Episode 2 - S5 EP2 The PaedosMarcus offers to tutor Gloria's teenage son Barney who's struggling at school, while Jason coaches him in his specialist subject of romance. Grumio is mistaken for a schoolboy.

Episode 3 - S5 EP3 The BanquetThe boys gatecrash a banquet having received an invitation by mistake. Marcus tries to win favour with host Senator Varus, while Jason seduces an aristocrat named Rufina.

Episode 4 - S5 EP4 The GrumbrellaThere's a heatwave and Marcus has invested in a new gimmick for the bar, ice. Grumio develops an innovation of his own, a hat-parasol, which attracts the attention of entrepreneur.

Episode 5 - S5 EP5 The HooligansThe boys attempt to infiltrate a firm of chariot hooligans, to get some big drinkers into their bar. Grumio is soon welcomed into the fold by Paulus, head of the Green Army.

Episode 6 - S5 EP6 The DigThe boys begin an archaeological dig after Grumio unearths a brooch while on the loo. Their attempt to keep their activity a secret is unsuccessful.

Episode 7 - S5 EP7 The New FlatThe boys face uncertainty when the Landlord evicts them without notice; Marcus hopes his parents will help him onto the property ladder, but his dad has other plans.

Episode 8 - S5 EP8 The WeddingJason's brother Darius is getting married and Marcus wants to hire out the Crown and Toga, while Grumio offers to be the planner. They soon find out that Darius is a serial jilter.
