Episode 1 - Episodes 1 & 2

D.C.I. Tennison investigates the murder of a young girl found dead in a seedy bedsit with bruises all over her body. Learning that the body was wrongly identified by D.C.I. Shellord, a fatal twist is just around the corner as another body is discovered on a golf course, with the exact same markings.

     

Episode 2 - Episodes 3 & 4

In this concluding episode, Marlow, the murder investigation's main suspect, is released from police custody and sells his story to the papers. Meanwhile, Tennison returns to Brixton prison to interview Marlow's old cell mates. Probing questions lead to an important discovery - Marlow has a lock - and on further examination, some grizzly truths are uncovered.
