Episode 1 - And the Crown of King Arthur

On a mission to retrieve a WMD, NATO counter-terrorism expert Colonel Eve Baird crosses paths with occult expert Flynn Carsen, who's on his own hunt for a lost demonic artifact. After a furious battle of gunfire and magic, Baird finds herself drawn to the mysterious man who claims to be simply "a Librarian". Baird is soon invited to join the ancient organization known only as "the Library", based in an endless Library of artifacts hidden deep underneath New York City. Now teamed with Flynn - who's half-mad from a decade of world-spanning magical adventures - Baird finds herself embroiled in the ancient battle between the Library and the Serpent Society. The Society are occultists who wish to bring magic back and use it to rule the world, led by the mysterious Dulaque. Soon Flynn and Baird are in a race against time to save the lives of other extraordinary people the Serpent Society has targeted for assassination: synesthete science genius Cassandra Cillian, rough-living art and history expert Jacob Stone, and infamous high-tech thief Ezekiel Jones. These three reveal a deeper conspiracy, a plan by the Serpent Society to hunt down the key to controlling all magic - the ancient Crown of Camelot's King Arthur.

The Librarians have retrieved King Arthur's Crown - only to discover it's part of a deadly trap laid by their ancient enemies, the Serpent Society. Now the Library is lost in space and time, Flynn is mortally wounded, and Dulaque has recovered the real key to his scheme: Excalibur, King Arthur's magic sword. On the run, the Librarians retreat to a small safe house, an Annex to the Library, run by the brilliant and cranky Jenkins. The Librarians must stop Dulaque from bringing magic back to the world - but they have to break into Buckingham Palace to do it.

The Western and Eastern Dragons are preparing for war and they'll be looking to the Library - the only universally acknowledged neutral party in the secret world of magic - to negotiate a truce. Unfortunately not only the Dragons show up, but representatives of every secret power in the magical world, demanding satisfaction. Even worse, Flynn is maneuvered out of his position to negotiate. Ezekiel Jones, selfish thief, and the one person who loathes him most - Jenkins - must bring peace to the magical world. Flynn and the others set off to find the stolen object at the heart of the conflict. As they search the Vatican for clues, Baird and Flynn clash over leadership styles. Flynn finds that he can't step back into being the boss when Baird's been leading the team and building trust with her people. Things only get worse when they find the artifact, which twists each team member into the worst version of themselves. Episode 11 - And the Drowned Book

While Jenkins discovers there's something wrong with the Library since it returned from the Void, the Librarians all find themselves drawn back together after having been off on their own for months, to solve the mystery of a massive storm that has parked itself over Manhattan. They soon discover the culprit in both cases is none other than Shakespeare's Prospero.

  

Episode 12 - And the Broken Staff

Prospero summons up other Fictionals in order to retrieve the parts of his Staff from a museum. The Librarians soon find themselves pitted against Frankenstein's monster and Sherlock Holmes' brilliant nemesis Moriarty. Meanwhile Flynn (Noah Wyle) and Baird have a disagreement over how to proceed against Prospero.

  

Episode 13 - And What Lies Beneath the Stones

Stone, Cassandra and Ezekiel have a proper team-up for the first time in months when they investigate a cave-in at an oilrig site, which has unleashed Hokolonote, a shape-shifting god who grows in strength any time a lie is told. Now the Librarians have to come clean to each other, airing their issues and solving the riddle of the ancient prison that held Hokolonote.

  

Episode 14 - And the Cost of Education

Students start disappearing at Wexler College, an institution started by a mad historian / architect who believed in alternate dimensions. When the Librarians arrive, they discover a young student from the physics department is investigating the bizarre occurrences on her own. Meanwhile, Cassandra gets an offer that's difficult to turn down.

  

Episode 15 - And the Hollow Men

While chasing one of the Library's missing artifacts, Flynn is kidnapped by a mysterious stranger with both am-nesia and a collection of all the Library's missing artifacts. Soon all of them are in pursuit of the Staff of Zara-thustra before it falls into the hands of Prospero.

  

Episode 16 - And the Infernal Contract

An old friend of Baird's is running for Mayor of a small New Hampshire town and finds himself embroiled in a scandal in the form of a missing intern and a literal contract with the Devil. Baird soon finds herself in a battle not only for her own soul, but also for the souls of all the Librarians.

  

Episode 17 - And the Image of Image

When people begin suffering the effects of accidents and sins in which they have not actually been involved, the team tracks the connection to the perpetually young Dorian Gray, whose magic now works on selfies.

  

Episode 18 - And the Point of Salvation

The Clipping Book sends the team to a high-tech research facility, where the researchers have been turned into mindless monsters by some bizarre power source in the center's lab. When they disconnect the artifact, however, they find themselves stuck in a time loop.

