Season 2 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Grumpy Old Liv

In the season premiere, Liv consumes the brain of a cantankerous old man to help gain insight into his death. After receiving an anonymous call on the tipster hotline, Liv and Detective Babineaux stop by the residence of Byron Thistlewaite (guest star Adam Rose — Veronica Mars) to question the mysterious caller. Meanwhile, Ravi suspects that Major might be experiencing a side effect of the cure, and Liv pays Blaine a surprise visit.


Episode 2 - Zombie Bro

Liv and Detective Babineaux investigate the murder of a hard-partying frat boy whose death shocks everyone. After consuming his brains, Liv attends a fraternity party in an attempt to search for clues, but ends up ruling the "beer pong" table instead. Still desperate to find the cure, Ravi takes matters into his own hands and brings Major along for the ride. Meanwhile, Blaine meets with Angus (guest star Robert Knepper – Prison Break, Heroes, Cult), a mysterious person from his past.


Episode 3 - Real Dead Housewives of Seattle

Liv eats the brains of a recently murdered trophy wife who was pushed to her death from the balcony of her stunning architectural home in the hills by a hired hit man. A Pinot Grigio–sipping, suddenly fashion-obsessed Liv and Detective Babineaux begin questioning suspects in their search for the original brains behind this murder. Meanwhile, Liv and Ravi are surprised to learn that Peyton (recurring guest star Aly Michalka) has returned to Seattle.


Episode 4 - Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues

While investigating a case, Liv eats the brains of a country music–singing waitress. Detective Babineaux meets a female FBI agent who will be working out of their offices. Blaine tries to entice a former business associate to come back to the dark side. Meanwhile, Peyton's (recurring guest star Aly Michalka) return is messing up Ravi's game, and Major continues his downward spiral.


Episode 5 - Love & Basketball

Liv, Detective Babineaux and Ravi investigate the mysterious death of a youth basketball coach. Liv, who is currently consumed with the brain of an overzealous coach, gives Major a much-needed pep talk. Meanwhile, things get a little crazy when Blaine and Ravi are forced to work together to recreate the cure. Lastly, Detective Babineaux receives a surprise visit from Suzuki's widow, Helen (recurring guest star Carmen Moore — Blackstone, Supernatural).


Episode 6 - Max Wager

Liv unwittingly crosses paths with the most dangerous man in Seattle while investigating the murder of degenerate gambler Harry (guest star Ray Galletti). Detective Babineaux has a super-fan moment when he and Liv question NBA Hall of Famer Calvin Owens (guest star and former basketball champ Rick Fox) at Harry's funeral. Meanwhile, Blaine's father (recurring guest star Robert Knepper — Prison Break) makes a huge discovery, and Ravi delivers some bad news. Major continues to struggle.


Episode 7 - Abra Cadaver

Liv consumes the brains of a death-obsessed illusionist who was murdered in cold blood during a magicians' convention in Seattle. As Liv and Detective Babineaux investigate the case, she uses her new skills to help narrow down the suspect pool. Meanwhile, Blaine gives Liv some interesting news, and Ravi makes a decision but things don't end up going quite as planned. Lastly, Major continues to distance himself from Liv.


Episode 8 - The Hurt Stalker

Detective Babineaux arrives at the crime scene of a wedding planner who was shot to death, and is shocked to realize that he used to date the victim. To make matters worse, it seems the murder victim was stalking Detective Babineaux, and he is now the number one suspect in her murder. Liv and Ravi pose as an engaged couple in order to infiltrate the victim's wedding planning business. Meanwhile, Major is having a tough time dealing with Liv after she's consumed the brains of a stalker. Recurring guest star Steven Weber appears as Vaughn Du Clark.


Episode 9 - Cape Town

Liv, Detective Babineaux and Ravi work together in solving the murder of Chris Allred (guest star Jay Hindle) — a high school teacher by day and a vigilante crime fighter named "The Fog" by night. Liv gets into trouble while on super hero brains and becomes a little too much for Clive to handle. Meanwhile, Major has an eye-opening conversation with a new friend, and Blaine forces Liv to do the unthinkable.


