go to war the next day. The first featherweight semifinalist is revealed and the coaches pick the second heavyweight fight.

  

Episode 2 - Flying the Flag

8 middleweights and 8 light heavyweights move into the fighter house and the tournament kicks off with a matchup between Irishman Cathal Pendred and the Mexican-born Hector Urbina. At weigh-ins, Coaches BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar must pull their heated fighters apart.

  

Episode 3 - War Tanks

Missing his family after a hard day of training, heavyweight Justin Frazier places photos of his wife and kids on the kitchen table and sits down to a nice 'dinner' with them. As the competition moves along, the fighters in the house begin to separate into cliques, with the American fighters hanging out together while the foreign fighters stick together. While there's an obvious language barrier between many of the fighters, Team Gastelum's Maurice and Justin think that some of the Spanish-speaking fighters actually understand more English than they lead on. During a team meeting at the gym, Maurice pokes fun at the Spanish fighters. Juan Espino hears his comments in the nearby hallway and is not pleased. As a result the two get into a small argument, leading Juan to call out Maurice to fight in the semifinals. In the days leading up to the second heavyweight matchup, one of the fighters struggles with his weight cut. In support of their teammate, the entire squad and staff of coaches helps him out during the night, working with him to try to shed the pounds in preparation for his weigh-in the next day. Then, in the third preliminary matchup, two heavyweights face off with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

  

Episode 3 - Look Through Your Soul

Hostility breaks loose at the Fight Announcement as a fighter makes one of the coaches nervous. Fighters in the house talk about their fear towards the most reputable competitor of the competition as he gets ready for his first round fight. Team Cejudo trains with a surprising approach at taking out Team Benavidez's threatening opponent, hoping for an upset with a risky game plan. Coach Benavidez confronts Coach Cejudo about a previous argument. The two opponents have an unexpected moment before their fight, and in the tournament's fourth fight of round one, two veterans go head to head as a dangerous striker goes up against a well-rounded machine.

  

Episode 3 - We Have Control

When one fighter engages in noisy late night activities, he creates enemies on both teams. Coach Carwin announces his first match-up, sending two more Welterweights into the Octagon for the 2nd Preliminary fight.

  

Episode 3 - The Heebie-Jeebies

Rampage and Forest pick teams. A fighter has a contagious skin disease, jeopardizing his future in the competition. And the first preliminary match-up of the season is fought.

  

Episode 3 - A Lotta Heart

One fighter's dream comes to an abrupt end, opening the door for another to return. Team Ortiz struggles to find harmony during training. Two Middleweights leave it all in the cage for a slot in the Quarters.

  

Episode 3 - Red, White and Bruised

The Americans and Brits move into the house as a fighter loses control and is ostracized. The last two Team USA members are decided when Kiel Reid and Jason Dent take on Frank Lester and Rob Browning.

  

Episode 3 - The Bible Thumper

Canadian welter weight Chad Laprise is the most feared striker in the house with a career built around his devastating knock-out punch. A devout Christian Chad boasts that he'll win the 25,000 dollar Best Knock-Out prize money in his bout again Aussie Chris Indich. But Chris who fights under the name, 'The Savage', grew up tough on the hard Australian outback fighting his way out of poverty and into the Octagon. Chris tells Chad that in Australia they know there's no such thing as 'easy money'.

  

Episode 3 - Settling the Score

American Top Team digs deep and battles personal demons in their tireless quest for victory. Meanwhile, the stress of the competition takes a toll on a member of the Blackzilians, which forces them to make some tough decisions.

  

Episode 3 - It's About Character

While Team Hughes prepares for the next fight, Team Serra gets down with sake and paint. Joey's makes a final decision on whether he's going to stay or go.

  

Episode 3 - Anytime, Anywhere

After losing the first fight, Frankie Edgar brings in famed BJJ black belt Renzo Gracie to work with his team. While Team Penn's Daniel Spohn uses free time at the house to work on training techniques, Team Edgar preacher Todd Monaghan holds a sermon.

