Episode 1 - Episode 1Outnumbered is a new comedy written by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin about the daily rollercoaster of life with small children. Three small children in fact a regal five-year-old girl with a talent for interrogation and an interest in nits, a seven-year-old boy who could out-fib Jeffrey Archer, and an eleven-year-old who is gearing up for his scary first day at secondary school.

Episode 1 - The Christmas Special (2012)The Brockman family have decided to foster a sense of community by throwing a Christmas party for their neighbours. However, as expected, festivities do not go as smoothly as planned. They are visited by some colourful guests, including, among others, an opinionated neighbour, a traumatised ex-weatherman and that most unwelcome of guests, a seasonal gastric virus.

They encounter car problems, child problems, parent problems, emotional problems and World War Two. If the adults can't sort things out the children will have to. Like all families everything has changed and everything remains the same.

Episode 2 - Episode 2Mum is upset to find out that her schoolteacher husband, Pete, is being investigated by the school for apparent racist remarks he made to a student, and Ben's lying becomes more of a problem.

Episode 3 - Episode 3Stuck on the A3, Mum tries to keep the peace in a car containing a new-age Auntie, a bewildered Grandfather, three fractious kids and several full bladders.

Episode 4 - Episode 4Ben's fibbing goes to a whole new level and a romantic night in for mum and dad doesn't quite go to plan.

Episode 5 - Episode 5Ben's on the case again - this time he's got a mystery illness and is far too ill to go to school and Auntie Angela's been dumped by her boyfriend, so the family rally round to cheer her up.

Episode 6 - Episode 6Five-year-old Karen decides she's had enough of mum's nagging and announces that she's leaving home, for Spain, or possibly Greenland and preparations are in full swing for a dinner party.