Episode 10 - Method Head

Liv is crushed to discover that the lead actor on her favorite show, Zombie High, has been murdered on set. Meanwhile, Vaughn (recurring guest star Steven Weber) tests Major's loyalty, Ravi delivers bad news and Blaine receives an unexpected visitor.


Episode 11 - Fifty Shades of Grey Matter

Things become interesting for Liv when she and Clive investigate the murder of a young librarian who was secretly a writer of erotic fiction. Meanwhile, things heat up between Blaine and someone quite unexpected, and Major is hit with an unforeseen snag in his plan.


Episode 12 - Physician, Heal Thy Selfie

Detective Babineaux and Liv are investigating a triple homicide, and Liv is shocked to learn that the victims’ bodies are missing their heads. A very hungry Liv is forced to consume the brain of an unfortunate social media–hungry soul who was recently run over by a bus. Meanwhile, Peyton (recurring guest star Aly Michalka) leans on Ravi for support, and things get interesting when Blaine’s worlds start to collide.


Episode 13 - The Whopper

Liv and Detective Babineaux investigate the murder of Corey "Big Fish" Carp, who they learn got his nickname not because of his last name, but because he was a well-known pathological liar. Ravi makes an unsettling discovery and Blaine is reunited with someone from his past. Meanwhile, Major finds himself in a precarious situation.


Episode 14 - Eternal Sunshine of the Caffeinated Mind

When an incredibly optimistic coffee-shop owner is murdered, Liv uses her sunny outlook to help Clive solve the murder. Meanwhile, things begin to go from bad to worse for Blaine, and Drake (recurring guest star Greg Finley — The Secret Life of the American Teenager) is forced to cancel plans with Liv due to a run in with Seattle's finest. Enrico Colantoni (Veronica Mars, Person of Interest) guest stars.


Episode 15 - He Blinded Me . . . with Science

While investigating the murder of a research scientist who was recently demoted at her job, Liv and Detective Babineaux are shocked to learn where she had been employed. Meanwhile, Blaine pays Ravi a visit at the morgue, and Liv discovers something new about Drake (recurring guest star Greg Finley). Lastly, Vaughn Du Clark (recurring guest star Steven Weber) confronts Major.


Episode 16 - Pour Some Sugar, Zombie

Liv consumes the brain of a recently murdered stripper and uncovers some extremely useful information. Meanwhile, Blaine isn't quite himself lately, and Ravi makes a startling discovery. Lastly, Major and Ravi are helping Peyton (recurring guest star Aly Michalka) move back in with Liv when she receives a surprising phone call.


Episode 17 - Reflections of the Way Liv Used to Be

Liv and Detective Babineaux are investigating the murder of Bailey Barker (guest star Haley Marie Norman — Fired Up!), a type-A, ambitious, hyper-competitive and driven student near the top of her class. After consuming Bailey's brain, Liv becomes very much like the girl she was before becoming a zombie. Meanwhile, things seem to be going from bad to worse for Major, and Blaine reaches out to Ravi for help.


Episode 18 - Dead Beat

Liv and Ravi are in need of help and find an unlikely ally in Blaine. Detective Babineaux and Dale Bozzio (recurring guest star Jessica Harmon) pursue a new lead on an old case. Meanwhile, when Major finds himself in a world of trouble, sleazebag Brant Stone (guest star Ken Marino — Childrens Hospital, Party Down, Veronica Mars) comes to his rescue. Vaughn's (recurring guest star Steven Weber) evil side reaches a whole new level of mean.


Episode 19 - Salivation Army

Working together on a mission, Liv, Detective Babineaux and Major crash Vaughn's (recurring guest star Steven Weber) Super Max Rager party, where singer Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20 — guest starring as himself) performs a song from his solo repertoire. Meanwhile, Blaine reaches out to Peyton (recurring guest star Aly Michalka) for help, which does not sit well with Ravi.