  

Episode 3 - Recognize the Enemy

Conor McGregor shows up for the evening practice and is very hands on with technique with his team, then focuses on getting his fighter ready for the second preliminary fight. Conor emphasizes that patience is most important and has his fighter go through sequences that will help him come out victorious. On the other side, Urijah Faber trains his American fighter, who gave his opponent a beating during his elimination fight and is confident he will win. One of the European fighter's shares the story of how he overcame a health condition at an early age that crippled him, and had to learn to walk again leading to his decision to pursue MMA. Later, Urijah Faber and his assistant coaches stop by the house to watch the fights on TV as his friend TJ Dillashaw's defends the belt against Renan Barao. The tension rises between the coaches during the weigh in, as Conor tries to get under Faber's skin and tells him he should fight TJ Dillashaw. The second preliminary fight takes place and one of the coaches completely loses it when his fighter refuses to listen to his commands and does exactly the opposite. At the end of the fight, one coach confronts the other for his behavior and gives him a piece of advice. One team remains in control of the fight pick and the third preliminary fight is announced. Two eager fighters step forward and face off.

  

Episode 3 - Old School vs. New School

Teams react after Cruz picks two top fighters to face off early in the competition. Cruz trains number one pick Justin Lawrence as Faber prepares Brazilian jiu-jitsu veteran Cristiano Marcello for their highly-anticipated clash in the Octagon.

  

Episode 3 - Time to Shine

With the third preliminary fight days away, both teams head to the UFC's new state-of-the-art training facility The Performance Institute for a day of training. Then, during a Team Alvarez practice, one of the fighters has a panic attack. With help from Eddie and his assistant coach, the fighter is able to regroup and refocus on the competition. Still hurting from a rib injury she suffered during practice a few days before, Emily Whitmire heads back to the Performance Institute to undergo physical therapy and laser treatment. With help from the therapist and the gym's high-tech treatment options, Emily thinks she will be healed enough to fight. Then, two flyweights face off in the third preliminary fight, with a spot in the quarterfinals at stake.

  

Episode 4 - Stand and Bang

Getting out to a 2-0 start, Team Penn looks to continue the streak. Meanwhile, at the house, a rivalry develops between two light heavyweights. In the Octagon, it’s a middleweight battle as Tim Williams of Team Penn takes on Team Edgar’s Dhiego Lima.

  

Episode 4 - Game On

Team USA grows tired of Bisping's cockiness and retaliate against the British team. After a clever strategy session and intense training it's finally time for the first US vs UK preliminary fight.

                 

Episode 4 - A Faithless Foe

Urijah and Conor argue over coaching styles. A member of Team Faber skips practice. American Tom Gallicchio faces off against Poland’s Marcin Wrzosek in the third preliminary match of the competition.

  

Episode 4 - A Win Is a Win

Fresh off the third preliminary fight, Team Whittaker is back at the gym and hard at work preparing their next featherweight fighter. They hope her unique background and skills will prove to be too much for her veteran opponent to handle. Back at the house, her opponent shares the hardships she endured as a young gay woman and, through her home video, reveals how she overcame her past and built a great life for herself. The following day, Kelvin surprises his fighters with two guest coaches from his hometown. As the practice unfolds, Kelvin receives an unexpected gift that leaves him speechless. Meanwhile, Whittaker decides to take his team on a fun paddleboard outing. Kelvin then turns his attention to his upcoming fighter, who is confident her opponent is just a one trick pony. As fight day approaches, the fighters exchange words at the house and the tension rises in anticipation of their bout. At the gym, a featherweight begins to worry that she's not getting what she needs from her training and starts to contemplate the possibility of switching teams. Finally, an action packed roller coaster of a fight reveals the next semifinalist.

  

Episode 4 - Wild Thing

Following his fight Chris Indich has become the most popular fighter in the House. Respected by the Canadians and admired by the Australians Chris' resilience in swapping leather with Chad has shown everyone in the House the true meaning of courage. In particular Chris has become a hero to Australia's 19 year old 'wild child', Tyler Manawaroa. As the most highly-rated middle weight in Australia Tyler's (10 - 0) has become the House 'pest' irritating friend and foe alike. In particular Tyler's constant digeridoo playing has gotten under the skin of giant Canadian, Nordine Taleb who Tyler will face in the Octagon.

