Season 3 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - GhostsIn the season three premiere episode, we meet Shawn's mother, Madeleine, played by Golden Globe winner and Emmy-nominated TV legend Cybill Shepherd. Madeleine, a criminal psychologist, returns to Santa Barbara to help the SBPD with a case much to the surprise of her son and ex-husband, Henry. We also see the Spencer family focus with the dysfunction of Madeleine and Henry's divorce as Shawn deals with the two of them back in his life. The PSYCH agency is on the case of a ghost in the home of Gus' boss.

Episode 2 - Murder?... Anyone?... Anyone?... Bueller?Gus has worked long and hard organizing their high school reunion, so when Shawn claims one of their fellow alumni has been murdered and his body has been hidden, Gus refuses to believe him. Shawn must now try to solve a case no one things exists before the reunion ends and the attendees escape back to their grown up lives. Gus is in charge of his and Shawn's high school reunion and he wants the night to go perfectly. He warns Shawn not to mess things up, then instructs him to go find more folding chairs. While Shawn heads to the cafeteria with Abigail, his high school crush, he sees, out the window behind her, someone fall to their death from the roof. But by the time they grab Gus and head outside, there is no sign of a body. Gus and Abigail don't believe anything happened, but Shawn claims the victim was wearing a letterman's jacket. Cybill Shepherd and Rachael Leigh Cook guest star.

Episode 3 - Daredevils!!While watching a daredevil's motorcycle jump at a fair, Shawn realizes someone is sabotaging his stunts. Shawn and Gus talk their way into his inner circle in order to find out who's trying to kill him. Jeff Fahey guest stars.

Episode 4 - The Greatest Adventure In the History of Basic CableWhen Shawn's adventurous and notoriously unreliable Uncle Jack comes to town claiming he has a map to ancient hidden Spanish treasure, Shawn, Gus and Henry find themselves in a life or death chase to the gold with a shady group of raiders who will stop at nothing to get to the prize first. Stephen Weber guest stars.

Episode 5 - Disco Didn't Die. It Was Murdered!The biggest bust of Henry's career just walked out of jail on a technicality, so Shawn and Gus must revisit the seventies to reinvestigate the case and put the culprit behind bars for good. Jere Burns and Pookie guest star.

Episode 7 - Talk Derby to MeShawn and Gus help Juliet go undercover as a member of a roller derby team in order solve a string of robberies. WWE Diva Mickie James guest-stars in "Talk Derby To Me."

Episode 8 - Gus Walks Into a BankAfter Gus finds himself held hostage in a bank, Shawn must not only find a way to get inside, but also to become part of the gunman's chief negotiator.

Episode 9 - Christmas JoyAfter Shawn and Gus help a little girl get a mall Santa out of jail in time for Christmas, they realize their clients are con men who have a big score planned. Helping them with their investigation is Gus' sister Joy, in town for the holidays and looking to repeat a one time fling she had with Shawn, who is determined to keep his best friend from ever finding out. Phylicia Rashad and Keith David guest star as Mr. and Mrs. Guster, with John Landis directing the episode.

Episode 10 - Six Feet Under the SeaWhen Shabby the Sea Lion is found dead after being released into the wild, Shawn sets out to prove it was murder and stumbles onto a bigger conspiracy. Ted McGinley guest stars.

Episode 15 - Tuesday the 17thShawn and Gus are hired by a childhood friend to find a missing camp counselor who disappeared near their old sleep away campgrounds. Upon their arrival, spooky activity abounds and they must uncover if the dark past of the abandoned camp has come back to life. And, oh yeah, Justine Bateman guest stars as Lassiter's estranged wife Victoria!

Episode 16 - An Evening With Mr. YangAfter eluding capture and disappearing years ago, the famed Yin Yang serial killer is back, and he's set his sights on Shawn. Cybill Shepherd and Rachael Leigh Cook reprise their roles in the season finale ... and watch for a secret celebrity in the role of Mr. Yang!
