Episode 1 - Battle for a White Apron, Part 1

Forty of the country's best home cooks compete in the Battle of the Apron challenge.

The home cooks go head-to-head with their culinary skills as the Battle of the Apron challenge continues.

  

Episode 3 - Wolfgang Puck

The Top 20 home cooks meet the first guest judge of the season, culinary icon Wolfgang Puck, who introduces the first Mystery Box Challenge.

  

Episode 4 - A MasterChef Wedding

In their first field challenge, the Top 18 home cooks have to prepare appetizers and entrees for season 6’s Nick Nappi on his wedding day!

  

Episode 5 - A Mexican Mystery

The remaining 17 home cooks are greeted by special guests Aarón Sánchez and Claudia Sandoval, as they reveal the next mystery box challenge.

  

Episode 6 - Gordon Ramsay Masterclass

The remaining 16 home cooks get a very special treat, as Chef Ramsay demonstrates how to properly deconstruct a lobster.

  

Episode 7 - Vets, Jets and Home Cooks

The remaining 15 home cooks separate into 2 teams for the second major field challenge of the competition, cooking for 101 hungry veterans!

  

Episode 8 - The Good, the Bad and the Offal

The contestants are introduced to special culinary guest judge chef Edward Lee, who reveals the third Mystery Box challenge.

  

Episode 9 - A Piece of Cake

The remaining 12 contestants are broken up into 2 teams to prep, cook & plate 30 dishes for teenagers celebrating their Sweet 16 birthdays.

  

Episode 10 - The Weakest Links/Sweet Surpise

The losing contestants from last week are faced with the Birthday Cake pressure test & have 90 minutes to bake a three-layer birthday cake.

  

Episode 11 - 5-Star Food/Hot Potato

Guest judge Kevin Sbraga cooks alongside the Top 9 in the Mystery Box Challenge, as they create a dish using unique upscale ingredients.

  

Episode 12 - Tag Team/Pop-Up Restaurant

The seven remaining cooks compete in their next Mystery Box Challenge using three basic utensils to prepare two dishes.

  

Episode 13 - Family Drama/Critics Choice

The five remaining contestants are introduced to special culinary guest judge Richard Blais who reveals the seventh Mystery Box challenge.

  

Episode 14 - The Finale

On the two hour season finale, the remaining three home cooks, with help from some familiar faces, create their final dishes.
