Episode 1 - Pilot

In the series premiere, polygamist Bill Henrickson tries to satisfy the emotional, romantic and financial needs of his three wives and seven children in suburban Salt Lake City. Episode 6 - Roberta's Funeral

Bill heads to Juniper Creek to attend the funeral of his father's first wife Roberta, and to make Roman a settlement proposal he may or may not be able to refuse. Lois sees Roberta's demise as an opportunity to rise to First Wife. Meanwhile, Barb bails Nicki out of a jam at Home Plus, and Ben ponders whether he should follow in his father's footsteps.

Barb gets an unwanted visit from her sister Cindy, who disapproves of the family's lifestyle. Meanwhile, as his feud with Roman intensifies, Bill seeks to infiltrate the UEB Priesthood Council. Ben gives Brynn a token of his affection, and is offered a much more significant one in return. A depressed Margene is transformed at Teenie's baptism.

  

Episode 11 - Season 1, Episode 11: Where There's a Will

The Henricksons' public stock is rising, as Barb finds herself a finalist for Mother of the Year and Bill is asked to become the newest member of the Salt Lake City Leadership League. Meanwhile, the three wives mull over custody scenarios in their separate wills, but are chastened for their subterfuge when Hatcher tells Bill.

  

Episode 11 - Where There's a Will

The Henricksons' public stock is rising, as Barb finds herself a finalist for Mother of the Year and Bill is asked to become the newest member of the Salt Lake City Leadership League. Meanwhile, the three wives mull over custody scenarios in their separate wills, but are chastened for their subterfuge when Hatcher tells Bill.

  

Episode 12 - The Ceremony

In the Season One finale, Bill and Joey blindside Roman at a UEB Priesthood Council meeting--but will their triumph be short-lived? Episode 13 - Season 2, Episode 1: Damage Control

Season Two premiere. In the aftermath of her 'Mother of the Year' exposure at the Governor's mansion, Barb retreats into her own world, leaving Nicki and Margene to take up the slack. Hell-bent on learning who betrayed the family, Bill gathers evidence against Home Plus employee Wendy, and gives Don an ultimatum to get rid of her. Having nearly succumbed to Wanda's poisoning, Alby urges Roman to take revenge against Joey and Bill. Continuing to track suspects, Bill makes dinner plans with neighbors Carl and Pam Martin, but Barb wants no part in the evening. Meanwhile, Wanda faces an inquisition at Juniper Creek, and Joey feels the squeeze from Roman, despite Bill's assurances that Roman will drop his charges in the wake of a state investigation. At home, Sarah meets an older suitor named Scott at an ex-Mormon meeting.

  

Episode 14 - Season 2, Episode 2: The Writing on the Wall

Home Plus billboards have been defaced, leading Bill and Don to scramble for repairs and a rethinking of Bill's public face on Home Plus. When Barb registers for college courses, her check bounces; the culprit turns out to be Nicki. At Juniper Creek, Joey finds himself caught between a rock and a hard place, driving him to fall off the wagon and sending Nicki (accompanied by Margene) on a remedial trip to the compound. Rebuked by Roman, Alby looks to settle his vendetta by approaching the D.A.'s office. Now working at Home Plus, Ben comes clean to Brynn about his family, while Sarah is caught in a lie with Scott. In the midst of crises, Bill and Barb forget Nicki's anniversary, and Joey makes a decision that will have far-ranging implications.

  

Episode 15 - Season 2, Episode 3: Reunion

Bill and Nicki drive to Juniper Creek for a family reunion--and a council vote that Bill hopes to leverage against Roman in the case against Joey. Arriving at Lois's cabin, they are surprised to find her brother Eddie in residence, overseeing Lois's new laundromat investment. At home, Barb catches Ben in a compromising position with Margene, and Sarah later catches him in an even more compromising one with Brynn. Ashamed, Ben considers pledging himself to Straight Edge, a group of hard-liners. Margene decides to call Cindy about Barb, but ends up complicating their estrangement when Cindy changes her phone number. At the compound, Alby refuses to toe the party line; his actions result in Nicki and Bill cutting short their visit just as a family group photo is about to be taken. Rhonda pledges herself to Roman, but ends up having second thoughts. Back home, Bill discusses a radical, polygamy-proof business option with Don.

