Reenactments are used in this two-part look at the French and Indian War (1754-63), which includes the importance of Indians during the conflict that helped spur the American Revolution. In his first full-scale battle, George Washington is defeated and becomes an aide to British general Edward Braddock. During the conflict, French and English officers enter into an uneasy alliance with the Indians, who regard the war as a way to regain their territory. Graham Greene narrates.
