Episode 4 - Pride and PrejudiceWhen Mike allows a female news reporter to do a story on him, it backfires when a comment he makes makes Ashley angry. Carter goes around Mike to get the Mayor to address an important issue.

Episode 11 - Dog Day AfternoonIn an attempt to patch things up between the Mayor and the Police Commissioner, Michael engineers a tribute to the Commissioner’s ex-canine partner. Ashley finally gets the City Hall beat.

Episode 12 - Criss CrossWhen the Mayor becomes too sick to make an appearance on “Cross Fire”, Mike must go in his place. Things heat up in the office when James, Nikki and Karen are caught in a love triangle.

Episode 18 - SnowboundWhen a major snowstorm hits Manhattan, it causes a chain reaction of mishaps at City Hall.

Episode 19 - StripteaseMichael discovers that his new girlfriend, Gayley, is paying for law school by moonlighting as a stripper. Meanwhile, Claudia catches Paul in a lie and Nikki dominates Stuart with her mind.

Episode 20 - Deaf Becomes HerIt’s damage control time when the Mayor’s inept new sign language interpreter offends the deaf community. Michael rushes to appease one of its leaders before she organizes a demonstration.

Episode 24 - Mayor Over MiamiWhen the Mayor skips town with Paul after receiving his divorce papers, Mike must cover for the missing Mayor before his planned State Of The City address.