  

Episode 4 - Can't Fix Stupid

Dana treats the fighters to a special outing away from the house. After Roy uses a bizarre method to pick the next matchup, one fighter's weight problem puts his future in jeopardy. Then, two more welterweights face off in the Octagon.

  

Episode 4 - The Truth in Me

Team Alvarez's next fighter talks to one of her teammates about how hard it is for her to focus on her upcoming matchup and not think about what lies ahead in the tournament. At practice, she seems very confident that her experience will prove to be too much for her opponent to handle. Later that night, another fighter talks to her roommates about her roots. In her home video, she shares her affinity towards nature and how it connects to her fighting philosophy. The following day, a fighter tells the heartbreaking story of her father's death and how that event propelled her into a difficult life of drugs and addiction. Through her home footage, she discusses how she overcame her hardships and turned her life around with the help of her new husband. At the Team Gaethje practice, Justin believes that his fighter's best shot at winning is to go the distance and make the bout a dogfight. Later, as both competitors make weight, one of the fighters feels her opponent is trying to intimidate her. The fight determines the 4th quarterfinalist of the tournament and the coaches pick the 5th preliminary fight.

  

Episode 4 - All the Pressure

An injury in practice puts one fighter's future in doubt. Faber brings in a life coach to help the fighters be more positive. Then, Faber #1 pick Al Iaquinta takes on Myles "Fury" Jury of Team Cruz in the third preliminary fight.

  

Episode 4 - Get Out of My Face

After Billy's loss, Hughes takes out his anger on his team. One of the fighters threatens the production crew and Dana has to decide whether to kick him off the show.

  

Episode 4 - Boiling Point

The pressure of the octagon bleeds into the house as tempers flare on both teams. Also, a medical emergency threatens the future of one of the fighters and his team.

        

Episode 4 - Young and Hungry

While relaxing at The Ultimate Fighter house, Eric Shelton of Team Benavidez talks with Matt Schnell about the challenges of becoming a father at the age of 15. Matt says that having children was the furthest thing from his mind at that age, and jokes that he was still playing with action figures when he was 15 years-old. Between training sessions, coach Joseph Benavidez sits down with his team and watches his past two fights against UFC champion Demetrious Johnson. He offers up tips on fighting the champ, and gets feedback from his fighters. Then, shortly after, Henry Cejudo sits down with his squad and watches his previous fight with Johnson, a first round knockout. Afterwards, Cejudo asks his fighters for their thoughts on how they think they can dethrone the world champion. Then, in the fifth fight of Round 1, the #2 seed faces the #15 seed, with a spot in the second round on the line.

  

Episode 4 - Clown Box

One fighter accuses another of stealing his clothes, and they almost come to blows. Then two preliminary fights in one electrifying episode!

  

Episode 4 - Everything to Lose

Matthew Riddle is dying to fight and Dante messes with his head. The second preliminary bout turns into a battle royale between youth and experience.

  

Episode 5 - Battle Wounds

One of the fighters struggles to cope with the devastation of his loss. Meanwhile, two fighters with a history in the octagon are ready for a rematch.

  

Episode 5 - Just Do Something

The teams and their coaches react to the latest fight announcement in their respective locker rooms. The fighters for the upcoming bout feel confident in their ability to come out victorious. Back at the house, last episode’s loser struggles with the agonizing pain of defeat while his teammates try to console him. As the competition heats up, Conor goes back to the gym to work with his fighters. Having a very clear idea of how the next fight will unfold, Conor devotes his practice to a series of mat exercises and grappling drills. Meanwhile, during Team USA practice, Urijah expresses concern over his next fighter’s technical abilities. He works hard with him in the cage, doing his best to get him ready in a very limited amount of time. The fighters get a much-needed night out and meet up with the coaches at a sushi restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. They let loose in a jovial atmosphere and enjoy good food and libations while reflecting on their amazing experience thus far. However, as the days pass, it becomes clear that not all competitors seem to be relishing their time on The Ultimate Fighter. American Chris Gruetzemacher reveals to his teammate that he is unhappy and ready to be done with the competition. The time finally comes for the fourth preliminary fight and both fighters give it their all in the cage. After Urijah and Conor exchange their usual friendly banter, the winning coach picks the matchup for the fifth preliminary fight, which promises to be quite a fierce stand up battle.

