Episode 1 - 1. The Right Stuff

The squad has a new man, Senior Constable Tom Young, a top rugby league player. He is teamed with Mickey, a fan, and together they rescue a protester from the side of a 40 storey skyscraper.

     

Episode 2 - 2. Off The Track

Mickey visits his parents only to end up fighting with his father, again. At the base, the squad is subdued. Angel is obsessed with whether he and Georgia made the right decision.

     

Episode 3 - 3. The Hard Way

Georgia, Kathy and Angel are called out to a rescue involving a car, which has crashed through a safety fence and down a slope. A distraught woman is trying to open the car doors.

     

Episode 4 - 4. The Big Canary

Fraud Squad Head Superintendent Tony Daniels, ask Bill Adams if Rescue can guard a Dr Baldwin - in a secret operation. Mickey's the man for the job.

     

Episode 5 - 5. Judgement Day

The facade of an old building has collapsed, burying a little girl, Jennie Telford, who was playing there with brother.

     

Episode 6 - 6. Stakeout

On Senior Constable Brian Morley's first day with the squad, he is sent out with Mickey and Georgia to a crash where a truck, loaded with hazardous chemicals, has jackknifed across an suburban street.

     

Episode 7 - 7. Sugar

After a party to celebrate Angel's engagement to Helena, Kathy's brother, Mark, is killed in a car accident - the other driver was drunk.

     

Episode 8 - 8. With a Vengeance

Mickey, Georgia and Angel locate two young men who have survived a light plane crash in a national park. The plane has plummeted into a cliff face, high in the trees.

     

Episode 9 - 9. Reasons to Live

Mickey and Angel rescue prominent artist, Lew Campbell, who has been trapped in his studio by a gas explosion. His wife, Holly, and their two young daughters have escaped unhurt.

     

Episode 10 - 10. From This Day Forward

At the pub where Angel is having his bucks night, Nipper runs into an old contact, Johnny Blackett, who's just been released from a six-year jail sentence. There's obviously bad blood between them.

     

Episode 11 - 11. Angels Devils

Angel is having martial problems. When he sees Helena getting out of a sportscar outside her office then kissing the driver goodbye, Angel suspects that she is having an affair.

     

Episode 12 - 12. The Real Meaning

Mickey baulks when Paramedic Tricia Mellick, tells him she is going to abseil down a skyscraper to help him rescue an unconscious man caught on a gantry between the 34th and 33rd floor.

     

Episode 13 - 13. Heartbeat

With David and Georgia's wedding only a week away, Mickey tries to be happy for Georgia but deep down his mood is black.
