Episode 1 - Damage Control

Season Two premiere. In the aftermath of her 'Mother of the Year' exposure at the Governor's mansion, Barb retreats into her own world, leaving Nicki and Margene to take up the slack. Hell-bent on learning who betrayed the family, Bill gathers evidence against Home Plus employee Wendy, and gives Don an ultimatum to get rid of her. Having nearly succumbed to Wanda's poisoning, Alby urges Roman to take revenge against Joey and Bill. Continuing to track suspects, Bill makes dinner plans with neighbors Carl and Pam Martin, but Barb wants no part in the evening. Meanwhile, Wanda faces an inquisition at Juniper Creek, and Joey feels the squeeze from Roman, despite Bill's assurances that Roman will drop his charges in the wake of a state investigation. At home, Sarah meets an older suitor named Scott at an ex-Mormon meeting.

Episode 2 - The Writing On the Wall

Home Plus billboards have been defaced, leading Bill and Don to scramble for repairs and a rethinking of Bill's public face on Home Plus. When Barb registers for college courses, her check bounces; the culprit turns out to be Nicki. At Juniper Creek, Joey finds himself caught between a rock and a hard place, driving him to fall off the wagon and sending Nicki (accompanied by Margene) on a remedial trip to the compound. Rebuked by Roman, Alby looks to settle his vendetta by approaching the D.A.'s office. Now working at Home Plus, Ben comes clean to Brynn about his family, while Sarah is caught in a lie with Scott. In the midst of crises, Bill and Barb forget Nicki's anniversary, and Joey makes a decision that will have far-ranging implications.

Episode 3 - Reunion

Bill and Nicki drive to Juniper Creek for a family reunion--and a council vote that Bill hopes to leverage against Roman in the case against Joey. Arriving at Lois's cabin, they are surprised to find her brother Eddie in residence, overseeing Lois's new laundromat investment. At home, Barb catches Ben in a compromising position with Margene, and Sarah later catches him in an even more compromising one with Brynn. Ashamed, Ben considers pledging himself to Straight Edge, a group of hard-liners. Margene decides to call Cindy about Barb, but ends up complicating their estrangement when Cindy changes her phone number. At the compound, Alby refuses to toe the party line; his actions result in Nicki and Bill cutting short their visit just as a family group photo is about to be taken. Rhonda pledges herself to Roman, but ends up having second thoughts. Back home, Bill discusses a radical, polygamy-proof business option with Don.

Episode 4 - Rock and a Hard Place

Bill's anxieties over his upcoming testimony in Joey's case are compounded by the presence of Rhonda, who threatens to blackmail Nicki into letting her stay with the Henricksons. Suspicious that Nicki and Bill orchestrated Rhonda's disappearance, Roman sends a couple of Juniper Creek cops to the Henricksons with a warrant, but Don helps ferry the girl to safety. Looking to provide long-term security for his family in the face of an uncertain future, Bill, along with Don and Eddie, meets with Carter Reese, owner of a polygamy-friendly slot-machine business. Ben and Brynn celebrate their three-month anniversary with Margene; Sarah tries to get Heather to go out to a non-date movie with Scott; Barb contemplates an offer from a child advocate; Lois looks to end Joey's persecution by putting a crazy idea into Wanda's head; and Margene invents a new confession to tell Pam.

Episode 5 - Vision Thing

Discussing his sideline business with Don over lunch at a local diner, Bill finds himself drawn to an attractive young waitress named Ana. Nicki worries over Wayne's enrollment at a Catholic school (which allows Bill and her to be a 'public' couple) after finding him playing with rosary beads. At Home Plus, Bill finds his deal with Weber Gaming jeopardized by Reese's impatience and must turn to his uncle Eddie for a loan. Showing up at Sarah's restaurant after a week on the streets, Rhonda gets her cousin to agree to harbor her at Jordan's and, later, Scott's. Joey turns to Barb to help get Wanda out of the hospital, then finds himself courted by a recently widowed sister-wife named Kathy. The family panics after Wayne, unhappy with Nicki's home-schooling, disappears.

Episode 6 - Dating Game

Having uncovered Bill's romantic secret, Margene befriends an unsuspecting Ana, then arranges lunch with (the unequally unsuspecting) Barb and Nicki at the diner to introduce them to their prospective sister-wife. Having found a welcoming home at Heather's, Rhonda becomes the focus of media attention by agreeing to an interview with ex-polygamist April Blessing--to Nicki's chagrin. Bill tries to get a reluctant Don to embrace his Weber Gaming deal; later, he discusses his attraction to Ana with several fellow polygamists. The Henrickson's new boat gets burned, as does Carter Reese; Ben uses his new driver's license to visit an old confidante; Bill discovers that an underground polygamist group, the Greenes, have resurfaced with a vengeance.