  

Episode 5 - Not A Real Fighter

A fighter receives tragic news from home. Mac blasts Bowman's marital arts skills. Team Serra looks to win its fourth straight bout.

  

Episode 5 - Wiggity Wack

Team USA's infighting drives one American to form a bond with the Brits. Four fighters enter the Octagon for Lightweight and Welterweight bouts, and a coach fails to support his team member.

  

Episode 5 - Chewbacle

Jeremy May's obnoxious behavior rubs his fellow fighters the wrong way, putting him in the crosshairs as a potential opponent for Team Forrest. And a controversial fight result causes one coach to unleash his fury.

  

Episode 5 - Life Is a Fight

After an intense battle in the Octagon, one of the featherweights is carried through the front door, bruised and battered, by her heavyweight teammate. As she dwells on her defeat, her opponent gets drunk by the pool, relishing in her victory. At the gym, Kelvin brings in his friend John Walker, a former football player-turned-trainer and motivational speaker. At the house, the Team Gastelum coaches pay a visit and enjoy some adult beverages with the fighters. The visit makes Leah continue to wonder if switching teams might be in her best interest. Maurice does his best to recruit Leah to make the move, but in the end she decides to wait and see what happens in the next several days. In the morning, Josh opens up letters that his family sent him from home and reads them aloud to Marciea. Then, in the fifth preliminary fight, two heavyweights face off in the Octagon with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

  

Episode 5 - Resurrection

Tyler's courage has turned the mood of the House on its head. Cheers of 'Aussie Aussie Aussie' echo late into the night. The teams awake to find the fighter house blanketed in snow leading to an early morning snowball fight. Australian welter-weight Richie Walsh struggles to hide an injury as he prepares to fight young Canadian Matthew Desroches. As a member of Canada's military forces Matt has been angered by the Aussie's making fun of a giant wall-mounted moose head and vows to take revenge on Richie.

  

Episode 5 - Miserable Feeling

Sam Sicilia must decide whether to share information with his team about best friend, Mike Chiesa. After Andy Ogle struggles in practice, Urijah Faber sits him down for a heart to heart. Dominick Cruz is fed up with Chris Tickle's complaining. Then, Chiesa and Jeremy Larsen face off in the fourth preliminary fight.

  

Episode 5 - Nothing Stops Us

One of the fighters gets emotional while talking about his family and humble upbringing. Dana White gives everyone the night off to relax and watch UFC 200 at the house. Ronaldo gets very excited watching his friend and Jiu-jitsu pupil, José Aldo claim the interim title in his fight against Frankie Edgar. As the main event plays out, Jaime is ecstatic watching his American Top Team teammate Amanda Nunes take the belt away from Miesha Tate. At training, Cejudo prepares an overly confident fighter for what he believes will be a very tough matchup against a ground specialist. Benavidez, on the other hand, is confident that his fighter has all the right skills to easily bring home the victory. As fight day approaches, Harley Davidson brings a special guest to the house and gives all the fighters the opportunity to participate in their Jumpstart experience. The time for the seventh fight of round 1 arrives. The #7 and #10 seeds step into the octagon and deliver a very exciting battle. Then, emotions run high immediately after the fight. Finally, the #3 and #14 seed square off in the fight announcement.

After a devastating loss in her preliminary fight, one of the flyweights struggles to come to terms with her uncertain future in the sport. The next morning, still bruised from her loss, she decides to skip practice, much to the dismay of her coach. At the next training session the coach and fighter discuss the tense situation, hoping to put the issue to rest. However, in the end the rift between the two may have escalated even more. In preparation for her upcoming fight one of the fighters is frustrated with her low seed, using it as motivation in training. At the other team practice, her opponent struggles with some doubt and the pressures of making a name for herself in the UFC. Then, in the fifth preliminary fight, two flyweights face off in the Octagon with a spot in the quarterfinals at stake.

  

Episode 6 - It's All a Test

Team Hughes needs to win the next fight to have a say in the Quarter-final match-ups. Hughes teaches Dan a painful lesson. The sixth preliminary bout ends in controversy.

