Episode 1 - Unwanted Drug AddictAnna is training to be a negotiator and when a drug addict suddenly runs amuck in a convenience store, Anna suddenly needs what she leant at the negotiator education. Mikala would like to take a course in leadership, but at the same time, she’s having problems with her teenage son, Tobias, who is getting into bad company. And at Bellahøj a new – very self-confident – police officer trainee with an immigrant background joins the team. On the home front, Jan has big news, and Anna and Martin have a talk that ends with Martin asking Anna a very personal question.

Episode 2 - Boys Who Love SoccerAnna and Kim give a young, drunk soccer fan a ride home. It turns out that he is a member of a particularly rough group of FCK-supporters, City Casuals, which uses every available opportunity to get in fights with the Brøndby-supporters, South Urban Casuals. So when Anna meets him later on in an entirely different connection, she gets very nervous. And when it comes to a confrontation between the two supporter-groups, it suddenly has consequences for both Anna and Mikkel. Henning’s book is issued and this gives him quite a bit of attention in the media. Meanwhile, Anna’s brother, Mads, is transferred to the closed prison at Blegdamsvej – which scares him. Martin is going to get his routine check-up at the doctor’s – but this doesn’t work out exactly as he had expected.

Episode 3 - A Prayer for Dan LarsenIn prison, Mads has a violent experience, which also affects Anna. A young convict, Dan, escapes to the roof of the prison building and threatens to jump off and commit suicide. This becomes Anna’s first assignment as a negotiator, but will she successfully talk Dan out of jumping? At Bellahøj, Karim is having a hard time fitting in with the other officers and when he partners up with Kim, it lead to a clash in which Kim is accused of being a racist. Meanwhile, Martin tries to get settled into his new job at the counter – which turns out to be a bit difficult. And back home, Anna finally pulls herself together to tell Jan about hers and Martin’s moving plans.

Episode 4 - Eye for an Eye, Pt. 1A drug related clash of the immigrant gangs of Nørrebro has scary consequences for a young Danish girl, who just happens to be in the wrong place in the wrong time. Mikala is still nervous about what Tobias is getting himself into. This also affects her work as a police officer, and during the arrest of a suspect – a second generation immigrant – Mikala lets herself be provoked and reacts in a way that is not entirely in accordance with the rules. At Bellahøj, the colleagues have a farewell reception for Martin, but the present they bought for him makes Martin freak out, and this affects his relationship with Anna.

Episode 5 - Eye for an Eye, Pt. 2The police have not yet caught the man, who shot and killed the 16-year-old Natasha. For this reason, the whole city is in a lynching mood, and at Natasha’s funeral, her uncle threatens to take matters into his own hands. And when Natasha’s father also becomes desperate, the situation becomes critical. But can Anna and her colleagues prevent another young person from losing her life? In prison, the family celebrates Mads’ birthday, and he has a surprise for them, that is met with less than enthusiasm. At Bellahøj, Kim’s girlfriend, Louise, is eagerly trying to get interviews with the officers – without much luck, though. And as a consequence of Martin’s illness, his and Anna’s relationship takes a somewhat unexpected turn.

Episode 6 - A Boy Disappears, Pt. 1The 14-year-old rich man’s son, Alexander Borch, has been kidnapped and his kidnappers have demanded a ransom of Kr. 20 million. The boy’s parents aren’t interested in collaborating with the Anna and the negotiation group, and when Alexander’s father insists on handing over the money alone, the case takes an unexpected turn. Some new, very strong and very dangerous Amphetamine pills are in circulation. They’re being sold to very young people, and when a horrified Mikala discovers, that this also happens at Tobias’ school, she gets furious and takes matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Anna is sad after her breakup with Martin, but it seems she’s not the only one having troubles of the heart.

Episode 7 - A Boy Disappears, Pt. 2The hunt for 14-year-old Alexander and his kidnappers continues in Sweden, where the Swedish police have taken over. Anna has joined them in her capacity as Danish negotiator and once again she meets Daniel, the Swedish negotiator, who was one of her trainers. And their collaboration doesn’t proceed entirely by the book. Back in Vanløse, Mikala tries her hand at a new more obliging approach to Tobias. Of course, Thomas is happy about this, but unfortunately it doesn’t have quite the desired effect. And back in the apartment, Jan and Therese are paid a visit by her parents, when they suddenly get an unexpected visit.

Episode 8 - Under SuspicionDuring a drug raid, Mikala, Anna, Kim and Karim find a large quantity of heroin. Later on, it turns out that 100 grams of it have disappeared, and now all four officers are under suspicion. The flying squad is called in, and during the interrogation, Anna is put in an extremely unpleasant situation. The station is having its annual Christmas party, and as chairman of the party committee, Kim is quick to take in the drinks and take over the karaokee-stereo. However, Louise, his girlfriend, has other interests. Tobias is still at the hospital after the Amphetamine-poisoning, and Mikala is taking out her concern on her whole family. And finally, Anna gets flowers and an invitation that she can’t bring herself to refuse.

Episode 9 - Friend or EnemyIn her personal hunt for the men responsible for sell the pills that poisoned Tobias, Mikala gets further and further out of her depth. And suddenly, her attempt to take matters into her own hands, are given an unexpected twist. Anna is in big trouble with her role as a ”snitch”, and this has consequences for her friendship with Mikala. It forces her to make a tough choice. Meanwhile, Anna’s relationship with Daniel enters a new phase. The Christmas party becomes significant to Kim, who is also forced to make some tough choices. And finally, neither Anna nor Mads are particularly thrilled to see Henning’s new girlfriend.

Episode 10 - The ShowdownTobias is still missing, and Mikala continues her desperate hunt for him as well as the dealer K. Through the pusher, Jimmy, she tracks down the lab, where the Kamikaze-pills are manufactured. And Mikala has no doubts about what she must do – even though it may have very serious consequences. This leads to Anna and Mikala having the most important but also the toughest conversation of their friendship. Kim and Louise also have a serious talk about their relationship, and this changes the police duty roster on Christmas Eve. And while Mikala and her family celebrate a somewhat untraditional Christmas, Anna has gathered her whole – untraditional – family back in the apartment. And in the middle of party games and Christmas treats and unexpected visitor shows up.
