Trivia: A former child star who managed to avoid burning out before her teens, Elisha Cuthbert successfully carried the success from Popular Mechanics for Kids and Are You Afraid of the Dark? into a featured role on the hit FOX series 24 and a successful film career. A Calgary native who landed her first modeling job at the tender age of seven, it was a mere four years later that Cuthbert instinctively knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her days in front of the lens. Following an appearance in the 1997 feature Dancing on the Moon, Cuthbert landed a job as a field correspondent for the acclaimed Canadian television series Popular Mechanics for Kids, and her reporting proved so effective that she caught the attention of first lady Hillary Clinton, who invited Cuthbert to Washington for a meeting. Though she spent the majority of her youth in Montreal, Cuthbert moved to Los Angeles at age 17 in order to pursue an acting career. Featured roles as a reluctant pilot in Airspeed (1998) and a time traveling teen in Time at the Top (1999) were soon to follow, and by the time Cuthbert joined the cast of Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark? in 1999, it was obvious that her talent was growing. Her role in the made-for-Canadian-television feature Lucky Girl only furthered her reputation as a dramatically capable actor, and her distinct onscreen facial expressions and convincing performance soon caught the eyes of producers who were preparing a new thriller series for FOX.Cast as Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) damsel-in-distress daughter, Kimberly in the breakout hit 24, Cuthbert's character suffered through multiple kidnappings and a mountain lion attack over the course of the series' first two seasons. In the episode of 24 in which she shared a scene with the mountain lion, Cuthbert made news when the beast actually attacked her on the film set, sending the frightened actress on a trip to the hospital with an injured hand. On the heels of 24, Cuthbert took a supporting role in the comedy Old School before appearing in the subsequent romantic comedies Love Actually (2003) and The Girl Next Door (2004), the latter of which found her taking the lead as an ex-porn star who becomes the object of affection to a lonely suburban boy unaware of her past.Having reached starlet status, Cuthbert would continue to act throughout the 2000's and 2010's, most notably in thrillers like The Quiet and Captivity, as well as TV shows like 24, The Forgotten, and Happy Endings.

Trivia: A comedienne who got her start with a brief tenure on NBC's Saturday Night Live, actress-cum-playwright Casey Wilson laid claim to a prestigious educational pedigree that included enrollment at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts and further study at the exclusive Stella Adler School of Acting. She then teamed up with fellow comedy writer June Diane Raphael to co-author a sellout two-woman show, Rode Hard and Put Away Wet, at Manhattan's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The production ran for 11 months, made the Aspen Comedy and Arts Festival, and won the covetable ECNY award for Best Comedic Duo for its two creators; it also drew the attention of SNL, and executive producer Lorne Michaels recruited Wilson as one of the program's in-house performers in 2008. By that point, Wilson had already branched out into feature-film activity, with small roles in Christopher Guest's For Your Consideration (2006) and Bob Odenkirk's The Brothers Solomon (2007); she and Raphael subsequently authored the script for the comedy Bride Wars, co-starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. In 2008, Wilson held a small role opposite John Malkovich and Colin Hanks in the showbiz drama The Great Buck Howard. She went on to appear in Julie & Julia, Killers, and Freak Dance. WIlson played the perpetually lovelorn Penny Hartz on ABC sitcom Happy Endings for three seasons before the critical darling was cancelled in 2013. She quickly rebounded with another sitcom, NBC's Marry Me, in 2014; unfortunately, the show was cancelled after only one season.

Trivia: Son of comedic legend Damon Wayans, Damon Wayans Jr. began following in his dad's footsteps in 1994 when, at the age of 12, he played the younger version of David Alan Grier's character Kevin in the movie Blankman. He would spend the next several years honing his stand-up comedy skills, eventually joining the cast of the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2001. He would also become a writer on the show, penning several episodes before departing in 2004. In 2006, Wayans became a writer and actor on the outrageous sketch comedy series The Underground, joining forces with his father, who also helped create the show. Then in 2009, the comedian kept it in the family once again, playing Thomas in the parody Dance Flick, which was directed by Wayans' cousin Damien Wayans. He then appeared in the Will Farrell action comedy The Other Guys.

Trivia: Mark-Paul Gosselaar became a TV teen idol as bleached-blond Zack on Saved by the Bell and spent the latter half of the 1990s trying to live down that legacy. Born in California to Dutch parents, Gosselaar had already made numerous TV guest appearances as a child actor by the time he was cast on Saved by the Bell in 1989. Though the perky high school/college sitcom made him a hit with the young audience, he had difficulties finding work after leaving the show in 1994. Still, he managed to land roles in TV and B-films, including Sticks and Stones (1996), Kounterfeit (1996), and the Western Brothers of the Frontier (1996). Confirming that his teen (and perhaps teen idol) years were behind him, Gosselaar played a college date rapist in She Cried No (1996) and co-starred with Hilary Swank in the college hazing TV movie Dying to Belong (1997). Moving to higher profile feature films, Gosselaar engaged in slightly more lighthearted college hijinks in MTV Films' black comedy Dead Man on Campus (1998). He was back on TV, however, playing young adults in two short-lived drama series, Hyperion Bay (1998) and D.C. (2000). In 2001, Gosselaar was finally able to truly graduate from Saved by the Bell to bona-fide grown-up roles when he was selected to take over for Rick Schroeder on the long-running gritty cop series NYPD Blue. His four year run with the series cemented the actor's new reputation as an adult actor, and he would go on to star on several other shows, like Commander in Chief, Raising the Bar, and Franklin & Bash. In 2015, secure in his adult career, Gosselaar reunited with some of his Saved By the Bell cast members for a skit on The Tonight Show.
Nick Zano (Actor) .. Pete
Born: March 08, 1978
Birthplace: Nutley, New Jersey, United States

Trivia: Born in Nutley, NJ, model-cum-actor Nick Zano developed an enduring infatuation with cinema well before his 13th birthday, reportedly from watching Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas (1990). The experience convinced Zano to dramatically turn away from his intention to become a Navy SEAL and pursue a career in film, with initial plans to hone his skills behind the camera. Shortly thereafter, Zano's family relocated to southeastern Florida, and Nick began to realize his show-business dreams, both on-stage (with involvement in high-school drama productions) and in broadcast (with production duties at the high school's in-house television station). Zano also began impetuously scripting and directing his own short-subject films -- an accomplishment that led to a victory in the JVC-Universal short film competition three years in a row, and that prompted West Palm Beach-based Prelude Pictures to give the young upstart a prestigious development job in feature film and television immediately after graduation from secondary school. Not long after, Zano decided to shift gears and focus on acting; he moved to Los Angeles in June 2001 and commenced an endless series of auditions for parts in various productions, and achieved perhaps his greatest coup by landing a covetable assignment as an MTV correspondent on its cinema-themed talk program Movie House, and later on the makeover-themed reality show Why Can't I Be You? Zano's cinematic breakthrough arrived in 2008 with a plum role in the teen comedy College; that year, he also signed on for the fourth installment of the long-running Final Destination franchise. In 2011 he landed a recurring role on the successful CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls.