American Top Team rallies around their fighters, pushing themselves through the challenges ahead. Meanwhile, the Blackzilians must stay strong through the turbulence of the competition.

  

Episode 6 - Predator

In order to give his team a competitive advantage, Eddie Alvarez brings in his longtime strength and conditioning coach, Rich Pohler, to put his fighters through an intense training circuit. They all seem to enjoy the session except for Lauren Murphy, who thinks that Eddie may be overtraining the team. Meanwhile, Eddie's next fighter is excited to step back into the octagon after a prolonged absence from the sport. At the Team Gaethje training, Justin seems to be a bit concerned that his next young fighter may rely too heavily on her jiu-jitsu skills. Despite being far less experienced than her upcoming opponent, the fighter believes that she is ready to step up to the challenge. Back at the house, one of the more reserved competitors wakes up feeling very discouraged about the competition. She reveals that she's had an old injury flare up in practice and hopes that it won't affect her going into her first fight. The fighter heads over to the Performance Institute where she receives cupping therapy to ease the pain. She leaves feeling hopeful but still worrying about whether or not she will be able to perform to the best of her abilities. Through home video footage, the upcoming fighters reveal more about their home life, their gyms and how they got started in MMA. The day before the fight, both girls make weight and feel confident going into the bout. The next day, an exciting fight determines the 6th quarterfinalist and the coaches pick the 7th preliminary fight.

     

Episode 6 - Let It Loose

After the sixth fight of round one, members of Team Cejudo sit around the wall of belts as they visualize fighting the flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. A Team Cejudo fighter stays confident with his fighting style during preparation for his first fight in the competition. He practices take-down defense in anticipation of his opponents deep wrestling skills and jiu jitsu skills, but would rather stay on his feet to showcase his quick and powerful combos. Before hitting the gym, Coach Benavidez takes his team out to Lake Las Vegas for a paddle boarding session. Well aware that his opponent wants to keep the fight standing, Benavidez's fighter prepares to counter his boxing and go for an immediate take down to hopefully move on to round 2 of the competition.

After Juan takes offense to his salty language, the two have a heated confrontation in the backyard. The next night, just 24 hours after the big blowup, Ben and Przemyslaw try to talk some sense into Maurice. After a long conversation, Maurice decides to approach Juan and they settle their differences, at least for the time being. Then, after a few days of training, two more heavyweights take to the Octagon in the seventh preliminary fight. At stake, a spot in the semifinals!

  

Episode 7 - Summer Camp

Nelson once again has a fighter choose his opponent. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Forrest Griffin drops in for training. The feud between Hill and Secor reaches a boiling point. Dana White expresses outrage after the result of the 6th Prelim Fight.

The following morning, Lauren makes an announcement to the rest of her team before heading to the gym to join the blue team. After they welcome her with open arms, they shift their focus to preparing their upcoming fighter, who has to contend with a painful injury going into her fight. After the training session, Lauren seeks out Coach Alvarez to tell him about her decision and sparks fly between them. The time has come for the coaches challenge and both teams meet up with Dana White at a local pool to watch Eddie and Justin go head to head in an intense race. Eddie and Justin give it their all in the hopes of winning $10,000 for themselves and $1,500 for each of their fighters. As fight day approaches, Team Alvarez's fighter opens up about her life back home with her son. The weigh-in ends with an intense stare down between the two flyweights. The next day, the fight determines who moves on to the next round and the quarterfinals are announced.

After the trash talk heats up, a scuffle ensues. Dana visits the house to give the fighters an eye-opening lecture. Then two more welterweights face off in the 7th preliminary fight.

Back at the gym, Team Whittaker works with his upcoming fighter, who seems confident that her experience will give her the edge over her opponent. Meanwhile, at the house, Team Gastelum's fighter talks about her hometown to a teammate and introduces us to her family through her home video footage. As the weigh-in day approaches, Team Whittaker's fighter has a difficult time shedding her last few pounds. On fight day, Maurice is at it again with his drinking and starts picking on Anderson Silva from Team Whittaker. The fight determines the last semifinalist and Dana White announces the matchups after meeting with the coaches.

