Fast-talking lawyer Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) enrolls at Greendale Community College after the State Bar discovered his illegitimate degree and threatened to suspend his license. When Jeff pretends to be a Spanish tutor to get close to his classmate Britta (Gillian Jacobs), he winds up with an entire study group of students looking for his help. Alan takes Jeff to a law firm event to see his former boss, Ted (Drew Carey), and the study group shows up to “rescue” him. BASIC ROCKET SCIENCE - GREENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE JOINS THE SPACE RACE AS THE SCHOOL GETS ITS FIRST “FLIGHT SIMULATOR” – Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) decides that Greendale Community College must have its own flight simulator and cannot be bested by the competition, “City College,” which is planning its own flight simulator. He enlists the study group to clean and refurbish the Greendale Community College simulator. As Jeff (Joel McHale), Pierce (Chevy Chase), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Annie (Alison Brie), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Troy (Donald Glover) wash the tattered simulator down, they end up accidentally launching it – sending everyone on an unexpected journey into “outer space.” Abed (Danny Pudi) is left behind to try and navigate a safe “return” for everyone. The group reacts to Starburns’ death and they offer to have a memorial for him. Jeff could not care less until he learns that Professor Kane has quit in shame over Starburns' death and they have to retake Biology over the summer. This activates Jeff to organize a protest/wake for Starburns. It quickly turns into the group blasting the Dean for all his faults and blows up into a full on revolt. The school board gets pissed about the riot and calls a meeting with the Dean. Jeff agrees this has gone too far and agrees to back the Dean at the board meeting. At the meeting, Chang’s imposter dean throws the group under the bus and they get expelled from Greendale. Chang tries to overthrow the Dean when he allows him Chang to have martial law on campus.The Dean fires him. Chang knocks out the Dean and replaces him with “Fauxby”. Britta tries and fails to help the group cope with their feelings about Starburns' death.

  

Episode 68 - Season 3, Episode 19: Curriculum Unavailable

A couple weeks after the group is expelled from Greendale, Abed starts to go insane and is busted by the cops for going through the Dean's trash. He is recommended to go to therapy and the rest of the group joins him for support. Through a series of flashbacks the therapists diagnoses Abed and whole group as insane and drops the bomb that there was never a Greendale in the first place. They have all been locked up in a mental institution their entire time at Greendale. Jeff quickly realizes the therapist is a lying quack and forces him to reveal that he's been working for Chang to get the group of his scent of deposing the Dean. This activates the group to go back to Greendale to reclaim their enrollment at school.

  

Episode 69 - Season 3, Episode 20: Digital Estate Planning

Pierce gets his inheritance from his dead father and learns that he has secretly been working on a videogame that, when you win it, unlocks his full inheritance. He and the group go to play the game and help win him his inheritance, but are thwarted by his father’s old assistant Gilbert, who is a master at the game and wants the inheritance for himself. The group unites to take down Gilbert, but he’s too powerful. Gilbert ends up getting to the final level only to have Pierce’s father tell him he’s not worthy. We discover that Gilbert is Pierce’s half brother and the group helps him finally win the inheritance. Abed falls in love with a video game character inside the game.

  

Episode 70 - Season 3, Episode 21: First Chang Dynasty

The group realizes they have to take down Chang themselves in a caper. Chang is running Greendale into the ground, but board thinks he’s doing a great job because of lies. It’s his birthday and the group surveys the campus. Troy reaches out to the AC school for help, but they won’t help unless they can have Troy. He turns the AC people down. They break into Chang’s birthday gala with classic caper beats. The get to the room where the Dean is being held and they get caught. They get imprisoned. Chang tells them he’s going to burn down the school to cover up his mess. The group manages to escape and gets into a razor scooter chase with Chang’s kid minions. Chang escapes at the last minute and the board realizes everything has been a lie. They put the Dean back in power to clean up the mess Chang made and the group is reinstated at Greendale. Because they ended up getting help from the AC school, Troy has to leave the group to join them.