Episode 7 - Good Guys and Bad Guys

Margene's dysfunctional past is illuminated when her mother Ginger pays a visit to the Henricksons. After the truth about her marriage is revealed, Margene is shocked when Ginger turns her back on her--and embraces Nicki instead. At the Juniper Creek compound, Lois is shocked when Frank returns from his exile to lay claim on her fortune, proving he's not yet given up on blackmail and bullying tactics. With tensions at a fever pitch as federal agents close in on the fugitive polygamist leader Orlean Abbot, Bill plays a dangerous end-game to land Weber Gaming, pitting Roman against the Greenes and vice-versa. To save Bill from added stress, Barb agrees to collect a discharged Wanda from the hospital, but must spend an unsettling night at the compound waiting for Joey's return. Sarah's boyfriend Scott comes forward to tell Bill about Alby's stalking, sending Bill into a rage. Barb stands up to Roman, who calls an emergency UEB board meeting in the wake of the most recent power play by the Greenes.

Episode 8 - Kingdom Come

Stressed out from the Weber deal and exhausted by Margene's sexual appetite, Bill proposes that he take a night off from the wives every seventh day. The proposal is met with resistance, especially from Barb, who has already seen her nights dwindle with each new wife, but Nicki and Margene aren't sure they want to join in a unified 'cold-shoulder' campaign to get Bill to reconsider. At the compound, Frank discovers Lois's valuable pea stash and holds the money hostage until Lois tells how she got the loot. At home, Bill and Barb are shocked to learn of Ben's 'deviant' behavior with Brynn, but differ on the best way to treat it. With the Weber deal still in doubt, Bill continues to play both sides of the inter-compound dispute, hoping to incite Roman to take retaliatory measures that will finish off the Greenes. Armed with new information about Eddie's windfall, Frank pays Bill a visit at Home Plus in an effort to blackmail him, receiving a rude send-off in return. Bill attempts to bring Ben into the fold by conferring the priesthood on him.

Episode 9 - Circle the Wagons

Bill enlists Nicki to sell Barb and Margene on Weber Gaming, with predictable results. In the wake of the latest public blemish on Juniper Creek, Bill calls an emergency UEB meeting that Alby ends up crashing. Burned by Frank, a distraught Lois fights to get back into Bill's good graces, and turns to an unexpected source for advice. Margene is unsettled after running into an old co-worker at Home Plus, as is Ben. Nicki tries to gift her way into the compound, but is miffed when Adaleen freezes her out. After confronting Sarah about her 'moral ambiguity,' Barb tries to get Heather back into her daughter's life. With Margene holding the swing vote on Weber, Bill decides to take his wives to see for themselves how the 'other half' lives. Rhonda finds another way to make herself the center of attention; Alby steps forward to 'channel' Roman in his hour of need; Nicki takes advantage of a deal from Alby; and Lois decides to hit Frank where it hurts.

Episode 10 - The Happiest Girl

Rebuffed by Barb, Bill asks Margene to accompany him to a Bar Owner's trade convention. Alby realizes that Juniper Creek has been robbed, and thinks he knows by whom. Nicki tries to orchestrate a celebration at Juniper Creek, but ends up moving it to her house when Alby objects. After running into an old acquaintance at the convention, Bill is forced to summon Barb to bail him out, turning Margene from public wife to pariah. Scolded by Barb for violating his grounding, Ben meets a couple of twins with long-term potential. Rhonda hits a new low in blackmailing Sarah; Lois serves her husband at the gas station; Roman returns to Juniper Creek; Frank aligns himself with Alby in an effort to procure a new wife; Nicki lets the cat out of the bag, to Bill's chagrin.

Episode 11 - Take Me As I Am

Liberated by his trip to the convention, Bill makes Alby a tempting offer in the wake of Nicki's disclosure about Weber Gaming. Barb learns that her mother Nancy is getting remarried, and decides to use the occasion to try to make peace with her estranged family--and provide traditional guidance to Ben. Scott tests the limits of his relationship with Sarah, precipitating a visit from Bill. Pam makes Margene a proposition; Alby takes a personal interest in Roman's rehabilitation; Nicki despairs over the 'corrosive influences' on the Henricksons, and gets an ultimatum from Alby; Bill faces a new threat from Hollis Greene.

Episode 12 - Oh, Pioneers

Foiled by Alby in his attempt to gain UEB support, Bill resorts to a new tack to try to bring down his nemeses. Preparing for the festivities surrounding Salt Lake City's Pioneer Week parade, the Henricksons are rocked by the appearance of an unexpected guest. Margene comes clean to Ana about her relationship with 'Phil' and then takes up her cause with her sisterwives--and Bill. Sarah and Heather attempt to get Ben to change directions; Bill ignores Lois's pleas to take a leadership role at Juniper Creek; Margene lobbies for more control in the family, and in her life; Barb sets Pam straight. After Bill makes his end move in the game to control Weber Gaming, Alby shocks Roman with a power play of his own.