  

Episode 16 - Season 2, Episode 4: Rock and a Hard Place

Bill's anxieties over his upcoming testimony in Joey's case are compounded by the presence of Rhonda, who threatens to blackmail Nicki into letting her stay with the Henricksons. Suspicious that Nicki and Bill orchestrated Rhonda's disappearance, Roman sends a couple of Juniper Creek cops to the Henricksons with a warrant, but Don helps ferry the girl to safety. Looking to provide long-term security for his family in the face of an uncertain future, Bill, along with Don and Eddie, meets with Carter Reese, owner of a polygamy-friendly slot-machine business. Ben and Brynn celebrate their three-month anniversary with Margene; Sarah tries to get Heather to go out to a non-date movie with Scott; Barb contemplates an offer from a child advocate; Lois looks to end Joey's persecution by putting a crazy idea into Wanda's head; and Margene invents a new confession to tell Pam.

  

Episode 17 - Season 2, Episode 5: Vision Thing

Discussing his sideline business with Don over lunch at a local diner, Bill finds himself drawn to an attractive young waitress named Ana. Nicki worries over Wayne's enrollment at a Catholic school (which allows Bill and her to be a 'public' couple) after finding him playing with rosary beads. At Home Plus, Bill finds his deal with Weber Gaming jeopardized by Reese's impatience and must turn to his uncle Eddie for a loan. Showing up at Sarah's restaurant after a week on the streets, Rhonda gets her cousin to agree to harbor her at Jordan's and, later, Scott's. Joey turns to Barb to help get Wanda out of the hospital, then finds himself courted by a recently widowed sister-wife named Kathy. The family panics after Wayne, unhappy with Nicki's home-schooling, disappears.

  

Episode 18 - Season 2, Episode 6: Dating Game

Having uncovered Bill's romantic secret, Margene befriends an unsuspecting Ana, then arranges lunch with (the unequally unsuspecting) Barb and Nicki at the diner to introduce them to their prospective sister-wife. Having found a welcoming home at Heather's, Rhonda becomes the focus of media attention by agreeing to an interview with ex-polygamist April Blessing--to Nicki's chagrin. Bill tries to get a reluctant Don to embrace his Weber Gaming deal; later, he discusses his attraction to Ana with several fellow polygamists. The Henrickson's new boat gets burned, as does Carter Reese; Ben uses his new driver's license to visit an old confidante; Bill discovers that an underground polygamist group, the Greenes, have resurfaced with a vengeance.

  

Episode 19 - Season 2, Episode 7: Good Guys and Bad Guys

Margene's dysfunctional past is illuminated when her mother Ginger pays a visit to the Henricksons. After the truth about her marriage is revealed, Margene is shocked when Ginger turns her back on her--and embraces Nicki instead. Meanwhile, Lois is shocked when Frank returns from his exile to lay claim on her fortune, proving he's not yet given up on blackmail and bullying tactics. With tensions at a fever pitch as federal agents close in on the fugitive polygamist leader Orlean Abbot, Bill plays a dangerous end-game to land Weber Gaming, pitting Roman against the Greenes and vice-versa. To save Bill from added stress, Barb agrees to collect a discharged Wanda from the hospital, but must spend an unsettling night at the compound waiting for Joey's return. Sarah's boyfriend Scott comes forward to tell Bill about Alby's stalking, sending Bill into a rage. Barb stands up to Roman, who calls an emergency UEB board meeting in the wake of the most recent power play by the Greenes.

