Episode 1 - Episode #101 (Pilot)

During a routine submarine dive, oceanographer Laura Daughtery (Lake Bell) discovers an unknown life form and unearths a government cover-up operation led by scientist Dr. Aleksander Cirko (Rade Sherbedegia) Meanwhile, Louisiana fisherman Richard Beck (Jay R. Ferguson) loses his brother in a suspicious diving accident, and a young boy named Miles (Carter Jenkins) sneaks an unusual aquatic egg into his home. From the South Antarctic Sea and the Gulf of Mexico to San Diego and Monterey, there's something lurking in the water. Leighton Meester also stars.

  

Episode 2 - Episode #102

Miles (Carter Jenkins) is trying to form a bond with his unidentified species that he decides to name (Nimrod) but Savannah (Leighton Meester) decides to throw a party while their parents are away and the creature escapes and causes widespread panic at the party. Meanwhile, Laura (Lake Bell) and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) attempt to get onto Sullivan's Island to find out the truth behind the mysterious carcass that was washed ashore but instead they are taken to an evacuation center and questioned. Rade Sherbedegia also stars.

                          

Episode 3 - Episode #103

Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) and Cirko (Rade Sherbedgia) begin to theorize that the unidentified species are heating up the earth and are causing global warming by digging underneath the ocean’s surface. Meanwhile, Laura (Lake Bell) loses her job because of false accusations of plagiarism and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) keeps hearing his deceased brother’s voice every time he comes in contact with water. Elsewhere, Miles (Carter Jenkins) continues to keep Nimrod in the playhouse in his backyard until it gets struck by lighting. Leighton Meester also stars.

                    

Episode 4 - Episode #104

When Laura (Lake Bell) and Jackson (Austin Nichols) encounter one of the unidentified species at sea, Daughtery fires a GPS tracking device into it in an effort to keep track of it. Meanwhile, Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) is beginning to think he is getting over his brothers death but when he sees photos of sinkholes similar to those in his visions he has a relapse. Elsewhere, Circo (Rade Sherbedgia) testifies before the Pentagon that this unidentified species is extremely dangerous and Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) tries to talk him out of it. Leighton Meester and Carter Jenkins also star.

                    

Episode 5 - Episode #105

Good friends and keepers of "Nimrod," Miles (Carter Jenkins) and Phil (Eddie Hassell), are confronted and questioned by Animal Control officers when a neighbor’s dog is reported missing. Meanwhile, Laura (Lake Bell) and Richard (Jay R. Ferguson) continue to follow the unidentified species via a GPS tracking device from a local pier when suddenly all the power in the city goes out and digital data is destroyed. Elsewhere, Circo (Rade Sherbedgia) and Lee (Ian Anthony Dale), who have been secretly following Laura, invite her to join their investigation. Leighton Meester also stars.

              

Episode 6 - Episode #106

While studying a sea orchid, Cirko (Rade Sherbedgia) figures out the origin of the "unidentified species" and subsequently is mysteriously run down by a car and left for dead after he tells Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) about his discovery. Meanwhile, Cirko's assistant, Singh (Shishir Kurupt), escapes a warehouse raid with the orchid and important computer files as well as a key to a storage locker before dying on her lawn. Elsewhere, Laura (Lake Bell) and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) are now on the run because upon retrieving the orchid and returning back to Laura's house they find that her house has been ransacked by the government. Carter Jenkins, Eddie Hassel and Leighthon Meester also star.

                    

Episode 7 - Episode #107

Dr. Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) gives a small account of Cirko's death to his superiors, concluding that it was a necessity in the long run, before revealing a new and budding clue in this investigation. Laura (Lake Bell) and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) enlist the help of Jackson (Austin Nichols) when her home is mysteriously ransacked by strangers, sending the trio under the radar and up the coast. Meanwhile, Nim's uncontrollable behavior forces Miles (Carter Jenkins) and Phil (Eddie Hassell) to steal a pizza delivery car and lead the police on a chase to the beach where Miles lets Nim go in the ocean. Nim reluctantly swims away and Miles turns back to the shore where his parents and the police are waiting for him. Leighton Meester also stars.