Both teams head to a desert shooting range for an explosive Coaches Challenge. Andy Ogle takes on Mike Rio in the last preliminary fight, then Dana announces the first two quarterfinal matchups.

While one is making a career comeback and looking for redemption, the other hopes to launch her career and get herself out of personal struggles she's been dealing with. In the days leading up to the second fight, also between teammates, one fighter struggles with her weight cut. Despite help from the coaches and other fighters, her weight issue puts her future in the tournament in jeopardy, possibly opening the door for another fighter to re-enter the competition.

The fighters take a field trip to the Harley-Davidson Boot Camp. Cocky Matt Van Buren of Team Edgar and Irish fighter Chris Fields of Team Penn bring their rivalry to the Octagon in the last preliminary fight. Then, Dana announces the semifinal matchups.

After the semifinal matchups are announced, Maurice's drunken antics continue. Despite efforts by his assistant coaches and teammates to calm him down, Maurice talks trash to Juan before shifting his focus to Anderson. Eventually, Anderson confronts Maurice and the two get into a heated argument in the gym's hallway. After Team Gastelum leaves for the day Team Whittaker decides to stay at the gym and order dinner, to avoid more confrontations with Maurice. Back at the house, Maurice continues to drink and annoy his teammates. Later in the night, Kelvin and the coaches pay a visit to the house and try to talk some sense into him. After he shows some remorse for his actions, the coaches leave. But once they're gone, the trash talking starts up again as Maurice starts to egg on Anderson once again, continuing the smack talk for the rest of the evening. The next day, as Team Gastelum gets ready to head to a tattoo parlor to get TUF 28 tattoos, they learn that Marciea doesn't want to join. After Pannie and Bea ask her about it, Marciea reveals that she is planning to leave the competition and go home because of Maurice's recent antics. After the team gets their new tattoos they decide to hold a meeting in the fighter's room to discuss their issues. There, they air their grievances, and eventually Marciea decides to stay in the competition and continue to work with her team. Then, after several days of training, the semifinals get underway as two heavyweights go head-to-head in the Octagon. At stake, a spot in the live finale in Las Vegas!

  

Episode 10 - Shocked and Awed

It's Jamie Yager versus Josh Bryant in the last quarterfinal fight, with an ending that leaves both teams in shock. Dana makes an unprecedented decision that turns the competition upside-down. After the smoke clears, the semifinal matchups are announced.

Jeremy May tries to sabotage one fighter's dream as the last quarterfinal fights get underway. After Tim Credeur fights Dan Cramer, and Cale Yarbrough takes onfavorite CB Dollaway, Dana sets the semifinal matchups.

The day of the fight, the underdog believes that she has the edge anywhere the fight goes while the favorite gets emotional feeling the pressure to perform for her family back home. The two fighters engage in a gruesome battle with the winner claiming the last semifinal spot. Then, the coaches announce the final matchups, which will determine the two fighters who get to move on to the live finale and compete for the inaugural UFC Women's flyweight belt.

  

Episode 10 - Nothing to Lose

Four team Serra fighters are forced to fight each other in the quarter finals. Matt Serra decides he can't corner against members of his own team and Troy Mandaloniz feels ignored by his coach.

In an emotional return to the gym, Kelvin Gastelum and his assistant coach put Maurice through a series of drills in an attempt to help him refocus and start preparing for his fight. At practice, Team Whittaker is hard at work with their first featherweight semifinalist. Even though she's confident, she believes she is going up against a tougher opponent than in her first fight. The next day, Dana White treats both teams to a day at the water park followed by a special sushi lunch. As fight day nears, Team Gastelum's fighter focuses her energy in training to preparing for what she believes to be her opponent's most threatening weapon. Then, an action-packed fight determines who moves on to the live featherweight finale.

  

Episode 10 - So Real It's Unreal

Dana makes a surprise visit to the gym for a shocking announcement. Then the quarterfinal round kicks off with two fights: James Vick vs. Joe Proctor, and Justin Lawrence vs. Michael Chiesa.

  

Episode 10 - Do or Die

It’s do or die for Dan and the American Top Team as they find themselves at a critical turning point in the competition. With the end in sight, Glenn and the Blackzilians make their plan to crush their competition, once and for all.

