Episode 1 - The Thing That Wanted to Sleep

Our trio discover their slide is not a slide but a really big Dinopaw who was asleep - and they woke him up! The big Dino is not best pleased, he is old and tired and just wants to sleep, so he chases them far away. The big Dino is stopped in his tracks by a huge steep hill which he is too afraid to slide down. Our heroes realise that he needs help and offer to slide down with him. With their help, the Big Dinopaw slides and realises he can still do lots and lots of things!

  

Episode 2 - The Thing that Danced

The Dinopaws want to play in the wiggly canyon but find their path blocked by a huge dino called Sid. Sid who won’t let them play in the wiggly place unless they can copy his complicated dance called ‘The Sid’. They try to copy ‘The Sid’ but end up making up their own dances instead! Finally Gwen does get the dance right but Sid still refuses to let them pass. They realise Sid is not playing fair and decide to run past him. When Sid gives chase he gets stuck in the canyon. Eventually he admits that he just wanted some company. Bob, Gwen and Tony feel sorry for Sid.

  

Episode 3 - The Thing That Was Funny

Bob pulls a really funny face that makes Gwen and Tony laugh a lot but Bob can’t see it. Gwen has a great idea – they need to find another Dinopaw that is just like Bob, Otherbob, so Bob can look at him and see his funny face. The Dinopaws look everywhere and with every step Bob gets more and more excited about meeting Otherbob and seeing his funny face. They search and search but sadly they just can’t find Otherbob and real Bob is devastated. Gwen sees how sad Bob is and tries to do the funny face herself.

  

Episode 4 - The Thing That Wanted to Fly

When a baby bird falls from the sky into Gwen’s arms, Gwen promises that she will teach it to fly (even though she doesn’t know how). Bob and Tony are keen to help and the trio set about being as birdy and flappy as possible. Whatever they try, the baby bird still doesn’t fly. Then Gwen realises that to fly you have to get high. So Bob pulls back a bendy tree for Gwen and Bird to sit on, when he lets it go, they fly though the sky. Bird flaps her wings and sores then Gwen remembers that she can’t actually fly! She falls out of the sky like a stone but luckily Bird swoops down to catch her.

  

Episode 5 - The Thing That Was Coming Back

On a hot hot day the Dinopaws discover that something has flattened all the grass. Bob and Gwen wonder what it could be. Whatever it is, it would have to be very big! Just then, they hear a low rumble. Bob and Gwen realise that whatever it was that squashed the grass is coming back. They try to hide but fall down a pot hole leaving Tony outside to face the thing that was coming back alone! Tony, meanwhile is sitting under the lone raincloud in the sky, waiting for it to burst with rain. When it finally does, it brings him welcome relief from the hot sun.

  

Episode 6 - The Thing That Talked

Bob and Gwen wonder what if Tony will ever talk using ‘Bob and Gwen’ words. As they ponder this idea, a curious bird perched high in a tree says “I know something you don’t know”. Unable to see the bird, Gwen can only surmise that Tony said it – he finally talked using Bob and Gwen words! Desperate for Tony to ‘talk like them’ again, they cajole him until he loses his voice and can’t talk using any words any more. Gwen, fearful that she’s ‘broken’ Tony, realises that he is lovely just the way he was and she shouldn’t have tried to make him talk like her.

  

Episode 7 - The Thing That Was Mine

The Dinopaws find a nut, a feather and a bone and decide to keep them – it’s findy-keepy. However, problems start when they meet another dino who claims their stuff belongs to her. She grabs Tony’s bone and runs off with it. Our heroes give chase and eventually Tony and the dino end up in an almighty tug-o-war. They strain and strain then fall over sending the bone flying through the sky and landing back when they found it! They all race to retrieve it but when they get there, another dino has it and won’t give it back. A second exhausting chase ensues.

  

Episode 8 - The Thing That Leaped High

In a tropical forest Tony inadvertently discovers pole-vaulting. Gwen and Tony love it, leaping through the jungle and, unwittingly, leaving Bob behind. Bob can’t find a stick to go leaping with, he tries again and again but all the sticks picks break or bend. Suddenly Bob hears Gwen shouting for help. She and Tony leapt high and got stuck in the mud! Bob rushes to rescue his friends but there is a big boulder in the way. He can’t leap over it but he can use his strength to push it out of the way. Bob moves the rock and rescues his friends.

  

Episode 9 - The Thing That Talked Back

The Dinopaws are playing a swappy-sound game where they all try to talk like each other! As they walk along doing impressions, they come across a deep twisty canyon. They discover that this canyon is a swappy-sound place when every time they talk loudly, their voices echo back at them from another place. They have lots of fun with noises but when Gwen gets lost the shouting and the echoes make it impossible to find her! Gwen has to learn how to be quiet and listen so she can find the others in the twisty swappy-soundy canyon.

  

Episode 10 - The Thing That Was Scary

Running from a particularly persistent storm the Dinopaws try to shelter in a cave but find something far worse than a storm has got there first - and it’s got Tony! Gwen and Bob try to out scare the scary thing but discover that the scary thing is actually two frightened things and Tony is their friend. They learn that sometimes things aren’t as scary as they may seem at first.