  

Episode 71 - Season 3, Episode 22: Introduction to Finality

Shirley and Pierce learn that their sandwich shop will get put in the cafeteria. The instantly fight over who’s name will be on the lease and it escalates to Pierce suing Shirley and taking her to court. Jeff steps into be Shirley’s attorney and Alan Conner (Jeff’s former co-worker) represents Pierce. Alan asks Jeff to throw the case to get his old job back at the law firm when he graduates. Shirley allows him to, but her selflessness makes him realize that his friends are more important and his brilliant closing argument causes Pierce to drop the suit. Britta tries to be Abed’s therapist to help cope with the loss of Troy to the AC school, but the therapy brings out Evil Abed. He makes Britta cry and tries to make his dark timeline a reality. He goes to cut off Jeff’s arm (per the dark timeline) but Jeff’s impassioned closing argument snaps the real Abed back. Dean Laybourne takes Troy under his wing at the AC school, but Troy is incredibly bored. Laybourne gets killed in a freak AC accident and Troy smells something fishy. Instead of leaving the trade school he stays and challenges Murray (Laybourne’s former underling) to an ancient AC competition. He beats Murray and learns that he’s the one who killed Laybourne.

  

Episode 72 - Season 4, Episode 1: History 101

When Jeff (Joel McHale) announces his plan to graduate early, Abed (Danny Pudi) retreats to his “happy place”—a cheesy sitcom version of Greendale where the study group must start over as freshmen. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) fights with Britta (Gillian Jacobs) over a first-day-of-school tradition and Annie (Alison Brie) worries that she is the only one of her friends who hasn’t changed for the better.

Episode 105 - Season 6, Episode 8: Intro to Recyclyed Cinema

After a commercial where he stars as the Kolb Family Farms “Ham Girl Guy” makes him an Internet sensation, Chang leaves Greendale to pursue fame in Hollywood. Abed regrets that the movie they started before he left will never be finished. Frankie turns to her friend and movie producer Maury for advice. Maury says a low budget sci-fi movie incorporating Abed’s old footage could earn Greendale $500,000.

  

Episode 106 - Season 6, Episode 9: Grifting 101

Because he already considers himself an experienced con man, Jeff refuses to enroll in Greendale’s Basic Grifting class and advises his friends against it, too. Dismissing his warning as jealousy, Annie, Frankie, Abed, Elroy, Chang, and Britta sign up for Professor Roger DeSalvo’s Grifting 101. But when they are each conned into spending $150 on a regulation “grifting briefcase,” the group concludes Jeff was right and asks him to help get revenge.

  

Episode 107 - Season 6, Episode 10: Basic Rv Repair & Palmistry

After Frankie arranges to sell a nineteen-foot fiberglass hand that Dean Pelton bought for Greendale seven years ago, Elroy offers his RV for a study group road trip to deliver it to its new owner. On their way, the RV's battery dies, leaving the crew stranded in the dark.

  

Episode 108 - Season 6, Episode 11: Modern Espionage

After Frankie banned Greendale's yearly paintball game, the game has gone underground and is threatening to ruin Frankie's "Cleaner Greendale" gala. At Frankie's request, it is now up to Jeff and the crew to stop the paintball game and expose "Silverballs", an unknown player who shoots silver paintballs.

  

Episode 109 - Season 6, Episode 12: Wedding Videography

Garret gets engaged in Jeff's classroom and Jeff and the crew are invited to the wedding. After arriving late to the ceremony, making a scene at the reception, and being told off by the groom's mother, the crew splits off and tries to be the best wedding guests ever.

  

Episode 110 - Season 6, Episode 13: Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Televison

As their sixth year at Greendale draws to a close, Abed (Danny Pudi) asks everyone to imagine pitching a TV show about what they would do in season seven. Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong also star.
