Episode 1 - Episode 1Simon Chan returns home with a secret. Everyone thinks he was at a martial arts school in Beijing, but he was at Marshall’s Art School, in Melbourne. Now everyone thinks he’s a kung fu master and the new saviour of their town.

Episode 2 - Episode 2Simon must find a way to defend his mother’s shop from a gang of pirate DVD dealers. Petal pushes Simon to tell Egg that he’s not a warrior, but he’s worried Egg will blow his secret. Egg is tempted into pirate DVD addiction.

Episode 3 - Episode 3Mrs Chan loses her shop in a fish fight and Simon is forced to go against his principles to win it back. With the help of Le Bok, Petal and Egg, he trains Bubbles, a tiny goldfish to go against the monstrous Killer Minogue.

Episode 4 - Episode 4It’s ghost month and angry spirits are attacking shops. Simon is called upon to drive them out, but after a visit from his dead father, he becomes convinced that his lie about being a warrior has made the spirits restless.

Episode 5 - Episode 5A chef is murdered at the food festival and Mrs Chan is the prime suspect. Simon tries to clear her name, whilst Egg tries to woo Petal by winning a cooking competition, only to create chaos with an aphrodisiac duck recipe.

Episode 6 - Episode 6Mrs Chan is evicted from her shop and Simon challenges the mayor to a public referendum to save it. Unable to win with integrity, Simon adopts the mayor’s politics of razzle dazzle, which culminates in an epic music battle.
