Episode 1 - 18 Chefs CompeteAn all new set of contestants tries to impress Chef Gordon Ramsay with their culinary skills in order to win the coveted position of head chef at New York City's BLT Steak restaurant.

Episode 2 - 16 Chefs CompeteThe remaining chefs try to rebound from their disastrous first dinner service. Their challenge this episode? Preparing New York steak strips, rib eyes, filets and burgers.

Episode 3 - 15 Chefs CompeteIn this episode, the remaining contestants receive a wakeup call from clowns. They must prepare pasta and quesadillas for fifty kids and panini sandwiches for their moms.

Episode 4 - 14 Chefs CompeteChef Ramsay gives the contestants a chicken challenge that includes catching live fowl. The winners spend a day riding in go-karts while the losers prepare chickens for the next service.

Episode 5 - 13 Chefs CompeteThe remaining chefs get a demonstration in dessert preparation using sound waves and liquid nitrogen then must steam, poach or boil protein-based dishes.

Episode 6 - 12 Chefs CompeteThe contestants prepare Hawaiian dishes for a high school's twentieth reunion. The winners spend the day on a yacht while the losers transform Hell's Kitchen to look Hawaiian.

Episode 7 - 11 Chefs CompeteThe chefs prepare five dishes that must include at least one type of beer. The winners attend the Long Beach Grand Prix IndyCar race while the losers unload kegs of beer and bags of ice.

Episode 8 - 10 Chefs CompeteThe ten budding chefs prepare comfort foods, with Wolfgang Puck judging them.

Episode 9 - 9 Chefs CompeteContestants need to be at their sweetest when Chef Ramsay gives them a dessert challenge. The winning team flies to Sin City while the losers prep the kitchen for a "Date Night."

Episode 10 - 8 Chefs CompeteThe remaining chefs are put to a blind taste test. The winners ride horses in the Hollywood Hills while the losers peel grapes.

Episode 11 - 7 Chefs CompeteThe seven remaining competitors visit New York City, where they tour BLT Steak. When they return to Hell's Kitchen, their challenge is to prepare ethnic dishes.

Episode 12 - 6 Chefs CompeteThe teams must prepare three dishes. The catch? One must be made in thirty minutes, one in twenty and the last in only ten minutes.

Episode 13 - 5 Chefs Compete (Part One)For the first time in "Hell's Kitchen" history, chefs from prior seasons return to compete with the remaining competitors.

Episode 14 - 5 Chefs Compete (Part Two)In this episode's challenge, each chef must create something special from Alaskan salmon. The winner gets a helicopter ride and lunch at LA's Water Grill.

Episode 15 - 4 Chefs CompeteThe final four chefs eat a dish prepared by Chef Ramsay. For their challenge, they must recreate it in 35 minutes.

Episode 16 - 2 Chefs CompeteWhile wearing new white dinner jackets, the final contestants prepare a menu consisting of four appetizers, four entrees and three desserts.