  

Episode 20 - Season 2, Episode 8: Kingdom Come

Stressed out from the Weber deal and exhausted by Margene's sexual appetite, Bill proposes that he take a night off from the wives every seventh day. The proposal is met with resistance, especially from Barb, but Nicki and Margene aren't sure they want to join in a unified 'cold-shoulder' campaign to get Bill to reconsider. At the compound, Frank discovers Lois's valuable pea stash and holds the money hostage until Lois tells how she got the loot. At home, Bill and Barb are shocked to learn of Ben's 'deviant' behavior with Brynn, but differ on the best way to treat it. With the Weber deal still in doubt, Bill continues to play both sides of the inter-compound dispute, hoping to incite Roman to take retaliatory measures that will finish off the Greenes. Armed with new information about Eddie's windfall, Frank pays Bill a visit at Home Plus in an effort to blackmail him, receiving a rude send-off in return. Bill attempts to bring Ben into the fold by conferring the priesthood on him.

  

Episode 21 - Season 2, Episode 9: Circle the Wagons

Bill enlists Nicki to sell Barb and Margene on Weber Gaming, with predictable results. In the wake of the latest public blemish on Juniper Creek, Bill calls an emergency UEB meeting that Alby ends up crashing. Burned by Frank, a distraught Lois fights to get back into Bill's good graces, and turns to an unexpected source for advice. Margene is unsettled after running into an old co-worker at Home Plus, as is Ben. Nicki tries to gift her way into the compound, but is miffed when Adaleen freezes her out. After confronting Sarah about her 'moral ambiguity,' Barb tries to get Heather back into her daughter's life. With Margene holding the swing vote on Weber, Bill decides to take his wives to see for themselves how the 'other half' lives. Rhonda finds another way to make herself the center of attention; Alby steps forward to 'channel' Roman in his hour of need; Nicki takes advantage of a deal from Alby; and Lois decides to hit Frank where it hurts.

  

Episode 22 - Season 2, Episode 10: The Happiest Girl

Rebuffed by Barb, Bill asks Margene to accompany him to a Bar Owner's trade convention. Alby realizes that Juniper Creek has been robbed, and thinks he knows by whom. Nicki tries to orchestrate a celebration at Juniper Creek, but ends up moving it to her house when Alby objects. After running into an old acquaintance at the convention, Bill is forced to summon Barb to bail him out, turning Margene from public wife to pariah. Scolded by Barb for violating his grounding, Ben meets a couple of twins with long-term potential. Rhonda hits a new low in blackmailing Sarah; Lois serves her husband at the gas station; Roman returns to Juniper Creek; Frank aligns himself with Alby in an effort to procure a new wife; Nicki lets the cat out of the bag, to Bill's chagrin.

  

Episode 23 - Season 2, Episode 11: Take Me As I Am

Liberated by his trip to the convention, Bill makes Alby a tempting offer in the wake of Nicki's disclosure about Weber Gaming. Barb learns that her mother Nancy is getting remarried, and decides to use the occasion to try to make peace with her estranged family--and provide traditional guidance to Ben. Scott tests the limits of his relationship with Sarah, precipitating a visit from Bill. Pam makes Margene a proposition; Alby takes a personal interest in Roman's rehabilitation; Nicki despairs over the 'corrosive influences' on the Henricksons, and gets an ultimatum from Alby; Bill faces a new threat from Hollis Greene.

  

Episode 24 - Season 2, Episode 12: Oh, Pioneers

Foiled by Alby in his attempt to gain UEB support, Bill resorts to a new tack to try to bring down his nemeses. Preparing for the festivities surrounding Salt Lake City's Pioneer Week parade, the Henricksons are rocked by the appearance of an unexpected guest. Margene comes clean to Ana about her relationship with 'Phil' and then takes up her cause with her sisterwives--and Bill. Sarah and Heather attempt to get Ben to change directions; Bill ignores Lois's pleas to take a leadership role at Juniper Creek; Margene lobbies for more control in the family, and in her life; Barb sets Pam straight. After Bill makes his end move in the game to control Weber Gaming, Alby shocks Roman with a power play of his own.

