Episode 1 - Call Me Your Honor

Mayor Hoover declines to run for mayor, so Judge Tobin with Earp's support asks Jim Kelley to run against Slip Madigan. The key issue in the election is the retention of Earp as marshal. Earp decides to resign to ensure Kelley's election.

  

Episode 2 - The Big Bellyache

Dr. Fabrique Wichita visits Earp hoping for a vacation fishing. With Dr. McCarty out of town he is forced to tend to cattle baron Shanghai Pierce's stomach ache at gunpoint. Dr. Fabrique isn't happy but things turn worse for him.

  

Episode 3 - Pinkytown

Doc stirs up trouble when he tells Miss Pinky Dodge City can't collect taxes from them as they aren't part of the city. Earp steps in and promises Miss Pinky a school if Pinkytown joins Dodge City but there isn't enough money.

  

Episode 4 - Shoot to Kill

After shooting a peace officer in Texas the McAlester brothers Tom and Dave head to Dodge City to escape the Texas Rangers and to see Dave's girlfriend Ms. Lucy. Earp receives notice they are wanted his plan to minimize trouble backfires.

  

Episode 5 - Wells Fargo vs. Doc Holliday

A wounded Wells Fargo stage driver says Doc Holliday and Skunky Groggin robbed the stage. Earp tracks them down playing poker and denying any involvement. Earp believes Doc but no one else does forcing Earp and Doc to prove his innocence.

  

Episode 6 - Warpath

An Army officer is captured by Pawnee Indians who have left the reservation and bought faulty guns. The undercover officer is trying to find who is selling the guns. Earp has to rescue the officer but to do so must find the seller.

  

Episode 7 - Hung Jury

Judge Tobin wants fast justice when a close and highly respected friend is found shot dead with a man holding the gun passed out in front of him. The trial ends in a hung jury due to one man causing Earp to reconsider the case.

  

Episode 8 - Little Pistol

Earp and Doc capture a very young female outlaw called Little Pistol while tracking a band who robbed Doc's saloon. She likes Earp but refuses to talk until Doc uses nitrous oxide to pull her impacted wisdom teeth causing her to open up.

  

Episode 9 - The Magic Puddle

Doc Holliday backs a couple who own land with an oil pit block access to it. Doc makes it into a medicine and sells it. However, the freighters are used to using the pit to grease their wheels resulting in gun fights over access to it.

  

Episode 10 - Mr. Buntline's Vacation

Ned Buntline arrives in Dodge City broke looking for help from Earp who is happy to help in return for the Buntline special. Buntline needs a good story so when an undercover military officer arrives, Buntline might have a good one.

  

Episode 11 - Fortitude

Earp is invited to speak at the Cattlemen's Convention at the Dodge City Opera House. A source tells Kate Holliday that it is a setup by Texas cattlemen to kill Earp. Earp foils the first attempt but he is still pressured to attend.

  

Episode 12 - The Good and Perfect Gift

A youngster who idolizes Doc Holliday wants to be like him forcing Earp and the Hollidays to try to change him. After the boy shoots his father in self-defense, they learn he has consumption: like Doc who tries to win money to treat him.

  

Episode 13 - Indian Wife

When a man insults and is shot by the Indian wife of a white man, Earp is forced intercede between the couple and her father Chief Two Moon. The wife and son have returned to her tribe hoping to prevent further trouble with the law.

  

Episode 14 - Woman Trouble

A group of thieves posing as True Lighter missionaries are stopped outside Dodge City. The leader wants Jennie Brandt to court Earp to learn the time of a Wells Fargo gold shipment. She reluctantly does the job but falls for Earp doing it.

  

Episode 15 - Shadow of a Man

While away for the day helping Sheriff Masterson, Earp appoints Hal Norton as his Chief Deputy. Hal is forced to confront several problems while Earp is gone. He recalls how Earp would act in similar cases in deciding on what to do.

  

Episode 16 - Bad Woman

A bank robbery in Dodge City is foiled by the citizens while Earp is away. Earp knows the gang is lead by the sister of one of the wounded robbers. Earp arrests the sister but she turns the tables on Earp accusing him of attacking her.

  

Episode 17 - One-Man Army

Texan Drum Denman goes after northerner Earp by backing a free newspaper to print false stories about Earp trying to draw him out of Dodge City. His second story says Earp is having an affair with the minister's teenage daughter.

  

Episode 18 - The General's Lady

Custer's widow is worried about an upcoming hearing on Major Reno's actions during Custer's last stand. A civilian scout for Reno at the battle is trying to blackmail her. They meet at Dodge City where Earp tries to intercede and help her.

  

Episode 19 - The Manly Art

A boxing promoter comes to Dodge City challenging men to fight "Champ" Starbuck for money. Local businessman Moresby is willing to pay the promoter $500 if the "Champ" fights Earp and severely injures him while a youngster wants a chance.

