Episode 1 - Coming Home?

The team finds out who purchased The Next Step’s building, and with Internationals around the corner, the pressure is on to either find a new place to dance or make a huge sacrifice that will hurt the troupe. Much to Riley's surprise, James uses a special talent to help plan his Aunt Kathy’s wedding.

  

Episode 2 - Game, Set, and Match

A-Troupe learns that they will have to compete against Elite – and possibly even their own teammates – for a spot on the Internationals team. The pressure is too much, and one of The Next Step’s best dancers quits the team.

  

Episode 3 - Secrets

When the doctor tells Emily that she is still unable to dance, she is faced with a tough decision: dance for a spot on A-Troupe and risk a serious injury, or give up her spot and miss out on going to Internationals.

  

Episode 4 - Let the Games Begin

Dancers from The Next Step and Elite are forced to have one-on-one battles for spots on A-Troupe. When dancers from The Next Step are forced to go against each other, the team loses key members.

  

Episode 5 - The Fallout

After multiple dancers were cut from A-Troupe, team members struggle to cope with the change. The Next Step says goodbye to a close friend, and B-Troupe gets a little bigger.

  

Episode 6 - The Times They Are A Changin'

Giselle comes up against a familiar face in her battle for a spot on A-Troupe. Chloe has the odds stacked against her as she defends her place on the team. At the end of it all, ownership of The Next Step is decided.

  

Episode 7 - Your New Beginning

With the new Elite members having a hard time integrating with The Next Step, Phoebe assigns the dancers a team-building exercise. James plans a surprise for Riley to celebrate a big change in her life.

  

Episode 8 - I’m Your Captain

The Next Step needs to declare a Dance Captain as Internationals approach. Shantel challenges Giselle for the position, and the one who choreographs the better dance will get it. James enlists Riley’s help finding a suit for his Aunt Kathy’s wedding. A-Troupe loses another dancer.

  

Episode 9 - The Nutcracker Prince

Eldon challenges West to broaden his dance horizons and audition for a ballet company. West enlists Chloe’s help to support him through the audition. James is busy with the band, and isn’t sure if he’ll take the open spot on A-Troupe.

  

Episode 10 - Can’t Fight This Feeling

Thalia gets jealous and wonders if things between Michelle and Eldon are really over. Chloe receives an exciting opportunity to help her dance career, but taking it would mean leaving The Next Step. Richelle develops a crush on a member of A-Troupe.

  

Episode 11 - Marry Me

Shortly before Aunt Kathy’s wedding, James meets her fiancé – a face he hoped he wouldn’t see again. When the wedding gets called off, James and Riley rush to get the kooky couple back together and save the day. Sparks fly as Eldon and Thalia teach a J-Troupe class.

  

Episode 12 - Do The Right Thing

Chloe chooses between joining a ballet company and staying at The Next Step. Fed up with Eldon avoiding her, Thalia gets to the bottom of his odd behaviour.

  

Episode 13 - Put You First

James and Riley struggle to find the perfect anniversary gift for each other. Giselle and Thalia question Amanda’s place in a trio when Max offers to help. Eldon, West, and Cierra discover that Noah has super-human abilities, and put him to the test.

  

Episode 14 - I Hope I Get It

Cierra works to help her sister, Skylar, land a spot on the Internationals team. Emily returns to encourage Stephanie to throw her hat into the ring. Michelle considers moving back to Madison with her mother.

  

Episode 15 - The New Girl In Town

As part of the International Dancer Exchange program, a dancer from England has come to stay – and cause trouble – with The Next Step. Riley is tasked with showing mischievous newcomer, Ella, the ropes. Amanda tries to avoid going to Sweden on the dancer exchange.

  

Episode 16 - Sweet Spot

Riley and James are assigned a duet for Internationals. While James is busy with his band, Ella challenges Riley to have some fun rather than wait around for him. Eldon helps Thalia with her quest to find “sweet spots” in the studio.

  

Episode 17 - Square Dance

In an effort to help ease tension as Internationals approaches, Riley and Ella trick A-Troupe into learning a square dance. Feeling left out, Noah struggles to bring his dancing to the next level.

  

Episode 18 - Mixed Messages

Ella reminds The Next Step where her true loyalties lie when she makes James and Riley see that their relationship might not be as strong as they thought. Thalia and Eldon find new ways of communicating in secret.

  

Episode 19 - Never There

Michelle’s difficulty dealing with her parents’ divorce leads to problems within the team. James and Riley walk a mile in each other’s shoes. Ella shows Noah that he belongs in A-Troupe.

     

Episode 20 - Today I’m Getting Over You

Members of A-Troupe pair with members of B-Troupe to perform duets. Stephanie struggles to resist falling into old habits with Beth. Cierra’s increasing commitment to dance creates problems with Skylar. Richelle grapples with her crush on Noah.

  

Episode 21 - Cry Me A River

Michelle breaks down under the weight of her parents’ divorce and her new status as alternate, so Stephanie tries to help her feel normal again. Noah challenges Eldon’s selection as the International soloist. Ella keeps one-upping the boys in their own silly contests.

  

Episode 22 - It’s My Party

The Next Step welcomes Amanda back from Sweden. Riley and Ella play one last prank on James before Ella goes back to England. Noah tries to work up the courage to kiss Abi. West and Giselle help Eldon and Thalia’s budding romance.

  

Episode 23 - Welcome to Miami

In Miami for Internationals, Riley is forced to work off her bill as a waitress after she is unable to pay for her meal. West gives a guided tour to some of the more offbeat attractions Miami has to offer.

  

Episode 24 - Lost At Sea

Kate and Giselle arrive to register for Internationals, but James hasn’t signed his form yet. Unfortunately, James is trapped on a boat, adrift in the middle of the alligator-filled Everglades with West and Eldon.

  

Episode 25 - When the War is Over

Eldon struggles with the loss of his lucky coin ahead of his Mister International Soloist competition. Riley’s friendship with Ella is tested when they compete for Miss International Soloist.

  

Episode 26 - We Are The World

Eldon competes against seven other dancers to determine how much time their teams will have to prepare for the next round. The team scrambles to adjust their quarterfinals routine to new music.

  

Episode 27 - Blind

The dancers find out that in the second round of Internationals, the dance they had prepared will have to be performed blindfolded. As they struggle to make it work, it becomes apparent that they need to change which dancers perform. Michelle helps Stephanie conquer her stage

  

Episode 28 - Turn, Turn, Turn

Eldon competes against seven other dancers to determine how much time their teams will have to prepare for the next round. The team scrambles to adjust their quarterfinals routine to new music.

  

Episode 29 - She’s Not You

The Next Step performs a ten-person dance against Ella’s team in the semifinal round of Internationals. A key dancer’s sudden illness threatens The Next Step’s chance to move on to the finals.

  

Episode 30 - How It Ends

The Next Step battles for the title of International Champion against the team from Sweden. James and Riley put everything on the line to give their team a chance at winning.