  

Episode 25 - Season 3, Episode 1: Block Party

Season Three premiere. Bill tries to convince Jerry Flute, a native-American businessman, to partner with him in a Mormon-friendly casino outside of Salt Lake City, and finds a surprisingly effective ally in Margene. With Roman in jail and incensed at Alby for betraying him, Nicki decides to temp at the DA's office to hunt down state's evidence for Adeleen. After learning she may have a cancer recurrence, Barb warms to the idea of Ana joining the family, though the waitress is resistant to the family's overtures. Meanwhile, Frank's teenaged son Frankie ends up on Bill's doorstep after his father throws him to the curb. Sarah shatters Heather's dream of attending the same local college. Roughed up in a bathroom, Alby becomes suspicious of Bill and, later, Adeleen. An annual block party becomes the battleground for Bill to defend the family against neighborhood gossip, and for Nicki to defend her lifestyle as the daughter of Roman Grant.

  

Episode 26 - Season 3, Episode 2: Empire

Bill and his family test out the group-dating waters with Ana, with mixed results. Bill presses ahead with his unlikely courtship of Jerry Flute, despite a sizable expense, a crisis in Don's family, and an apparent gaffe by Margene. Barb anxiously awaits test results from the hospital, while Nicki goes to a fertility clinic already knowing the result. Scott encounters unexpected resistance from Sarah when he offers to join her in Arizona. Roman puts the squeeze on Bill in an attempt to track down Rhonda, one of his would-be accusers. Frankie reveals a side few expected when he takes Sarah and her friends to a crash pad for young wayward polygamists. Frank visits Lois with new sisterwife Jodean/Kathy, and ends up staying longer than expected.

  

Episode 27 - Season 3, Episode 3: Prom Queen

As Bill debates what to do with Rhonda, who may or may not testify at Roman's impending trial, another potential witness, Kathy, goes underground with Joey and Wanda. Frank finds himself in a bind and at Lois' mercy, and tries to talk his way out of the predicament, though she is not moved. A revelation from Ana tests Bill's commitment, especially when he and Barb catch her in a compromising position. Margene gets disturbing personal news, but keeps her emotions in check. Barb's sister Cindy is back in town and heading up an anti-gaming committee that threatens the Henrickson's recent investments. Wanda spills a secret about Nicki's past that even Bill doesn't know, creating an instant riff and further fanning Bill's ire towards Roman. Sarah decides to attend her senior prom with Heather, with Ben and Frankie as their dates.

  

Episode 28 - Season 3, Episode 4: On Trial

With Roman's trial looming, Nicki struggles with her devotion to her father and commitment to Bill, who is urging the DA to offer protective custody to witnesses Kathy and Rhonda. In an attempt to get Alby to break ranks with Roman, Bill offers up an olive branch to Alby, who is understandably skeptical. On the lam from Juniper Creek henchmen, a desperate Lois turns to Bill for refuge, if not relief. Worried about the family finances, Barb hits up her mother Nancy for a handout. An agitated Sarah considers her prospects, rejecting the opinion of brother Ben. Adaleen tracks down Rhonda, offering her some compelling reasons not to testify at Roman's trial. Margene takes on a new look in the aftermath of her mother's death. Bill startles Ana, and Nancy, with a bold proposal that could change the face of his family forever. Roman finally has his day in court, with his guilt or innocence hinging on the testimony of Kathy and her twin sister, Jodean.

  

Episode 29 - Season 3, Episode 5: For Better or For Worse

Barb, Nicki and Margene bicker over living arrangements in the wake of the Henrickson's recent expansion. In an effort to track down Franky's mother, Sarah, Ben, Heather and Franky make a dangerous foray into the heart of Juniper Creek, where Alby has been clamping down with his "God Squads." Roman summons his children to his motel, offering up thinly veiled threats to the compound's hierarchy. Faced with daunting news in his effort to get a bank loan to pay for his casino venture, Bill plays hardball with brother-in-law Ted, a connected businessman who covets a valuable historical document in Alby's possession. Nicki considers a return to her job with the D.A., for perhaps the wrong reasons.

