Paget Brewster returns as Emily Prentiss and A.J. Cook returns as Jennifer “JJ” Jareau. Mark Moses (“Desperate Housewives,” “Mad Men”) guest stars as Cramer, a member of the Senate committee interrogating the BAU.

Episode 2 - ProofThe BAU team searches rural Oklahoma when women are being found murdered after being robbed of one of their five senses. Also, JJ and Prentiss get the cold shoulder from Reid as he deals with their deception about Prentiss' presumed death.

Also, Rossi reconnects with his first wife who has shocking news for him. Isabella Hoffman ("JAG," "Homicide: Life on the Street") guest stars as Rossi's ex-wife, Carolyn. Additional guest stars include Emmy Award winner Heather Tom ("The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful") as young mother Connie, and Annie Fitzgerald ("True Blood") as troubled mother Marlene Smith.

Episode 6 - EpilogueThe BAU search California’s Angeles National Forest after a number of bodies mysteriously turn up in the mountain lakes there. Also, Rossi struggles with an agonizing decision regarding his ex-wife. Isabella Hoffmann returns as Rossi’s ex-wife, Carolyn. Zach Filkins from the hit music group One Republic guest stars as a forest ranger.

Episode 7 - There’s No Place Like HomeWhen a series of tornadoes hits Kansas, the BAU is called in to investigate bodies of young boys that turn up in the aftermath of the storms. Also, work pressures cause tension on JJ’s home front. Josh Stewart (“Third Watch,” “No Ordinary Family”) returns as Detective William LaMontagne, Jr., JJ’s longtime boyfriend.

Guest stars include Jack Coleman (“Heroes”) as Bill, a man in Garcia’s survivors support group, and Brigid Brannagh (“Army Wives”) as Monica, Garcia’s missing friend.

Episode 9 - Self-Fulfilling ProphecyThe BAU team looks into the real reasons behind an apparent mass suicide of a small group of youths at a military academy. Also, Hotch and Morgan butt heads when a team member could be in jeopardy. Emmy Award-nominated actor Rene Auberjonois (“Boston Legal,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”) guest stars as Ron Massey, headmaster of the military academy.

Also, Reid ponders if he should be doing more with his genius abilities. Best-selling crime novelist Patricia Cornwell guest stars as herself, as a guest at a violent crime seminar attended by Reid and Prentiss.

Episode 12 - Unknown SubjectThe BAU team searches for a serial rapist in Houston known as “The Piano Man” who has resurfaced and is assaulting his previous victims. Also, Prentiss tries to come to terms with her trauma from last year and with rejoining the team. Guest stars include Jay Karnes (“The Shield,” “Sons of Anarchy”) as pianist Hamilton Bartholomew, Dina Meyer (“Starship Troopers”) as waitress and Piano Man victim Regina Lampert, and Penny Peyser (“Crazy Like a Fox,” “Knots Landing”) as Prentiss’ therapist Dr. Linda Merrill.

Episode 13 - Snake EyesThe BAU tries their luck in Atlantic City when the team is called in to investigate a series of ritualistic casino-related murders. Also, after a spat with her boyfriend, Kevin, Garcia thinks she and Morgan may have gotten a little too friendly with each other.

Paul Johansson (“One Tree Hill”) guest stars as mayoral candidate Clark Preston.

Episode 16 - A Family AffairWhen the BAU travels to Atlanta to investigate the murders of women, the clues lead them to look for an unsub who is not working alone. Guest stars include William Russ (“The Ex-List,” “Boy Meets World”) and Kathy Baker (“Picket Fences,” “Boston Legal”) as parents Donald and Linda Collins; Merle Dandridge (“Sons of Anarchy”) as Agent Lynn Brooks, who assists the BAU in the investigation; and Fiona Gubelmann (“Wilfred”) as physical therapist Erika Taylor.

Episode 17 - FoundationWhen a scared, emaciated young boy is found in the Arizona desert and another boy winds up missing, the BAU begins searching for the kidnapper as Morgan, reaching into his own scarred past, tries to bond with the found child. Guest stars include Garrett M. Brown (“Roswell,” “Sisters”) as real estate developer J. B. Allen and Jackson Pace (“Homeland”) as missing child Billy Henderson.

Episode 19 - Heathridge ManorThe BAU team heads to Oregon to investigate a series of gothic, ritualistic murders. Series star Matthew Gray Gubler directed the episode. Guest stars include Robert Englund (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”) as Detective Gassner, who assists the BAU with the investigation, and Juliet Landau (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Ed Wood”) as psychiatric patient Catherine Heathridge.

Episode 20 - The CompanyWhen Morgan’s sister sees a woman who looks like their presumed-dead cousin, Cindi, it forces Morgan to confront a lie he told his family last year to provide closure and compels the BAU to reopen the case of her disappearance.