     

Episode 10 - Nice and Flowy

Due to a twist in the competition, one fighter shows heavy emotion after being eliminated from the competition. Even though he won his fight, his shot at getting into the UFC will have to be put on hold. After a sudden turn of events that brings another fighter back into the competition, Dana White has a big surprise for the fighters that will help them relax before the quarterfinals begin.

  

Episode 10 - With Friends Like These

With the UFC Live Finale in sight the mood of the Fighter House has darkened. The fighters pitch their match-up ‘wish list’ to Dana but not everyone gets what he wants and the inevitability of team mates clashing in the Octagon becomes real.

  

Episode 10 - Smiling and Punching

Dana adds a wrinkle to the semifinal matchups that infuriates the coaches. Team USA wonders if there's a traitor in their midst. And a bruising three round battle kicks off the semifinal fights.

  

Episode 11 - More Ups, Less Downs

One Team UK member is exposed for his embarrassing habit, while another suffers an injury in training. And in two action-packed semifinal match-ups, four lightweight fighters slug it out to earn their spot in the live finale.

  

Episode 11 - A Will to Win

Training for the semifinals kicks off with both teams going to the UFC Performance Institute for practice. While there, Eddie Alvarez comes up with an idea for a prank on fellow coach Justin Gaethje. After stealing Justin's keys, Eddie secretly steps outside and moves his car up onto the parking lot landscaping. As Justin and his team come outside they discover the joke, and everyone shares in a laugh. The next day, as one of the flyweights prepares for her upcoming semifinal matchup, Justin gets his revenge. With help from his team, Justin decorates Eddie's car with paint, and has a crane company lift his car roughly 30 feet into the air. After practice, Eddie and his team come outside and discover what has happened. Yet again, both teams share in a good laugh. Then, with a spot in the live finale in Vegas on the line, two flyweights take to the Octagon and face off in the first semifinal fight.

     

Episode 11 - A Will to Win

Rich Franklin takes over as the new coach of the red team, and several of the fighters have finally had it with Jamie Yager. All this plus two semifinal fights: Court McGee faces Liddell teammate Brad Tavares, and Josh Bryant takes on Kris McCray in a rematch.

     

Episode 11 - Pushing the Limits

The Blackzilians assess their situation, regroup, and prepare for the next battle, while American Top Team choose a strong but unlikely fighter in hopes of bringing home the win.

  

Episode 11 - Upper Decker

Disqualified Team Serra fighters drown their sorrows in booze and leave a nasty surprise for Team Hughes. Ben and Tommy face off in the last quarterfinal of the season. Dana and the coaches pick the match ups for the semis.

Teammates Patrick Walsh and Corey Anderson prepare to face off in the semi-finals. Training controversy causes the Edgar fighters to erupt in rage, and the coaches attempt to mediate. And then, it’s a semifinal slugfest between light heavyweights.

Forrest and Rampage go head-to-head in the Coaches' Challenge. Tim Credeur intervenes to save his pal Jesse Taylor when alcohol transforms him into a crazy, drunken animal. Then the two friends must face-off in the Octagon for the first semifinal fight.

Chris Saunders battles through emotional issues as he prepares to face Vinc Pichel of Team Cruz. Then, in the last quarterfinal fight, Faber teammates square off when Andy Ogle takes on Al Iaquinta.

  

Episode 11 - Be Loose, Be Free, Be Me

At the house, Team Whittaker complains about Robert and the coaches' training style. They feel that they're not sparring and practicing hard enough, and it's taking its toll on the team. The next day at training a few of the fighters go against the demands of the coaches, which forces Robert to hold a team meeting in the middle of practice. After lecturing the team, they resume training. Despite Robert's speech, the Whittaker fighters still feel they're not getting the training they need. The next morning they hold a practice on their own, without the coaching staff, and run through various drills. That night at the house the fighters, and a few assistant coaches from Team Gastelum, watch UFC 227. During the fights a heated argument breaks out between Marciea and Maurice over her use of the remote control. Eventually Maurice heads outside to smoke a cigarette and relax, looking to avoid more confrontation. The following day both teams head with their coaches to the UNLV track stadium for the Coaches Challenge. There, Dana and the Octagon girls greet them and introduce this season's challenge, a running race. Despite the scorching heat the coaches face off, with one team earning a cash prize. Then, two more fighters go head-to-head in the Octagon in the second heavyweight semifinal fight. At stake, a spot in the live finale in Las Vegas!