  

Episode 30 - Season 3, Episode 6: Come, Ye Saints

The Henricksons embark on a 2,500-mile road-trip pilgrimage to a Joseph Smith shrine in Cumorah, NY, where Bill intends to bury a family time capsule in the sacred earth. Along the way, a series of jarring revelations test the limits of their family bonds--and Bill's faith.

  

Episode 31 - Season 3, Episode 7: Fight or Flight

Treading on dangerous ground at home and at work, Nicki endures a domestic 'intervention' by Bill and Barb, followed by an unwelcome office visit by Margene. At Juniper Creek, Glory, angry at being usurped by Lura and shunned by Alby, smuggles a copy of a potentially incendiary church document to Bill, who isn't sure how to handle the discovery. Meanwhile, Joey looks to make a major life change by adding Kathy as a second wife, but Roman and Hollis Greene have other plans.

  

Episode 32 - Season 3, Episode 8: Rough Edges

Bill urges the DA's office to bring a murder charge against Roman, but Ray Henry is distracted by news about Nicki. Bill sends Don on a road trip to investigate a tribal grudge involving the casino, but learns the license hold-up may be due in fact to his brother-in-law Ted--and the church document he bought from Alby. Having reclaimed her identity from Nicki, Margene decides to launch a start-up business selling bracelets. Nicki seeks refuge in her past; Sarah struggles to map out her future; Bill has a close call with the Greenes.

  

Episode 33 - Season 3, Episode 9: Outer Darkness

Buoyed by a visit from Barb and Margene, Nicki returns home after getting a call from Bill, but her spirits sag when his intentions become clear. Exposed by Cindy and Ted, Barb faces a wrenching excommunication hearing at her old church. Wanda performs a makeover on Jodean that has Joey seeing double. Scott shows up at the Henricksons and reconnects with Sarah, though not with Ben or Bill. Ted throws Bill a curveball by demanding a piece of the casino project he undermined. A kidnapping involving the Greenes leads Bill to reconsider his hard-line position on Roman, to Joey's shock and outrage.

  

Episode 34 - Season 3, Episode 10: Sacrament

In the Season Three finale, Bill convinces Ray Henry to endorse his plan to rescue a kidnapping victim while bringing down the Greenes and Roman, but the Prophet ends up changing the rules. Nicki's web of secrets gets more tangled when a surprise visitor pays her a visit at the compound. Worried about Barb's emotional state, and eyeing a resolution of the casino stalemate, Bill makes an endowment deal that leaves Ted speechless. Alby hatches a deadly plot to consolidate his power; Margene makes the most of her opportunity as a TV pitchwoman; and Sarah shocks the family with a surprise announcement.

  

Episode 35 - Season 4, Episode 1: Free At Last

Season Four premiere. With the grand opening of the Blackfoot Magic Casino only days away, the Henricksons make last-minute preparations under the skeptical eye of Tommy Flute, son of Bill's partner Jerry. As the feds probe the whereabouts of Roman Grant, Alby has a close encounter with Dale Tomasson, the state-appointed trustee of Juniper Creek's assets. At the compound, Adaleen shares a shocking secret with Nicki, who's under fire for opening a new bank account for Roman. Though her home-shopping business is thriving, Margie makes an on-air slip-up that prompts her boss Beverly to voice concerns about possible burnout. Worried for her safety, Lois offers Frank a piece of her fledgling bird-purveying business. Bill and Nicki's smarmy ex, J.J. Walker, work out an arrangement allowing Cara Lynn to stay at the Henrickson's while attending high school during the week. Ben lands a gig with his Christian rock band and ends up being called into backup duty for another.

