In the season premiere, when a kid trapped in quicksand comes into the ER on a Saturday, its up to Sy to wrangle the team back together because doctors dont work on weekends.

Detective Change Briggs (recurring guest star NICK OFFERMAN Parks and Recreation) is back and goes undercover in Ward 8, the wing for mentally insane children. Blakes ex-girlfriend, Britches (guest star SARAH SILVERMAN The Sarah Silverman Program), comes back and Chief and Glenn have handicapped sex.

Episode 3 - The Black Doctor

Blake needs a place to stay after his landlord kicks him out for being a clown. Meanwhile, Dr. Brian (recurring guest star JORDAN PEELE - MADtv) returns to Childrens Hospital after leaving his job as a consultant on the medical drama "Black Hospital." Also, Cat is naked the entire episode.

Episode 4 - Home is Where the Hospital Is

Space is getting scarce in the communal apartment and someone needs to move out. Sy deals with his own undesirable living condition.

Episode 5 - Nip / Tug

Pediatric plastic surgeon Tug Spano (guest star SETH MORRIS - Funny or Die Presents...) arrives at Childrens Hospital, while Max Von Sydow (recurring guest star JOHN ROSS BOWIE - The Big Bang Theory) mixes up babies in the maternity ward. Glenn and Owen take a walk to get a snack.

Episode 6 - The 70's Episode

Dr. Richie is back from killing babies in 'Nam, Lola wants to be a lady doctor and Dr. Brian (recurring guest star JORDAN PEELE) is just doin' what he does.

Episode 7 - Fathers Day

It's Fathers Day at Childrens Hospital and Lola and Dr. Brian (recurring guest star JORDAN PEELE) are determined to finding Cat's estranged father. Meanwhile, the other doctors wait on a prisoner to be executed so they can use his black heart for a transplant.

The Childrens Hospital doctors are assigned to work the nightshift. European doctor Velam Geza (guest star NICK KROLL - The League) joins the team to help show them the ropes. Plus, a doctor dies.

Episode 12 - The Chet Episode

In a very special episode, the action follows a day in the life of the creepy, pathetic paramedic Chet (recurring guest star BRIAN HUSKEY - The Onion News Network).

Episode 13 - Party Down

Jewish heart surgeon Glenn Richie never had a Bar Mitzvah, so now it's up to his girlfriend Valerie and longtime nemesis Rabbi Jewy McJewJew (recurring guest star DAVID WAIN - Wainy Days) to plan one. Also, Owen Maestro sets out on a quest to get his foreskin back.