  

Episode 20 - Sweet Revenge

The widow Mrs. Phillips sparks interest from Earp. At the same time a convict Earp sent to prison escapes the chain gang and heads for Dodge City for revenge. Earp is conflicted on whether it is safe to take her out while the con is loose.

  

Episode 21 - The Imitation Jesse James

A bandit is striking the stagecoach near Dodge City. Based on his description Earp and Hal are sure it is the imitation Jesse James who has never been convicted. When he is spotted in Dodge City, he is arrested but once again he is freed.

  

Episode 22 - The Kansas Lily

Lily Reeve known as the Kansas Lily arrives in Dodge City. After pulling a gun while gambling, she is arrested by Earp while Bat thinks she is a nice innocent lady. Neither man's opinion about her proves to be the truth as events unfold.

  

Episode 23 - Wyatt Earp Rides Shotgun

Earp is asked by Wells Fargo to ride shotgun to help catch the Purvis gang. Earp agrees with conditions including a posse to follow the state but a grandmother complicates the situation when she refuses to wait for a later stage.

  

Episode 24 - Wyatt Fights

Earp is caught in the middle between two saloon owners who want to force the owners of the Long Branch Saloon out and take it over. Earp wants to use peaceful methods to control the situation but that will force the truth into the open.

  

Episode 25 - Ballad and Truth

Earp has to contend with the fallout and fights caused by the tall tales told by railroad engineer Tex McKay who has a desire for speed. His false accusation forces Earp to arrest Mike Denby for causing a railroad derailment.

  

Episode 26 - The Schoolteacher

The stage arrives with the driver shot and $5000 of new silver dollar coins stolen. The driver gives Earp details about the robbery but they turn out to be false. Upon his return Earp finds the driver shot dead at the doctor's office.

  

Episode 27 - When Sherman Marched Through Kansas

When word spreads through Dodge City that General Sherman would be making a stop there, havoc breaks out for Earp. Newspaper reporters, ex-Confederates, ex-Union soldiers, Indian lovers, and the local politicians all have their own plans.

  

Episode 28 - Big Brother Vigil

A divorced woman working the mayor's office and a childhood friend of the Earps, has Virgil Earp arriving to protect Wyatt from her. Her boyfriend's family is not so sure they want her in their family but are jealous of Bat and Wyatt.

  

Episode 29 - It Had to Happen

After Bat's shirt sleeve is hit by a bullet from a gunman Earp had hit in the shoulder, Mayor Kelley tell Earp he must shoot to kill. Earp is later forced to kill a man which causes him to have second thoughts about his job.

  

Episode 30 - County Seat War

The Army is pulling out of Fort Dodge leaving the civilians there with no future. They decide to be the county seat for Ford County instead of Dodge City. They try to steal the election on the decision and it is up to Earp to stop them.

  

Episode 31 - One

After his friends Mr. Cousin is wounded and Mr. Brother is killed, Earp goes after the people who did it. He learns they are the four members of the Dry Gulch Gang who attacked a supply train for the Cheyenne Indian reservation.

  

Episode 32 - The Underdog

A local girl wants to marry a painter but her family is against it. The painter was told by Buntline to ask Earp for help. He wants to learn to fight but Earp refuses but the returning Doc Holliday helps the man because he likes his work.

  

Episode 33 - Two

Earp and Bat leave Dodge City to go after the remaining three members of the Dry Gulcher Gang who killed Mr. Brother. They find them but a shave tail Army Lieutenant interferes with their capture of one them impersonating an Army corporal.

  

Episode 34 - Doc Holliday Rewrites History

A man arrives in Dodge City professing to write histories of locations. Doc Holliday decides to use him to stir up Dodge City. The man takes the photographs but Doc is to write the actual histories. Earp smells a plan to create a riot.

  

Episode 35 - Three

Two killers of the Dry Gulcher Gang have been eliminated but two are still at large. Wyatt will get them at any cost. To this end he leaves for Texas and goes on pursuing them, with the support of some local Texas Rangers.

  

Episode 36 - Dig a Grave for Ben Thompson

Ben Thompson sneaks back into Dodge City bringing trouble and two women who were both promised marriage by him. Earp becomes entangled in the problem when he is caught with both women fighting in his hotel room while Doc finds a solution.

  

Episode 37 - Four

Now in the heart of Texas, Earp is about to find the last survivor of the Dry Gulcher gang, who killed his Indian friend. But his task happens to be even tougher than expected, for the bandit is protected by a rancher and his daughter.

  

Episode 38 - The Frame-Up

An enemy of Earp's puts a plan together to frame Earp for stealing money from the railroad hoping to eliminate him. Doc Holliday intervenes when he sees some men in town he doesn't trust. Doc stretches the law as the plan nearly succeeds.

  

Episode 39 - My Husband

Earp's friends try to dissuade him from being friends with Doc Holliday as it is ruining his reputation. At the same time Doc has been playing cards with Snaky Gratton. When Snaky's gang guns down five men, the issue of Doc blows up.