  

Episode 36 - Season 4, Episode 2: The Greater Good

Ignoring pleas from Nicki to become Juniper Creek's next prophet, Bill contemplates running for the vacant Utah State Senate seat against an ardent polygamy foe, Roy Coburn. Joey and Wanda return to Juniper Creek, but a suspicious J.J. is lurking. Sarah and Scott decide to forgo a wedding in Bill's church in favor of a civil ceremony, shocking Barb, who nevertheless takes steps with Bill to be re-admitted to the church that excommunicated them. J.J., making his mark in a UEB satellite compound in Kansas, has a contentious dinner at the Henrickson's with his cancer-ridden wife Malinda. Margene confronts Nicki about her feelings for Ray Henry, who's moving away after losing his case. A reform-minded Dale tries to keep Alby at bay, to little avail.

  

Episode 37 - Season 4, Episode 3: Strange Bedfellows

Bill, Nicki and Cara Lynn travel to Washington, D.C., where Bill tries to land an endorsement from Congressman Clark Paley while repairing his relationship with Nicki. First, however, he has to get past a fund-raising faux-pas he made at the expense of Paley's chief lobbyist, Marilyn Densham. Back in Utah, Margene and her 'Hearts on a Sleeve' line go prime-time, but her on-air triumph is tempered by a case of mistaken identity. Joined by Sarah, Barb leads a series of seminars on sensitivity training at the casino. Fearing that Wanda spilled the beans to J.J., Joey goes to extremes to safeguard their dirty secret. Barb and Sarah hit a young Native American woman with their car, prompting Sarah to personally compensate the victim and her baby. Even as his affection for Dale deepens, Alby is tormented by visions of the absent Prophet.

  

Episode 38 - Season 4, Episode 4: The Mighty and Strong

Pressed by Coburn to state his intentions, Bill gets his family to stage an elaborate rally announcing his candidacy. Surviving an INS raid targeted at illegals working at Home Plus, Bill isn't so lucky when an audit uncovers insurance discrepancies caused by his multiple wives. To protect his secret and save his candidacy, he ends up asking Don to take the fall, and moves up his announcement by three days. J.J. approaches Alby with a partial solution on how to dispose of a 'flock cast adrift,' flummoxing Nicki. Lois and Frank survive a border scare to score a new shipment of birds, but Jodean sabotages the couple's dreams of profits. Sarah gets a taste of motherhood, albeit with someone else's child. Alby is tormented by his inner Roman, and torn by what he sees as Dale's betrayal. Troubled by Tancy's surprising revelation about Margene and Ben, Bill decides that a change of scene might be best for his firstborn son.

  

Episode 39 - Season 4, Episode 5: Sins of the Father

Bill pulls out all the stops in his efforts to win Paley's support for the State Senate nomination, while Nicki continues in her role as his campaign's 'secret weapon.' Margene gets the cold shoulder from both Bill and Barb because of the incident with Ben. Marilyn makes a pitch to represent the casino's interests in Washington, but encounters resistance from Tommy. Frank picks an inopportune moment to drop by the casino with Lois and Jodean, precipitating a melee involving Joey. Bill absorbs a last-minute sucker punch from Coburn, but turns the tide by embracing the Lost Boy in himself.

  

Episode 40 - Season 4, Episode 6: Under One Roof

Ana resurfaces with a surprise revelation that shakes up the family, with Bill voicing concern about her ulterior motives. Bill tries to get Tommy and Jerry to rebrand the casino and expand its advertising into Idaho, while Marilyn makes yet another impressive pitch to represent the business in Washington. Lois and Frank take Ben and Jodean south of the border to visit a bird vender named Don Dona, at their collective peril. Nicki is infuriated when she learns of Alby's full intentions at the upcoming sealing of J.J. and Adeleen. Margene worries about the impact of Bill's future outing on her booming business. Confronted by Bill about his relationship with Alby, Dale seeks advice and inspiration from church elders before taking matters into his own hands. With a flourish, Bill shows his wives the family's collective future.

