Confined to his home studio, captured by his brother Clément's camera, Orel piles up demos – for better or worse. He has never worked for so long strictly by himself. The end of lockdown comes as a blessing: Ablaye and Skread discover what became of Orel's inspiration... |
Episode 2 - Darkness and lightListening to the demos, one thing is sure: there's a lot of work left for Orel and his longtime partners. But the band's inspiration is slow to come. With Skread in an international solo project and Orel going through writer's block, the record planned to come out in 6 months is stalled. |
Episode 3 - We need to reboot, we need to resetDespite the loss of his texts Orel, manages to write new pieces. Instead of coming out of his media silence as planned, he is hit by an image crisis just as he's trying to set up featurings with Angèle, Pharrell Williams and Gringe. And time is flying: only three months left before the album's release and everything is still in a makeshift state. |
Episode 4 - I was all alone, we are thousandsIn a race against the clock as never experienced before, Orel, Ablaye, Skread and Phazz manage to hand in the album Civilisation on time. But it only marks the start of another sprint race: film shoot of an eye-popping music video, promotional frenzy, comeback strategy, and preparation for the tour due to start in Caen, Orel's hometown, where he has now found full recognition. |
