Episode 1 - The Circle of Driving

Under the watchful eye of an eleven-year-old boy’s video camera, the Goldbergs face the challenges of life in the 80’s, including two new teenage drivers and a grandfather who shouldn’t be allowed behind the wheel. Starring Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin and George Segal.

  

Episode 2 - Daddy Daughter Day

A day out with Erica (Hayley Orrantia) leaves Murray (Jeff Garlin) wishing he hadn’t asked about her life. Their annual school wardrobe shopping trip leaves Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and Adam (Sean Giambrone) at odds.

  

Episode 3 - Mini Murray

Barry (Troy Gentile) wants money to buy an expensive pair of basketball shoes, so Murray (Jeff Garlin) hires him to work at his furniture store. When Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) prohibits him from seeing a new horror movie, Adam (Sean Giambrone) goes behind her back.

  

Episode 4 - Why Are You Hitting Yourself?

As Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) tries playing matchmaker for Pops (George Segal), Adam (Sean Giambrone) and Barry (Troy Gentile) bond over their discovery of a scrambled porn channel on TV.

  

Episode 5 - The Ring

As Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) discovers that her engagement ring is the same one Murray (Jeff Garlin) gave to his ex-fiancée, Adam (Sean Giambrone) looks to a romantic comedy for inspiration as he tries to woo his pretty neighbor.

  

Episode 6 - Who Are You Going to Telephone?

As Adam (Sean Giambrone) abandons Pops (George Segal) to go trick-or-treating with a cool new friend, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) dons a costume so she can keep Barry (Troy Gentile) from being embarrassed at a Halloween party.

  

Episode 7 - Call Me When You Get There

Barry (Troy Gentile) is thrilled at the freedom offered by his new driver’s license, until Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) lays down her rules of the road. Pops (George Segal) resists wearing a Life Alert bracelet and is forced to call Adam (Sean Giambrone) when he needs help.

  

Episode 8 - The Kremps

Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) is determined to make friends with a standoffish neighbor (guest star Jennifer Irwin). Barry (Troy Gentile) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) battle for control of the family’s one telephone line.

  

Episode 9 - Stop Arguing and Start Thanking

As Thanksgiving reignites the longstanding feud between Murray (Jeff Garlin) and his ne’er-do-well brother, Marvin (guest star Dan Fogler), Barry’s (Troy Gentile) loss to Adam (Sean Giambrone) in a ball game shifts the balance of their sibling rivalry.

  

Episode 10 - Shopping

Erica’s (Hayley Orrantia) new job is jeopardized when Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) goes overboard with her employee discount. Pops (George Segal) looks to change Barry’s (Troy Gentile) bad luck.

  

Episode 11 - Kara-te

On the eve of the annual high school talent show, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and Murray (Jeff Garlin) square off over Barry’s (Troy Gentile) plan to perform his karate routine, while Pops (George Segal) encourages Erica (Hayley Orrantia) to sing. Guest starring Tim Meadows.

  

Episode 12 - You’re Under Foot

When Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) complains that Pops (George Segal) is spending too much time with her at home, Murray (Jeff Garlin) takes him back to work at the furniture store. Adam (Sean Giambrone) reluctantly gives away his toys, hoping it will help him get his first kiss.

  

Episode 13 - The Other Smother

Micromanaging Barry (Troy Gentile) and Erica’s (Hayley Orrantia) college searches pits Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) against a rival meddling mom. Erica tells Pops (George Segal) that her efforts to enhance her college prospects are based on lies.

  

Episode 14 - You Opened the Door

As Adam (Sean Giambrone) reluctantly agrees to take dance lessons from Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey), Murray (Jeff Garlin) is pressured into talking to the boys about sex.

While Adam (Sean Giambrone) worries about sexual tension between him and his longtime friend Emmy (guest star Stephanie Katherine Grant), Erica (Hayley Orrantia) and Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) square off over a lack of trust.

  

Episode 16 - Goldbergs Never Say Die

Barry (Troy Gentile) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) join Adam (Sean Giambrone) and his friends on a Goonies-inspired treasure hunt for some family jewels misplaced by Pops (George Segal).

As Murray (Jeff Garlin) struggles to get Adam (Sean Giambrone) interested in hockey, Beverly’s (Wendi McLendon-Covey) efforts to help Erica (Hayley Orrantia) prepare for her college entrance exams threaten to backfire.

As an unwanted new chair puts Murray (Jeff Garlin) on the warpath with Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey), Adam (Sean Giambrone) regrets enlisting Barry’s (Troy Gentile) help to fend off a school bully.

  

Episode 19 - The President’s Fitness Test

Murray (Jeff Garlin) intervenes when Adam (Sean Giambrone) seeks Beverly’s (Wendi McLendon-Covey) help to avoid a national physical fitness test. Barry (Troy Gentile) woos Erica’s (Hayley Orrantia) French pen pal (guest star Bella Dayne).

  

Episode 20 - You’re Not Invited

To get his little brother his first kiss, Barry (Troy Gentile) hosts a “no parents allowed” birthday party in the basement for Adam (Sean Giambrone) – and sparks some suprisingly protective instincts in Erica (Hayley Orrantia).

  

Episode 21 - The Age of Darkness

The family rallies to help Erica (Hayley Orrantia) when she’s dumped by her boyfriend. Barry (Troy Gentile) battles his addiction to an arcade game.

  

Episode 22 - A Wrestler Named Goldberg

Murray (Jeff Garlin) coaches Barry for his first high school wrestling match while keeping it a secret from Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey). Erica (Hayley Orrantia) ruins Adam’s (Sean Giambrone) chances at seeing the new Stars Wars movie.

  

Episode 23 - Livin’ on a Prayer

While Murray (Jeff Garlin) is being honored by his high school for his basketball prowess, Barry (Troy Gentile) takes advantage of his parents’ absence to throw a blowout party at home.