  

Episode 41 - Season 4, Episode 7: Blood Atonement

With a revenge-minded Joey in tow, Bill makes an emergency trip to Mexico after Lois and Frank's latest smuggling escapade backfires. Nicki is jolted by a doctor's news, but even more flummoxed by Adaleen's shocking revelation. Margene offers up a novel remedy to keep Ana from leaving the country with her fiance, Goran. After a bomb scare rocks the casino, Barb and Tommy look for culprits--and find some disturbing answers in Scotland.

  

Episode 42 - Season 4, Episode 8: Next Ticket Out

Sarah makes an announcement that shakes up the family. Nicki makes some changes in an all-out attempt to be the woman Bill wants her to be. Margene is put on the defensive when Bill questions her real reasons for getting married. An ill-timed remark at a ladies-only event puts Barb in an unwanted spotlight as Bill's campaign winds down. Exposed for her collusions, Marilyn looks to bring down Bill through his association with Margene. A suspicious Bill looks for clues about J.J. in Kansas, while Adaleen finds them closer to home.

  

Episode 43 - Season 4, Episode 9: End of Days

Season Four finale. With the State Senate election only days away, Bill puts the squeeze on Paley in an attempt to protect his candidacy. But Marilyn has an ace up her sleeve that threatens to wreck Bill's chances...or so it seems. At the casino, Jerry and Tom's tribe leadership is jeopardized by the illegal actions of some family members. Caught in a tangled family web, Margene weighs her allegiance for Bill with her desire to keep Ana and Goran in her life. Desperate to get pregnant, Nicki gets news from Dr. Roquet Walker (J.J.'s son) that seems too good to be true. A late-breaking polygamist scandal in Kansas becomes national news, forcing Bill and his three wives to rethink their bold post-election plans.

  

Episode 44 - Season 5, Episode 1: Winter

Season Five Premiere. After some restful post-election days in the wilderness, reality hits the Henricksons hard on their return to Salt Lake City. At Home Plus, Bill's attempts to bolster morale in the wake of his polygamist revelation fall on mostly deaf ears. On Capitol Hill, he faces an uphill battle for his political life, even before he has been sworn in. And at home, Bill tries to assuage some very real concerns of his wives and kids, who face both psychological and physical threats around town. To stem this growing tide of ill will, Bill decides to hold an open house for some 40,000 constituents, some of whom may actually show up. Meanwhile, Alby returns from his own desert exile with a newfound desire to 'purify' the compound, and exact vengeance on Bill.

  

Episode 45 - Season 5, Episode 2: A Seat at the Table

Already under fire on Capitol Hill, Bill's attempt to stage a 'safety net' meeting for polygamist leaders is hindered by Alby and Home Plus objectors. In an effort to find common ground with her mother, Barb asks Nancy to join her at a symposium focusing on mother-daughter Mormon challenges. Nicki learns the extent of Adaleen's isolation; Marge despairs over the quandary involving Ana and Goran; Cara Lynn impresses her math teacher, and Greg.

  

Episode 46 - Season 5, Episode 3: Certain Poor Shepherds

The Henricksons try to put on a unified face during Christmas, but the family is tested amidst numbing revelations from Barb, Marge and Adaleen. Meanwhile, Lura takes drastic measures in response to Alby's zealous efforts to 'purify' the compound; Lois drifts towards the deep end; Bill tries to soften up a senator; Ben bonds with Heather; and Cara Lynn looks for answers about her father.

  

Episode 47 - Season 5, Episode 4: The Oath

With his swearing-in ceremony only days away, Bill searches for ways to overcome the anti-polygamist sentiment swelling among State officials. Meanwhile, Barb's strategic attendance at a First Ladies fashion show triggers lingering resentment between Nicki and Margene--and between Barb and Nicki. Rhonda and exiled polygamist Verlan try to shake down Alby; Margene and Pam find their niche with Goji Blast and Michael Sainte; Nicki pushes for Cara Lynn's adoption; Lois learns the source of her ailment; Ben rewards Heather for her sensitivity.

