Episode 4 - Revolution 1On the day of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, Hodiak (David Duchovny, "The X-Files") must investigate a murder in a black neighborhood while trying to prevent an imminent riot. In the midst of the crisis in the black community, Kristin's (Milauna Jemai Jackson, "Strike Back") involvement with the Black Panthers drives a wedge between her and Shafe's (Grey Damon, "Friday Night Lights") marriage. Meanwhile, Charmain (Claire Holt, "Vampire Diaries") brings the drug case to a close and discovers the full cost of undercover work.

Episode 5 - Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My MonkeyInternal affairs turns up the heat on Hodiak (David Duchovny), but a tragedy interrupts the investigation. Meanwhile, Dennis Wilson's (Andy Favreau, "Best Night Ever") courtship with Emma (Emma Dumont) ignites jealousy in Manson (Gethin Anthony). Dennis takes Emma and Manson to meet a record producer who lives at 10050 Cielo Drive- the future home of the Tate family.

Episode 7 - PiggiesManson (Gethin Anthony) and the Family receive two surprises: one a blessing, one a threat. As Hodiak (David Duchovny) tries to investigate a new clue in the case of the photographer killer, a series of roadblocks forces him to take a proactive measure. Meanwhile, Grace (Michaela McManus) makes plans for Emma (Emma Dumont). A shootout between the Black Panthers and LAPD reverberate in Shafe (Grey Damon) and Kristin's (Milauna Jackson) marriage.

Episode 8 - While My Guitar Gently WeepsManson searches for a missing Emma and ends up on Hodiak’s doorstep. Kristin helps Shafe kick heroin. At the precinct, two elderly ladies raise suspicions. Ken Karn goes to new levels for international diplomacy.

Episode 9 - Sexy SadieManson discovers that Dennis Wilson changed his song, and tries to track him down. Hodiak finds Emma in a sanatorium, but will need help to get her out. Shafe struggles to kick heroin cold turkey, so Hodiak refers him to a drug counselor who uses alternative methods. Bunchy Carter is arrested on trumped-up charges. An unemployed Ken Karn reunites with an old friend.

Episode 10 - BlackbirdKen and Emma find a peace with each other, but Emma wants to find Charlie. Hodiak seeks the truth behind Bunchy’s murder at the expense of Charmain’s career. Charlie spends time with Ralph Church. Shafe sees an old friend at rehab.

Episode 11 - Can You Take Me Back?Changes within the police department land Hodiak back in hot water with I.A., and he struggles to adjust to a neutered role in the precinct. The Family struggles to adjust to life at Spahn Ranch, but it seems their fortunes turn when Terry Melcher arrives and wants to record Charlie’s music. Ken Karn tries to find his role within the Family. All of Shafe’s chickens come home to roost at the same time.

Episode 12 - Mother Nature's SonA newly-retired Hodiak gets Walt out of prison, but Walt struggles to reintegrate with life outside. Hodiak settles into life with Billi, but then his car is found and inside are pictures matching those of his serial killer. Shafe bungles the easiest arrest in history. Manson sends Bobby, Mary, and Sadie to get money from Gary Hinman, and they go to extreme measures.

Episode 13 - I WillA newly "retired" Hodiak (David Duchovny) tracks down the serial killer who has been tormenting him for months, without the protection and authority of his police position. Manson (Gethin Anthony) sends Tex (Cameron Deane Stewart), Sadie (Ambyr Childers), Emma (Emma Dumont) and Patty (Madisen Beaty) to 10050 Cielo Drive, where they are swept up in one of the most infamous crimes in the country's history.
