He also sees how an old underground toilet has been transformed into a stunning house and how a horsebox has been given a new lease of life as a home for humans. And George's own caravan build gets off to a shaky start as even his builder fails to see the potential in his hunk of seventies rusting metal.

George meets a teacher who's bought a bit of woodland up in the Lake District and discovers that building a picturesque foresters hut is not an easy task. George also visits a woman who lives and works in a shipping container, and he gets a tour of one of country's most expensive garden retreats. And on his own project, George bids farewell to the nostalgia of his caravan's 1970's interior and takes the plunge with a risky but ingenious way of creating extra space for the family.

Episode 3 - Epsiode 3: Modules, Beach Hut and Gypsy Caravans

George meets a couple of farmers in Scotland who have commissioned a prototype holiday home, with almost disastrous consequences. He meets obsessive VW Campervan owners, visits the woman who's restored some gypsy caravans back to their former glory and he takes a trip to the seaside to see an amazing transformation of a six foot by six foot beach hut. And on his own caravan build, George tries to come up with an ingenious solution that will sleep his family of five in a space barely big enough for one double bed.

Episode 4 - Epsiode 4: Caravan, Tree Tent and Tube Carriages

Architect George Clarke continues his journey into the wonderful world of micro builds. This week he meets a woman trying to turn an old caravan that was used as a home for chickens into a ice cream parlour. He also tries out the country's first ever tree tent as well as visiting some offices built out of four old tube carriages. He travels to Barcelona to see the tiny studio flat that thinks it's a five room apartment and on his own caravan build, George designs a sofa that doubles up as a bath.

George meets the man who drunkenly bought a 1920s showman's carriage on ebay who quickly sobered up when he saw the state it was in. George also visits a holiday home built out of an old world war two vehicle and he follows the build of Britain's most landlocked beach hut, in Birmingham. This week George meets a man whose simple plan of converting a shipping container into a garden office soon runs into problems. George also spends time on the water as a Canal boat is redesigned by a formula one worker who uses all his design engineering skills to create ingenious pieces of multifunctional furniture to turn it into the ultimate crash pad as an escape from the fast paced life on the F1 circuit. And George is finally ready to unveil his own small space project..but will all the effort have been worth it?

Episode 7 - Episode 7: Amazing Spaces at Christmas
