Episode 1 - Graduation DayThe Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is one of the largest police forces in the world, but when the elected Sheriff dies, an arcane rule in the county charter, forged back in the Wild West, suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job -- BILL HOLLISTER (Stephen Dorff, "True Detective," "Star"), a fifth-generation lawman. Given a job he never wanted, in an unfamiliar sea of politics, Bill quickly learns that doing what is expected and doing what is right are two different things, and that his innate, dogged pursuit of justice is the only skill the job truly requires. Bill faces his first test bringing down a money laundering scheme and saving a kidnapped young girl.

Episode 2 - 10-8 OutlawsWhen a group of jewel thieves go on a robbery spree just 48 hours into his tenure as Sheriff, Bill must test the limits of his political power in order to protect the city.

Episode 3 - Deputy DownAfter a mysterious shooting leaves one of their own injured, Bill and the team go out on a mission to find the shooter. Charlie attempts to get answers about what happened during the shooting, leading Joseph to a revelation. Meanwhile, when Undersheriff London tries to take control of the department, Bill reminds him who is in charge in the all-new “Deputy Down” episode of DEPUTY.

Episode 4 - 10-8 FirestoneWhile enforcing an unsanctioned raid on a human trafficking ring in Los Angeles, Bill finds an old informant of his who is in trouble. After returning from her leave and eager to get back into the field, Charlie is assigned to patrol with Joseph, the one person she would like to avoid. Meanwhile, as Bill continues to disagree with the board on how to best run the department, Jerry does Bill a favor in order to get on his good side in the all-new “10-8 Firestone” episode.

Episode 5 - 10-8 Black & BlueWhen a lifelong friend of Joseph’s is arrested for murder, Bill promises him justice will be served. However, in going against all advice and helping his godson, Bill runs the risk of creating enemies inside the Hall of Justice and within the Los Angeles Police Department.

Episode 6 - 10-8 Do No HarmWhile Paula does her monthly volunteer work at the prison hospital, she finds herself being forced to perform a life-saving surgery at gunpoint. Bill must work to ensure the safety of all those involved including his own wife.

Episode 7 - 10-8 Search and RescueWith resources tied up across the county due to a wildfire emergency, a car crash in the Angeles National Forest leads Bill and the LASD on a life or death search and rescue mission for an abducted girl.

Episode 8 - 10-8 SelflessWhen an ex-marine turns up dead on the street, Bill helps Cade work the case that hits far too close to home. With other candidates waiting in the wings to take Bill’s place as sheriff, the department pressures him to be more of a team player. Meanwhile, Paula and Maggie see a counselor to try to deal with the repercussions of Bill’s new position.

Episode 9 - 10-8 EntitlementsWhen a series of break-ins hit affluent West Hollywood homes, Bill fights to brings justice to the victims regardless of economic status. London struggles to gain influence with power players and potential donors and Bishop reveals a personal struggle.

Episode 10 - 10-8 School TiesWhen one of Charlie’s mentees from the local library gets mixed up with a gang, Charlie ropes in the whole team to help save her life. As Bill’s term draws to an end, other players continue to enter the race for power. Meanwhile, Cade and Teresa are struggling to deal with an unforeseen situation with their foster children in the all-new "10-8 School Ties" episode of DEPUTY.

Episode 13 - 10-8 BulletproofWhen informants for the Sheriff's Department start turning up dead all over Los Angeles, everyone has to work together to find the leak in the department. Meanwhile, Teresa and Cade deal with a major setback in the custody battle for their foster children. Also, on the day of Maggie's Quinceañera, Bill gets stuck in a difficult position between work and family.
