Episode 1 - Episode 1Tom and Suze are both 19 and both dreaming of the future. When nuclear bombs start falling, they have sex. Unfortunately, they then survive. Eight years later, they are wandering the wasteland where England used to be. They're joined by Laura, the child they conceived on the night of nuclear war. They end up at a camp of survivors, run by Oscar - Suze's insufferable and now unhinged ex. Here it turns out that surviving a lack of food and water is merely the start of our heroes' problems.

Episode 2 - Episode 2When Tom is elected the new boss of the survivors' camp, he finds leadership harder than expected. People are fighting, the water system needs fixing, and there's a very real threat of cannibals. Cue Tom going to great lengths to get out of actually having to be leader. Meanwhile Suze attempts to set up a school, and Laura is forced to answer questions about her mum and Oscar.

Episode 3 - Episode 3Tom assembles a team to go to the supermarket as the camp is running out of food. As Oscar is the only man who knows the way there, he joins our team on their roadtrip. En route, Tom, Suze and Oscar reminisce about their school days. In cannibal country they discover terrified old children's entertainer Stevie Giggle, who's lost none of his old charm. He warns them of Spectrum, a gang of cannibal women roaming the countryside and praying on unfortunate victims. As the situation becomes all the more dangerous, our heroes' lives are put increasingly at risk.

Episode 4 - Episode 4After most of the children suddenly turn green, panic rapidly spreads through the camp. Is it nuclear radiation? Or have the children turned into vampires? The Doctor is the only one with the antidote, but he doesn't have enough of it. When Laura turns green like the others, Tom needs to find a way to get the antidote. But the Doctor has gone power mad, and soon enough Tom & Suze find themselves in a race against time to try and work out the antidote before Tom is forced to go through with a grizzly good deed.

Episode 5 - Episode 5There's an unfortunate surprise for Tom in the arrival to the camp of his mother-in-law Cathy and her new boyfriend Pete, an overbearing alpha male American - who also happens to be his old PE teacher. Then out of the woods comes a beautiful stranger, Ash, who hasn't seen another human being for three long years. Tom is rather taken with the newcomer, much to the irritation of Suze, who remains skeptical of her real intentions. Meanwhile Tom's rivalry with Pete comes to a head in the shape of a viciously competitive game of musical chairs.

Episode 6 - Episode 6Tom and Laura are kidnapped by Ash and her Spectrum gang of cannibals, and thrown into jail. In order to keep the prisoners docile, Ash subjects them to a series of entertainment 'shows', performed by none other than Oscar. Meanwhile Suze tries to rescue her family, with Felix, Randall and Yamato in tow. But reaching the camp is far from easy. As Tom finds himself in serious danger of being turned into supper, the gang don't have long to save him. With Oscar and Ash on the rampage, the series ends with a bang.