  

Episode 19 - And the Happily Ever Afters

The team has scattered, all living the ideal versions of their lives. Soon these "strangers" are drawn together to solve a supernatural mystery – the appearance of Ariel, the sprite bound to Prospero's service. Can the Librarians do what no other human has ever been able – turn their backs on their own ultimate happy endings?

  

Episode 20 - And the Final Curtain

The Librarians discover that Prospero's renewed magic is wreaking havoc with the technology of the world. He is recreating an idyllic forest utopia, whether we want one or not. In order to stop him, Flynn and Baird must travel back to 1611, while the rest of the team battles Prospero in the present. Little do they realise that they can only defeat Prospero in each time by finding a way to work together – separated by five centuries.

  

Episode 21 - And the Rise of Chaos

When the Egyptian God of Chaos inhabits a human body, he attempts to release Pure Evil into the world, thus beginning the final battle of Good vs. Evil. In order to stop him, the Librarians must decipher a series of clues within a science museum, including a mysterious warning spoken by exhibit mannequins that have come to life.

  

Episode 22 - And the Fangs of Death

Flynn leads his fellow Librarians on a mission to rescue kidnapped Charlene, unwittingly ensnaring them in a subterranean trap filled with ancient Egyptian werewolves, led by nemesis Apep, who are determined to kill the Librarians once and for all.

  

Episode 23 - And the Reunion of Evil

A routine artifact retrieval is anything but when the artifact grafts itself to Cassandra. Meanwhile a blizzard forces Stone and Cassandra to take shelter at a mysterious hotel that is hosting a demon convention, who want the artifact for themselves.

  

Episode 24 - And the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

After seeing a vision of her own death at the hands of a supernatural assassin, Baird tries to cheat fate and stop the deadly prophecy from coming true.

  

Episode 25 - And the Tears of a Clown

he Librarians investigate a mysterious travelling carnival where they discover the sinister secret of a magician corrupted by the use of real magic.

  

Episode 26 - And the Trial of the Triangle

In order to stop the spread of Pure Evil, the team must find the Eye of Ra and unravel the mystery of The Bermuda Triangle. Flynn must also pass a series of tests that will help him find the eye and reveal a great deal about himself.

  

Episode 27 - And the Curse of Cindy

The obnoxious Cindy Kroger has suddenly become super-popular thanks to a magical love potion. The Librarians must stop her before she launches a love missile that would force the whole world to become her fan base.

  

Episode 28 - And the Eternal Question

A rash of people spontaneously combusting leads the Librarians to a holistic spa run by vampires, who have discovered the secret to walking in the sun.

  

Episode 29 - And the Fatal Separation

When the Monkey King's sacred homeland of Shangri-La is taken over by a ruthless collector of magical artifacts, the balance of the Universe is put in jeopardy, forcing all the Librarians to come together to help save the imperilled land, at what could be a terrible cost.

  

Episode 30 - And the Wrath of Chaos

The Librarians' two-front battle comes to a head when the Library is simultaneously infiltrated by DOSA and Apep. Flynn, Baird, Stone, Cassandra, Ezekiel and Jenkins must all put aside their differences in an attempt to save the Library, the world and themselves.

  

Episode 31 - And the Dark Secret

In Rome, two workers unearth a mysterious ancient map in a church and turn it over to a secret sect of the Vatican known as the Heretic Order of Shadows. Back at the Library, Jenkins is preparing the Librarians for a tethering ceremony rehearsal. Because Charlene and Judson no longer tether the Library to humanity, Flynn and Baird are going to step into their immortal shoes and dedicate themselves as its eternal protectors. The rehearsal, however, is not exactly going as planned: Flynn's late, the other Librarians aren't taking it seriously, and then an ominous tone rings out - one of the four cornerstones to the Library of Alexandria has been unearthed in Niagara Falls.

  

Episode 32 - And the Steal of Fortune

When Stone takes Ezekiel to see an old friend at the racetrack / casino, he's expecting to get away from the headaches associated with being a Librarian. Once Stone and Ezekiel get to the racetrack, however, it quickly starts to feel like they haven't gotten a break from being Librarians at all. When Stone's friend, Slayton, loses his prize racehorse on a bet and is injured in a freak accident, they chalk it up to bad luck. Once they get to the hospital and find that the whole emergency room is full of victims of "freak accidents", all of whom were patrons of the same racetrack / casino, well, this sounds like a job for the Librarians.

