Episode 1 - How Does Your Garden Grow?

Poirot and Hastings are off to the Chelsea Flower Show, where a pink rose named after Poirot is on display. At the show, Poirot is puzzled when an elderly woman corners him and gives him a seed packet. Later, Poirot receives a letter from the woman asking for his help with trouble in her household. Miss Lemon accompanies Poirot to the woman’s home in Surrey, where they find disaster has already struck.

  

Episode 2 - The Mysterious Affair at Styles

Arthur Hastings travels to the Cavendish estate at Styles St. Mary where he's been invited by John Cavendish. Hastings runs into his old friend Hercule Poirot, a war refugee now living in Styles and one ofthe most celebrated members of the Belgian police force. When the trouble at the estate turns criminal, Hastings immediately thinks of the Belgian detective and the two work side by side on a most baffling case.

  

Episode 3 - Million Dollar Bond

Someone is trying to do in a bank manager who’s about to travel to New York with a million dollars in Liberty Bonds. With the manager out of commission, the task of safeguarding the money falls to a young assistant who may not be trustworthy enough. The bank asks Poirot to go along, and the young man's fiancée, a bank secretary who’s worried that he’s in financial trouble, asks Poirot to ensure his safety.

  

Episode 4 - Plymouth Express

Gordon Halliday, an Australian mining magnate, persuades a reluctant Poirot to investigate a French count who’s romancing his daughter, Florence. Halliday is afraid that the count is only after Florence’s money, like her estranged husband, Rupert Carrington, who continues to turn to her with his financial woes.

  

Episode 5 - Wasps Nest

At a festive garden party with Japp and Hastings, Poirot meets John Harrison and his fiancée. When Poirot playfully reads the tea leaves in the young woman’s cup, he sees something disturbing.

  

Episode 6 - Tragedy at Marsdon

Poirot and Hastings travel to a country hotel after an urgent summons about a murder. Poirot is irritated to discover that the “murder” in question is fictional—the hotel landlord is also a crime writer hoping the master detective can help with a troublesome plot.

  

Episode 7 - Double Clue

When Japp consults Poirot on four recent robberies targeting high society, Poirot declares confidently that the next theft will be the last.

  

Episode 8 - Mystery of the Spanish Chest

Poirot is approached by Lady Chatterton, who believes her friend, the beautiful Marguerite, is in danger of being killed by her jealous husband. Lady Chatterton takes Poirot to meet Marguerite, but when a murder occurs at a party, Marguerite is the prime suspect, not the victim.

  

Episode 9 - Theft of Royal Ruby

When a priceless ruby is stolen from a dissolute young Egyptian prince at Christmas time, Poirot is reluctant to take the case. He relents only when the Foreign Office convinces him that British national interests are at stake.

  

Episode 10 - Affair at the Victory Ball

A group of friends arrive at a ball dressed as commedia dell’arte characters. The group includes two aristocrats, an actress and actor currently appearing in a radio play, and the actor’s wife, an American widow. Poirot and Hastings also attend the ball, where Poirot swings into action when one of the group is discovered dead.

  

Episode 11 - Mystery of Hunter's Lodge

Poirot accompanies Hastings on a grouse shoot at the estate of a friend’s uncle. When the uncle is slightly injured by an accidental shot to the hand, the hunting ends abruptly. At lunch, the whole shooting party is out of sorts, and Poirot falls ill. Late that night, a murder occurs at the hunting lodge, and a mysterious bearded figure on a bicycle becomes the prime suspect.
