Lee (BRUCE BOXLEITNER) and Amanda (KATE JACKSON) run up against an Iron Curtain assassination team attempting to silence an émigré speaking out for a dissident writer. But it's Amanda's mother, Dotty (BEVERLY GARLAND), who literally smashes the plot.
