Season 1 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Series 1, Episode 1: Pilot

Meet Dr. Hank Lawson -- young, brilliant, and recently fired from his ER in Brooklyn for all the wrong reasons. Through a twist of fate, he now finds himself the newest "concierge doctor" in the Hamptons. Providing round-the-clock house calls to the community's rich and famous might be lucrative, but it's not without its challenges and frustrations. Along with his social-climbing brother Evan, faithful physician assistant Divya, and the beautiful local hospital administrator Jill, Hank must adapt to this strange new world of privilege and power, while struggling to find a way to do well and do good at the same time.

Episode 2 - There Will Be Food

Hank, Evan, Jill, and Divya attend a retirement party ... for a 27-year-old. The retiree, Tess, a ballerina, is thrilled when Evan expands her culinary horizons by feeding her hot dogs, Slurpees, and other foods she's had to give up to maintain her dancer's physique, but loses consciousness after a few of these junk-food laden meals. Hank discovers she may have a potentially fatal heart condition. Meanwhile, Hank also cares for Jim, a fisherman with Hepatitis C, pro bono. A vulnerable -- and less than sober -- Jill also exposes some of her feelings to Hank after funding for her free clinic falls through.

  

Episode 2 - Series 1, Episode 2: There Will Be Food

Hank, Evan, Jill, and Divya attend a retirement party ... for a 27 year-old. The retiree, Tess, a ballerina, is thrilled when Evan expands her culinary horizons by feeding her hot dogs, Slurpees, and other foods she's had to give up to maintain her dancer's physique, but loses consciousness after a few of these junk-food laden meals. Evan, meanwhile, has been busy trying to drum up more female HankMed clients by convincing numerous young women to attend a party the next day at the Shadow Pond grotto, but things don't go as smoothly as planned. Evan's efforts aren't entirely for naught however, as he also helps set up Hank and Jill on their first official date.
