Season 6 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Series 6, Episode 1

The series gets off to an explosive start as Jeremy Clarkson tries to outrun a Challenger tank in a Range Rover Sport. Meanwhile, James and Richard are playing football - with the Toyota Aygo and the Mercedes CLS AMG. There's a look at new family car, the Honda Element. And James Nesbitt is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 2 - Series 6, Episode 2

Is it possible to buy a stylish two-door coupe for under £1500? Jeremy, James and Richard take up the challenge. Maserati's MC12 supercar makes its debut on the Top Gear track. And sharp suited, deadpan comedian Jack Dee is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 3 - Series 6, Episode 3

Jeremy Clarkson makes a splash opening a local swimming pool, Richard Hammond tests Aston Martin's DB9 Volante, and James May goes back to the 70s with the Maserati Bora. Germany and Russia give us their take on a classic British sports car, and Time Lord Christopher Eccleston swaps the Tardis for the Suzuki Liana.

  

Episode 4 - Series 6, Episode 4

Does mother know best? The trio of presenters give their mums a chance to shine in the headlights as they preview a range of small cars, including the Renault Modus, Honda Jazz and Peugeot 1007. Richard Hammond tests the new BMW3 Series as the Cadillac CTS-V takes to the Top Gear track. Iranian comedian, Omid Djalili is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car and we ask how far can a limousine jump?

  

Episode 5 - Series 6, Episode 5

There's a trip back to the Swinging Sixties, when the Aston Martin DB5 and the Jaguar E-Type contributed to the notion of Cool Britannia. Fast-foward to Jeremy attempting to dodge bullets in a Porsche Boxster S and a Mercedes SLK, James driving the new Murano and Nissan 4x4, and Richard unveiling the team's take an armoured car. And former Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 6 - Series 6, Episode 6

Can a boat beat a car? With Jeremy in the Mercedes McLaren SLR and Richard and James on a boat, who will make it from London to Oslo first? The Aston Martin DB9 graces the Top Gear track, and broadcaster David Dimbleby puts in a respectable lap as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 7 - Series 6, Episode 7

Which is faster - man or machine? The Top Gear team aim to find out. TVR's Sagaris takes to the track, the Ford Transit van celebrates a landmark birthday and James May continues his search for the best driving song of all time. Justin Hawkins of The Darkness is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 8 - Series 6, Episode 8

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May head for Iceland with a trio of convertibles - the Audi TT, Nissan 350Z and Chrysler Crossfire. There's a look at the new Ferrari F430, and lyricist Sir Tim Rice is the Star in a Reasonbly Priced Car.

  

Episode 9 - Series 6, Episode 9

Jeremy Clarkson gives his verdict on BMW's new M5, while Richard Hammond and James May try their hand at Russian-roulette road-testing. Plus there's a quest to find the hottest hatchback as the Renault Megane, Vauxhall Astra VXR and Golf come under the spotlight and Chris Evans takes to the track as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 10 - Series 6, Episode 10

How does the BMW 5 Series diesel measure up against a petrol version of the same marque, and can a 4x4 drive across a lake? Plus the latest off-road toys, the world's fastest four door saloon - the Bentley Flying Spur - and Big Brother's Davina McCall is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  

Episode 11 - Series 6, Episode 11

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May round off the series by asking the question, does driving a Lambourghini Murcielago roadster give you the same kick as 12 angry bulls? The world's greatest power sliders grace the Top Gear track, and there's a look at the Ford F150 SVT Lightning pick-up.
