Episode 1 - There's Only One Way to Try a Case

As Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) prepares to sue a multinational drug maker, Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) asks high school classmate Chris Sanchez to help expose a private security firm’s illegal actions in Afghanistan. But as Chris hesitates while seeking help in dealing with his haunting memories, the company’s powerful CEO is working behind the scenes to make sure that the truth is never revealed.

  

Episode 2 - I've Done Way Too Much for This Girl

After Chris Sanchez’s agreement to testify convinces her bosses to pursue a lawsuit against High Star Security, Ellen (Rose Byrne) discovers that they caved under pressure and reneged on the deal. But as Chris finds himself the target of what he’s led to believe are Islamic extremists bent on avenging the death of a fellow Afghani fighter, Ellen must consider turning to Patty (Glenn Close) for help.

  

Episode 3 - I'd Prefer My Old Office

As Ellen (Rose Byrne) returns to the Hewes & Associates office to pursue her lawsuit against Howard Erickson (John Goodman), Patty’s (Glenn Close) search for her missing son leads to Boston. To silence Chris Sanchez (Chris Messina), Erickson authorizes his henchmen to use whatever means necessary to make sure he won’t deliver any damaging testimony in the lawsuit.

  

Episode 4 - Next One's On Me, Blondie

While being held hostage in Afghanistan, Chris (Chris Messina) sends a local operative to New York with a message for Ellen (Rose Byrne). As Patty (Glenn Close) enlists an old mentor to help with the case, news of a mysterious fifth member of the team that was on the disastrous High Star mission forces CEO Howard Erickson (John Goodman) to consider drastic measure to protect himself and his company.

  

Episode 5 - We'll Just Have to Find Another Way to Cut the Balls Off This Thing

As CIA operative Jerry Boorman looks to stop Ellen’s (Rose Byrne) depositions once and for all, High Star CEO Howard Erickson (John Goodman) turns to a Defense Department contact to stop the release of incriminating confidential files. Meanwhile, as she is working alongside Ellen, Patty (Glenn Close) worries about her granddaughter’s unexplained illness.

  

Episode 6 - Add That Little Hopper to Your Stew

As she fights to see the imprisoned Nasim Marwat, Ellen (Rose Byrne) closes in on a CIA cover up of an illegal intelligence mission in Afghanistan that could bring down High Star Security CEO Howard Erickson (John Goodman). And as she and Patty (Glenn Close) look to exonerate Nasim, Ellen offers a reporter the story of a lifetime in exchange for his help locating the missing Chris Sanchez (Chris Messina).

  

Episode 7 - I'm Worried About My Dog

As Howard Erickson (John Goodman) looks to bury the truth about a botched mission in Afghanistan, Ellen (Rose Byrne) and Patty (Glenn Close) seek a source inside the CIA who could help in their lawsuit against him and his company. And as Patty uses her class action suit against a French pharmaceutical giant to get the information she and Ellen need, Erickson returns to Afghanistan to ensure that Chris Sanchez (Chris Messina) will never talk.

  

Episode 8 - The War Will Go On Forever

As she sends a reporter to Afghanistan to find Chris, Ellen (Rose Byrne) teams up with Patty (Glenn Close) to depose Howard Erickson (John Goodman). Meanwhile, when his French girlfriend uncovers the truth about an intelligence asset he’s been hiding in New York, Jerry Boorman (Dylan Baker) takes drastic measures to protect himself and the CIA.

  

Episode 9 - There's a Whole Slew of Ladies With Bad Things to Say About the Taliban

As Chris Sanchez’s life hangs in the balance, Jerry Boorman’s (Dylan Baker) offer to sell out Howard Erickson (John Goodman) in order to protect the Afghan boy he’s keeping in a CIA safe house leaves Ellen (Rose Byrne) and Patty (Glenn Close) facing an important decision about the future of their lawsuit against High Star.

  

Episode 10 - Failure Is Lonely

As Ellen (Rose Byrne) moves to settle her lawsuit against High Star in exchange for Chris Sanchez’s (Chris Messina) safe return, her plans are upended by Patty’s (Glenn Close) surprise legal action against Howard Erickson (John Goodman). And while Ellen wants to put the suit behind her, rogue CIA agent Jerry Boorman (Dylan Baker) redoubles his efforts to destroy Erickson as he fights to hang on to his Afghan son.
