Detective Superintendent Elizabeth Bancroft is leading the charge against the violent Kamara gang, while DS Katherine Stevens is given the Laura Fraser cold murder case to investigate. Elizabeth and Katherine's paths soon cross as Katherine finds there is more to the Fraser case than it seems, while Elizabeth finds her past catching up with her and increasingly difficult to hide.
