Episode 1 - The Longest Night

The BAU team closes in on the serial killer as he continues his murder spree throughout Los Angeles - with Detective Spicer's kidnapped daughter as his hostage - in the conclusion of last season's cliffhanger, on the sixth season premiere. Tim Curry ("The Rocky Horror Picture Show") returns as serial killer Billy Flynn and Robert Davi ("Profiler") reprises his role as Detective Adam Kurzbard.

  

Episode 2 - JJ

While JJ attempts to reunite a family whose daughter has mysteriously disappeared, her BAU family braces for the loss of one of their own. Gil Bellows ("Ally McBeal") and his real-life wife, Rya Kihlstedt, guest star as Jeff and Patty Joyce, the distraught parents of the missing girl.

  

Episode 3 - Remembrance of Things Past

When several women are found murdered in a similar fashion, Rossi revisits a cold case that has haunted him for 25 years, causing him to suspect that the original killer is at work again. Guest stars include Emmy Award winner Daniel J. Travanti ("Hill Street Blues") as Mr. Mullens, the original unsub that Rossi hunted in the first string of killings years ago, who now suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. Mary Beth Evans ("Days of Our Lives") guest stars as Candice DeLilly, the mother of one of the victims.

  

Episode 4 - Compromising Positions

The BAU team searches for a serial killer who is preying on married couples. Also, Hotchner looks to one of the team to fill JJ's vacant role.

  

Episode 5 - Safe Haven

The BAU team is on the trail of a serial killer targeting families throughout the Midwest. Meanwhile, Morgan is concerned when Ellie runs away from her foster family and pays him a visit. Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham ("Hill Street Blues") guest stars as Nancy Riverton, a mother who takes the possible suspect into her home, and Isabella Murad returns as Ellie Spicer, Detective Spicer's daughter.

  

Episode 6 - Devil’s Night

The BAU team must find a killer who has struck Detroit for the past three years solely during the raucous pre-Halloween celebration "Devil's Night.” Guest stars include Ernie Hudson ("Oz") as Detroit Police Lieutenant Al Garner; Leonard Roberts ("Heroes," "Drumline") as Kaman, a suspect in the Devil's Night slayings; Carl Lumbly ("Alias," "Justice League") as diner owner Jay-Mo; and Beverly Todd ("Roots," "They Call Me MISTER Tibbs!") as Susan and Michael Warren ("Hill Street Blues") as Tom, two other potential victims.

  

Episode 7 - Middle Man

When bodies begin turning up in the cornfields of Indiana, the BAU team must catch a pack of serial killers targeting exotic dancers. Guest stars include Robert Newman ("Guiding Light") as Sheriff Jeff Salters, who aids the team in its investigation, and Melissa Claire Egan ("All My Children") as exotic dancer Tara Dice.

  

Episode 8 - Reflection of Desire

When a kidnapped woman is found murdered in an alley in Georgetown, the BAU team goes on the hunt for the killer before he can strike again. Guest stars include Academy Award Nominee Sally Kirkland ("Anna," "JFK") as 1950s film actress May, and Robert Knepper ("Heroes," "Prison Break") as her devoted son, Rhett.

  

Episode 9 - Into the Woods

When an 8-year-old is found murdered on the Appalachian Trail, the BAU team goes deep into its forests in search of a man lurking in the wilderness who is targeting children.

  

Episode 10 - What Happens At Home

The BAU searches inside a gated New Mexico community for a killer targeting women, and Hotchner looks to an FBI cadet with a unique past for help with the investigation. Rachel Nichols ("Star Trek," "Alias") guest stars as Agent Ashley Seaver, an FBI cadet with a troubled past who assists with the case.

  

Episode 11 - 25 to Life

Morgan suggests that a man has been rehabilitated and aids in his parole, but later regrets his decision when the man murders someone days after being released. Rachel Nichols ("Star Trek," "Alias") returns as Agent Ashley Seaver. Guest stars include Kyle Secor ("Homicide: Life on the Street") as recently paroled Don Sanderson and Philip Casnoff ("Sinatra," "Strong Medicine") as Congressman James Stanworth.