                 

Episode 8 - Episode #108

Laura (Lake Bell), Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) and Jackson (Austin Nichols)) race to finish the submersible they are building, and despite several setbacks during a test run, take it out to the spawning site. As Rich and Daughtery begin their descent, they spot the creatures spawning but a system failure causes the submersible to freefall, putting them in jeopardy. Elsewhere, Miles' (Carter Jenkins) parents consider sending him to a boot camp for problem children, but rethink their decision and send him to an aquarium for volunteer work. Ian Anthony Dale and Leighton Meester also star.

                 

Episode 9 - Episode #109

As Laura (Lake Bell) and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) race against time in a submersible they realize the "unidentified species" are laying thousands of eggs on the ocean floor. Meanwhile, Miles (Carter Jenkins) hears a report of a vicious attack on two electricians working on a marine dock, and suspects that Nimrod may be the culprit. Elsewhere, Phil (Eddie Hassell) stakes out an underwater power cable in hopes of finding Nimrod only to discover Nimrod now has a lot of underwater friends. Ian Anthony Dale and Leighton Meester star.

     

Episode 10 - Episode #110

When Laura (Lake Bell) and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) return to the surface from the ocean floor, they realize the boat that took them to this location is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Miles (Carter Jenkins) is taken to the hospital after suspiciously passing out in class. Elsewhere, Miles' sister Savannah (Leighton Meester) comes to the realization that her brothers sudden admittance to the hospital may have be a result of a bite mark on his body caused by his former pet Nimrod. Eddie Hassell also stars.

     

Episode 11 - Episode #111

Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) and Laura (Lake Bell) sneak out of the hospital with the creature footage before Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) and his men can get to them. Upon their successful escape Rich and Laura take the exclusive footage to tape to a copying service company in an effort to upload it onto the internet and convince a news station to run a piece about the footage. Meanwhile, Miles (Carter Jenkins) is sad and defeated while he watches doctors preparing to perform an autopsy on Nim but that all changes when Nim sneezes and they realize he is still alive.

  

Episode 12 - Episode #112

Laura (Lake Bell) and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) become fugitives and are being pursued by Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) and his legion of secret agents. While hiding out, Laura has a bizarre Internet exchange with a mysterious person who claims to have information about the origin of the creatures. Meanwhile, Miles (Carter Jenkins) and Caitlin go to a bonfire party at the beach and are stunned when two of her friends mysteriously disappear after a late-night swim. The next day the Coast Guard makes a grisly discovery. Leighton Meester also stars.

  

Episode 13 - Episode #113

After it’s revealed to Laura (Lake Bell) that a cadre of top scientists created this new species, she wakes up in a field after being drugged and Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) comes to her rescue. Fearing the end of the world, Laura and Rich are determined to find the mysterious corporation that funded this experiment gone awry, but nothing could prepare them for what they discover in an abandoned laboratory along the way. Meanwhile, Miles (Carter Jenkins) joins Blum and his crew of aquarium workers on a boat excursion to find the egg field containing millions of unhatched creatures. Surprisingly, Miles later agrees to help law enforcement find Nim. Leighton Meester and Ian Anthony Dale also star.

  

Episode 14 - Episode #114

Fears Are Rising -- Rich (Jay R. Ferguson) and Laura (Lake Bell) go to see Lee (Ian Anthony Dale) for answers, and Lee winds up learning more than he would have ever expected. Concerned about the escalating violence she sees in Rich, Laura decides to pack it in and return home to see her son. The townspeople grow increasingly fearful as Miles (Carter Jenkins) behaves more and more like Nim. After being attacked by a bully at school, Miles brutally retaliates, and an angry mob calls for him to be arrested. Leighton Meester also stars.

  

Episode 15 - Episode #115 (Season Finale)

Who Will Be Left Behind? -- With a tsunami approaching the coast, the residents of Wilmington find themselves under a mandatory evacuation. Among the mass exodus of people leaving for safety, Miles (Carter Jenkins) and his family scramble to make it off the island. Meanwhile, Laura (Lake Bell) travels to North Carolina to find Rich (Jay R. Ferguson), who has been arrested by military police at the mysterious laboratory. As employees hurriedly vacate the building, Rich is locked up in a cell and left to die.