  

Episode 11 - Fight the Perfect Fight

Quarterfinal action continues as Nelson teammates Joey Rivera and Jon Manley face-off to stay in the competition. The tension builds between fellow Canadians Michal Hill and Mike Ricci before they enter the Octagon to unleash their aggression.

Conor is shocked when he finds out that Team USA coach Urijah Faber has brought in current UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo as a guest coach. Then it’s the semifinal fights, with a spot in the live finale in Las Vegas on the line.

With only one fight left in the tournament before the live finale, the two remaining semifinalists are hard at work during the final training sessions of the season. One fighter works mainly with an assistant coach to come up with a code system so that they can communicate during the fight. She learns the combinations with impressive ease and looks to be very well prepared for the upcoming bout. At her opponent's team practice, the coaches seem confident that their fighter needs to use her conditioning and take the fight to the later rounds in order to win. Even though she is the favorite on paper, they take nothing for granted and prepare for a tough battle. In the days leading up to the fight, one of the flyweights decides to go to the UFC Performance Institute in order to get help with her weight cut. They assess her health and advise her on the best course of action. The fighter spends the day at the institute under supervision and safely achieves her goal. On fight day, the two flyweights deliver a great show. The winner moves on to the live finale and faces off against her opponent. Finally, Coaches Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje square off in anticipation of their fight at UFC 218.

  

Episode 12 - The Showdown

It all comes down to the final fight of the season. The Blackzilians and American Top Team choose their best men to go head to head in the octagon in the hopes of winning bragging rights and the $200,000 prize.

Michael Bisping drops by the house for a meal with his fighters, after which some UK teammates get out of control. Then in the final semifinal fight, Frank Lester and James Wilks face off in a rematch to see who will fill the last spot in the finale.

In a special 90-minute episode, favorite CB Dollaway battles ironman Amir Sadollah in the second semifinal fight. And, after the most shocking event in Ultimate Fighter history, Dana is forced to make his toughest decision yet.

In the last episode before the live finale, the coaches say goodbye to their teams. The two remaining flyweight champions battle it out in the Octagon for the six-figure contract and a title shot at Demetrious Johnson. The Ultimate Fighter trophy is awarded.

With only one fight remaining before the live finale, Team Whittaker sits down with their last featherweight to watch tape and analyze her opponents preliminary fight. At the Team Gastelum practice, Kelvin decides to give his team a break and they all play a friendly game of dodgeball. Meanwhile, Team Whittaker's fighter is hard at work at the gym preparing for a tough matchup. As the fight approaches, Team Gastelum's featherweight decides to sit down with her coaches to review her own previous performance. They compare her last opponent to the next challenger and come up with a game plan at practice. At the house, Team Whittaker's featherweight pushes herself to the limit by putting in extra workout sessions in the backyard. Back at the Gastelum practice, their upcoming fighter finally has had enough and she breaks down during the training session. Later, the team rallies behind her at the house to help with a difficult weight cut and the two competitors have an uncomfortable run in with one another. After barely making weight, the two featherweights battle it out in the last fight of the season. Finally, the finalists all face off in anticipation of the live finale.

  

Episode 12 - Semifinal Showdown

Teammates battle it out for a spot in the finale on December 15th. Multi-skilled Jon Manley faces Army Ranger Colton Smith in a Team Nelson showdown. And Team Carwin tough guy Neil Magny tries to take out Canadian pretty boy Mike Ricci.

  

Episode 13 - The Final Countdown

With one last chance to secure a spot for Australia in the Live Finale the pressure is on Aussie striker, Vik ‘the Spartan’ Grujic. Standing in his way is Canadian Middleweight Sheldon Westcott who is looking to lock in a Canadian sweep.

The toughest tournament in sports comes to an end as The Ultimate Fighter - A New World Champion holds its finale at Park Theatre in Las Vegas. Featuring a main event that will crown the first women's flyweight champion in UFC history that kicks off a new era in mixed martial arts.
