Episode 1 - Hello

Shaun proposes a treatment for a homeless patient that places him and Jared in Andrews' crosshairs; Glassman faces a difficult decision about his health; Claire attempts to overcome Melendez's reluctance to perform a risky heart operation.

        

Episode 2 - Middle Ground

As Shaun pushes back against Dr Melendez to treat an ill hospital janitor, Dr Lim risks a lawsuit and her career to help a girl repair the damage caused by an archaic custom. Also, Dr Glassman exercises demanding oversight regarding his own surgery.

        

Episode 3 - 36 Hours

Dr Lim asks Dr Murphy and Dr Reznick to oversee the emergency room so she can take care of some personal business; a young married couple face a difficult choice between their future ability to start a family or saving the wife's life.

        

Episode 4 - Tough Titmouse

Shaun recalls his own past to help an intellectually disabled teenager face separation from his mother; Claire is put between an injured teenage rock climber and her worried parents; Glassman's post-op hallucinations force him to confront a tragedy.