  

Episode 33 - And the Christmas Thief

This year, Santa has invited Flynn, Baird, and Jenkins along with him to his well deserved vacation in the Caribbean. He leaves the other Librarians with his sleigh, under the condition that they NOT touch it. With Flynn and Baird gone, Cassandra and Stone prepare to let loose with a "wild" Christmas party - at least as wild as Cassandra can imagine. When they try to involve Ezekiel, however, he's nowhere to be found. Ezekiel's snuck off to visit his family in Australia. The Joneses have their own holiday tradition, an ancient thieves' holiday called Thankstaking Day.

  

Episode 34 - And the Silver Screen

Baird and Flynn take a rare night off to go on a date and head to a revival theatre where one of Baird's favourite film noirs is playing. They're settling into a classic yarn when, they find themselves trapped within the movie! The Librarians wonder where their teammates have gotten off to, and they wind up on the case. Of course, there must be an artifact involved, but first and foremost this is a rescue mission. Stone, Ezekiel, and Cassandra attempt to use the door to get into Baird and Flynn's noir, but it malfunctions and sends them off to B-Movies playing elsewhere in the theatre!

  

Episode 35 - And the Bleeding Crown

A small town turns geriatric overnight. Everyone, from babies on up, is now in their eighties. Just as the Librarians are getting into their investigative groove, however, they run into a Librarian from the past. It's Darrington Dare, the most dashing Librarian of the Victorian era and Flynn's personal hero.

  

Episode 36 - And the Graves of Time

One morning, the Librarians realise that Baird is...missing? Halfway across the world, Baird is in an English mortuary, where she runs into Nicole Noone! Nicole's long years of immortality required her to fake her death every twenty years or so, and she developed a habit of hiding belongings and artifacts she might need again in her old graves. Baird was aware of this habit and used the knowledge to track Nicole down, hoping to bring her back to the Library.

  

Episode 37 - And the Disenchanted Forest

The Librarians are rocked by Flynn's decision to leave, and Baird is worried that their teamwork is suffering. It's music to her ears when the Clippings Book sends the Librarians to a team building summer camp run by a self-help guru. There've been some odd disappearances at the camp, and of course they'll be looking into those, but Baird wouldn't mind if they get some team building in while they're at it. The problem is, every time they do a team building exercise, they're beaten by an oddly efficient group of hedge fund managers.

  

Episode 38 - And the Hidden Sanctuary

Cassandra announces that after some thinking, she's going to take a hiatus from her duties as a Librarian. Baird in particular is hurt by this revelation, but ever since Cassandra froze up during a mission she's been overcome by anxiety regarding the job. When she first signed up, her brain grape was a death sentence, allowing her to take mortal risks without a second thought. Now she's got a new lease on life, but with that comes an instinct for preservation. With that in mind, Cassandra crunched the numbers and found the safest town in America: Havenport.

  

Episode 39 - And a Town Called Feud

A group of Civil War reenactors is in the midst of a mock battle when they find an actual civil war ghost in their midst! The Librarians are called onto the case and head to a town called Feud, right on the Mason-Dixon line. It was recently renamed after evidence was found by the local historian, Janet Hedge, that two brothers, on opposite sides of the war, killed each other in a civil war battle in that town. Since the discovery, the town has become a tourist destination, with Hedge running the local museum. For many years, only one brother's half of the locket, separated and given to them each by their mother, has been displayed, but Hedge has just announced the other half has been found, so she's holding a celebration ceremony.

  

Episode 40 - And Some Dude Named Jeff

The Librarians are about to go off on an exciting adventure. They tell Jenkins to set the Door, but when he does so, instead of Jenkins we see some other guy dressed in his clothes. The other Librarians don't seem to notice. Meanwhile, Jenkins wakes up in a strange bed. He's in some basement and in his closet there's just a bunch of heavy metal T-Shirts? He looks in the mirror and he's shocked! He's switched bodies with some schlub named Jeff.

  

Episode 41 - And the Trial of the One

The day of Tethering has come! Since the beginning of the season, the Librarians have been preparing for one to make the ultimate commitment and become an immortal part of the Library. But with Flynn now gone, the full weight of this decision has truly settled in and none can seem to make that final promise. How can they blindly commit to a Library that imprisoned Nicole unjustly; to an institution that Flynn abandoned; that contains more mysteries than they can even imagine?

  

Episode 42 - And the Echoes of Memory

We're with Flynn, six months earlier, the day he supposedly resigned from the Library. As it turns out, Nicole faked Flynn's resignation and imprisoned him as part of her plot to make the Librarians question their allegiance to the Library. Flash forward then to Baird, as we left her after the events of "And the Trial of the One". She's alone and her memory of the Library fading fast. Struggling to keep The Library alive, she recalls Flynn's technique of a memory palace. She creates her own, holding tightly to specific visuals to lock her visualisation of The Library in place.
