Episode 1 - New Cop at BellahøjAnna Pihl is a new police officer at Bellahøj Police Station. Here, in one of the most populated and busy police districts in the country, she spends her first day of work – and it turns out to be anything but a boring Monday. Anna was a police trainee in a provincial area, so she doesn’t know Copenhagen, the many districts of the city or the various population groups, and to make matters worse, Anna has to bring her son, Mikkel, to the station. Out on her first patrol, Anna gets involved in a case about a restraining order among spouses - and Anna gets into a fight, that sends two men to the ER. Was it Anna’s fault? Did she overreact or was it unavoidable? The case doesn’t stop there, and soon the new big city cop is involved in than she ever dreamt of, and the consequences are dire.

Episode 2 - A Question of HonourAnna Pihl’s regular partner, Mikala, is still in the hospital after the knife attack, so now the brand new police officer is given a new partner at Bellahøj Police Station. She’s ordered to partner up with the rule-bound and rigid officer Kim – known among colleagues as KGB. The two people, who will now sit close together in a patrol car for eight hours a day, every day, are very different, and Anna and Kim’s different world views are put to a test, when they’re called to an immigrant family, where the daughter has been beaten up. Immediately, Kim suspects the girl’s family, but Anna’s intuition tells her, that the case is about something entirely different. But what do you do when your colleague acts like a dumb racist and the man you’re flirting with turns out to have a girlfriend? Can Anna make her new life as a city cop work with her private life as a single mother?

Episode 3 - The Fat LadyOn a night patrol drive, Anna and her partner Kim find a dead woman in an apartment. The woman is extremely obese and the criminal investigation department as well as the forensic investigation department closes the case – convinced that the woman died from heart failure. But Anna is obsessed with the thought that the woman was murdered, and she asks her father, a retired detective superintendent, for help. He is busy with his new girlfriend, and in her attempt to solve the case Anna goes beyond her authority and poses as a police investigator. In her private investigation, she comes to suspect the woman’s neighbor for the homicide, and Anna gets in deep trouble with her bosses at Bellahøj Police Station, where Mikala is attempting to resume her work without psychological after-effects of the attack. And Anna still can’t sort her feelings for Martin.

Episode 4 - Dog in the BackseatA dog has jumped aboard a HT-bus and the passengers are frightened. Luckily, Anna Pihl has a way with animals, and along with her partner Kim, she is able to calmly and quietly drive the dog back to its owner. However, Anna is quick to suspect that the owner is mistreating the dog and by taking resolute action she becomes the hero of the day at Bellahøj and in the newspapers. But Anna also calls the wrath of the criminal investigation department upon her and ends up as a pawn in a political game about police resources. The case of the dog gets a bloody end, while Mikala overreacts to a young shoplifter. Mikkel is turning five and on the night before Martin’s ex-girlfriend shows at Anna’s home with a disturbing message. At the same time, Anna is having trouble accepting her father’s new, young girlfriend.

Episode 5 - IndianerenA rapist is prowling the streets of Copenhagen, and the police have no decisive clues in the case. The perpetrator is called "The Indian", because he pulls a lock of hair off the women, and it turns out that Martin’s ex-girlfriend got uncomfortably close to him. While Anna Pihl tries to help out with the investigation of the rapes, Mikala and Kim drive out to a villa, where there was a break-in. Mikala can hardly resist taking the expensive stuff in the house, and one night when they go out, Anna discovers that her colleague is getting out of her depth. Martin has gotten a new job in the police’s plain-clothes Delta group, and it turns out that Anna has more than one infatuated suitor. Back in the apartment, Jan’s mother comes by for dinner, and it turns out, that there’s something Jan hasn’t told her.

Episode 6 - The DecoyAfter the homicide of Martin’s ex-girlfriend 'The Indian' is still at large. Anna Pihl has offered to be a plain-clothes decoy in the attempt to catch the rapist/murderer, and her colleagues back her up by in this dangerous operation. However, Anna’s father believes that the police are underestimating the intelligence of the murderer, and both Henning and Jan fear for Anna’s safety. The course of the investigation, Anna gets to feel the breath of the rapist on the back of her neck but not in the way she expected. Martin is becoming serious about his courtship, but Anna doesn’t quite know how to surrender to love. Nevertheless, she does something that surprises Martin. Mikala’s service pistol has ended up in the wrong hands, and suddenly she finds herself trapped in an insoluble dilemma.

Episode 7 - Everyone Has a SecretIn the middle of the celebration of Anna Pihl, put on by her colleagues for her heroic action in the case of 'The Indian', Kim brings her bad news. Anna’s brother, Mads, has been arrested for drunk driving, but at first he gets off scot-free, because she tampers with the evidence. But Mads can’t stay off the drinks, and soon his drunk driving has fatal consequences, while surprising secrets come to light. Mikala is also hiding a secret, and Stavro comes to her, threatening to press charges against her for corruption if she doesn’t cooperate. She feels pressured into giving him confidential information about the city’s drug dealers, while also having trouble on the home front. Jan would like to be a father and has started his search for a lesbian mother who will help him.

Episode 8 - In Bed with the EnemyMads is falling apart after the drunk driving killing, and while he passes time on the couch at Anna Pihl and Jan’s place, she fears for the consequences of covering for him. Meanwhile, Mikala gets entangled in Stavro’s shady net, and she exploits the officer in charge and Martin in an attempt to get more information. Her relationship with Stavro becomes very personal, but suddenly the gravity of the situation dawns on Mikala. Anna’s feelings for Martin become more and more clarified, and Kim realizes that he had better start looking around for other women - and perhaps young, red-headed bicycle thieves aren’t that bad after all? Meanwhile, Anna, Henning and Signe make another effort to get Mads back on track, but the situation causes Anna to engage in great and difficult deliberations.

Episode 9 - The Fight in the ParkMikala is desperate after the deadly fire, that Stavro was responsible for, and she refuses to help him anymore. But Stavro doesn’t give up so easily, and suddenly Mikala’s family may be in danger. While the city warms up for an important soccer match in Parken, the colleagues at Bellahøj Police Station have found a few good leads to clear up the fire incident. Every man has been deployed to keep the restless soccer fans under control, and an unpleasant surprise awaits Mikala among the spectators. Kim contemplates a career change while being charmed by the bicycle thief, Louise, and Mads is still trying to regain his bearings back at Henning and Signe’s place. Jan is still looking for lesbian mother candidates, and Anna gets an idea, which may help him. But she also gets a bloody shock in Parken.

Episode 10 - The Hunt for ZoranMartin is in mortal danger after the knife attack in Parken, so his girlfriend and colleague Anna Pihl is unhappy, but the she is also eager to join in the pursuit of Zoran. Mikala is still in Stavro’s claws, and he threatens her into leaving out important details about the homicide attempt. Nevertheless, the police are closing in on Zoran, and a tip leads the combat ready police officers to a desolate dock in the marina. But will Anna and her colleagues succeed in catching Zoran? Will Mikala escape from Stavro’s net? And will Martin survive? At Bellahøj Station, Anna faces one last great and unexpected challenge, while Mads back at the farm is having trouble getting out of his alcohol addiction. Ahead of him is a trial, which could send him to prison for many years. Meanwhile, Anna’s career takes an unexpected turn.