  

Episode 48 - Season 5, Episode 5: The Special Relationship

Bill makes a deal in the Senate, but finds new obstacles to his livelihood being raised by LDS officials. Fed up with interning, Barb considers a dramatic life change that could have far-ranging consequences for the family. A legal obstacle hinders Bill and Nicki's efforts to adopt Cara Lynn. Margene preaches the Goji gospel; Rhonda encourages Verlan to do Alby's bidding; Lois longs for her old life with Frank; Don takes another hit for Bill.

  

Episode 49 - Season 5, Episode 6: D.I.V.O.R.C.E.

Barb capitulates on Bill's marital plans, but not on her hopes to attain the Priesthood. To shore up her case, she enlists an ex-Mormon feminist named Renee Clayton, much to her mother Nancy's chagrin. Meanwhile, Bill faces new impeachment pressure in the Senate, and scrambles for new clients in the wake of LDS boycotts of his stores. With her eye on a new prize, Nicki chafes at the status quo. Margene eyes a sponsor for her pro-polygamy children's rally; Cara Lynn puts in extra hours with her tutor, Greg; Alby vows to combat Safety Net with a purification program of his own; Bud Mayberry warns Bill of an imminent threat. Reunited by Bill, Frank and Lois strike a deal; Heather makes a decision that deflates a vulnerable Ben.

  

Episode 50 - Season 5, Episode 7: Til Death Do Us Part

Bill eyes a wedding as a chance to reseal his commitment to his three wives, though Barb remains skeptical. Nicki, in the meantime, looks to take full advantage of her special day. Alby makes a game-changing power play; Lois resists Barb's vision of her future; Marge is cautioned about the financial pitfalls of Goji Blast; Cara Lynn brings a guest to the theatre; Heather changes her mind about Ben.

  

Episode 51 - Season 5, Episode 8: The Noose Tightens

Bill looks to Alby's past in an effort to thwart his ambitions, leading Alby to concoct yet another diabolical scheme to bring down the Henricksons. Meanwhile, in the wake of a festering investigation into Bill's private life, an incredulous Barb finds herself targeted as her husband's accomplice. Nicki's 'rescue' of a skittish compound wife complicates life at home, and lands her in hot water at Juniper Creek. Stung by an assertion by Michael Sainte, Margene finds herself at the crossroads in her business with Goji Blast. Don suffers emotional aftershocks that could have a lasting impact on Home Plus; Cara Lynn's secret leaks out; Heather apologizes for spilling the beans about Margene.

  

Episode 52 - Season 5, Episode 9: Exorcism

With Alby on the run and posing an imminent threat, the Henrickson family finds itself in lockdown mode. Frazzled though not incapacitated after a near-death experience, Nicki decides to break Cara Lynn's 'dependencies' by enrolling her in a boarding school. Barb spars with Bill about her new church's stance on polygamy, and her commitment to the family. Lois begs Frank to rescue her from confinement; Margene vows to repay Pam for her Goji investment; Ben and Bill debate what to do about Rhonda.

  

Episode 53 - Season 5, Episode 10: When Men and Mountains Meet

Series Finale. With the specter of jail time looming, Bill charts out contingency plans for the family, while orchestrating a last-minute, pre-emptive referendum on the Senate floor. Meanwhile, Barb goes forward with her plan to join a reform-minded church; Margene contemplates taking a hiatus to serve as a volunteer abroad; and Nicki despairs being left alone as her family splinters. Cara Lynn considers a return to her roots; Ben enlists Rhonda to help him win over Heather; Don shares some bad news with Bill about Home Plus. As Easter arrives, the Henricksons receive heartening support from their polygamist constituents, briefly lifting the dark cloud that's been hovering over the family since Bill's election. Finally, an unexpected vision leads Bill to a final confrontation with his most deeply held beliefs--and brings 'Big Love' to a shocking and unforgettable conclusion.