  

Episode 12 - Corazon

As the BAU travels to Miami to investigate a series of bizarre, ritualistic murders, Reid suffers a series of blinding headaches and hallucinations that leave him concerned for his health. Rachel Nichols ("Star Trek," "Alias") returns as Agent Ashley Seaver.

  

Episode 13 - The Thirteenth Step

The BAU hits the road to track down a pair of young lovers on an interstate murder spree. Also, Prentiss hears frightening news from her former boss at Interpol. Guest Stars include Adrienne Palicki ("Friday Night Lights," "Lone Star") and Jonathan Tucker ("The Black Donnellys") as Sydney and Ray, the young lovers on the run; and Angus Macfayden ("Braveheart") as Sean McAllister, Prentiss' former colleague.

  

Episode 14 - Sense Memory

The BAU travels to Los Angeles to investigate unusual murders throughout the city. Also, more of Prentiss' mysterious past comes to light. Guest stars include Brad William Henke ("Lost," "Dexter") as taxi driver Steve; Matthew Glave ("ER," "Army Wives") as Detective Bailey, who assists the investigation; Stacey Oristano ("Friday Night Lights") as missing woman Anisa Gold; and Timothy V. Murphy ("24") as Ian Doyle, a person from Prentiss' past.

  

Episode 15 - Today I Do

The BAU is called to upstate New York to investigate mysterious disappearances. Also, Prentiss gets some disturbing news about one of her former Interpol colleagues. Guest stars include Rachel Miner as a missing person, Molly; Corbin Bernsen as Molly's father, Jerry; and Joshua Leonard as Molly's boyfriend, Lyle.

  

Episode 16 - Coda

Reid makes a connection with an autistic child that could assist the BAU in finding the boy's missing parents. Also, Prentiss enlists two former Interpol colleagues in hunting an old nemesis. Guest Stars include Sebastian Roché ("General Hospital," "Fringe") as Clyde Easter, one of Prentiss' former colleagues; Jessica Lundy ("Hope & Gloria") as missing parent Alison Sparks; Mimi Kennedy ("Dharma & Greg," "Homefront") as teacher Miss Rogers; and Romy Rosemont ("Glee," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") as Lizzie Sparks, the young boy's estranged aunt.

  

Episode 17 - Valhalla

After a series of suspicious murders occur, Prentiss suspects her old Interpol nemesis, making her fear for the safety of her BAU team as he closes in on her.

  

Episode 18 - Lauren

Prentiss is ready to confront her nemesis, Ian Doyle, once and for all. Meanwhile, the BAU calls upon JJ to help them find Prentiss and capture Doyle before it's too late.

  

Episode 19 - With Friends Like These

When a gang of suspected murderers begins targeting a new victim each night, the BAU travels to Portland to head them off before they can strike again.

  

Episode 20 - Hanley Waters

As the BAU investigates targeted killings in Tampa, they also deal with their own feelings about the loss of Prentiss.

  

Episode 21 - The Stranger

The BAU hunts a stalker in San Diego who is targeting college students. Meanwhile, the team comes under Strauss' scrutiny in the wake of the loss of Prentiss. Indianapolis Colts tight end Dallas Clark guest stars as San Diego Police Officer Austin Kent, who assists the BAU with the investigation.

  

Episode 22 - Out of the Light

The BAU is called to a North Carolina mountain town after a woman is found badly injured and another is missing, and they discover that these two are not the only victims.

  

Episode 23 - Big Sea

The BAU is Florida-bound to investigate bodies discovered buried in the ocean floor off Jacksonville, but the case rattles Morgan when his aunt suspects that her missing daughter is one of the victims. Denise Dowse ("The Guardian," "Beverly Hills, 90210") guest stars as Morgan's aunt, Yvonne Burns.

  

Episode 24 - Supply & Demand

The bodies of two missing persons are found in a car trunk, and the BAU suspects that an interstate human trafficking ring is at work. Also, Hotch warns the team of possible changes, and they are surprised when a beloved team member returns. A.J. Cook returns as Jennifer "JJ" Jareau. Nicholas Brendon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") returns as Garcia's boyfriend, Kevin Lynch. Amy Price-Francis ("24") guest stars as SSA Andi Swan, head of the Domestic Trafficking Task Force, who assists the BAU on the case.
