Ellie Taylor joins returning judges in welcoming the new potters; after shaping children's crockery sets and ceramic milk bottles, one will be crowned the first potter of the week.

     

Episode 2 - S5 EP2 Pendulum Wall Clock

The 11 remaining potters hand-build a pendulum wall clock and face a surprise blindfold challenge; judges must decide who is potter of the week, and who will leave the pottery.

     

Episode 3 - S5 EP3 Inanimate Objects and a Bottle Kiln Challenge

Ellie takes the remaining potters to their home towns with an inanimate object challenge; judges Keith and Rich pay tribute to the pottery hometown of Stoke.

     

Episode 4 - S5 EP4 Japanese Tea Set and a Handle Pulling Challenge

It's Raku week and the remaining potters throw a Japanese-inspired tea set, before guest judge and social media sensation Florian Gadsby sets them a handle pulling challenge.

     

Episode 5 - S5 EP5 Character Gnomes And A Sea Kale Forcer

It's Garden Week and the eight remaining potters create a trio of character gnomes; in the biggest second challenge ever, guest judge Adam Keeling from Whichford Pottery tasks the potters with making a sea kale forcer.

     

Episode 6 - S5 EP6 1960s Glazed Vessels & Repeating Patterns

The potters return to the Swinging Sixties, creating a psychedelic pair of highly decorative glazed vessels, before guest judge Orla Kiely tests their repeating-pattern skills.

     

Episode 7 - S5 EP7 Wildlife Week and Hand-Built Table Lamps

It's Wildlife Week and the remaining potters are set an illuminating challenge to hand-build an animal table lamp; the potters go wild in the second challenge.

     

Episode 8 - S5 EP8 Self-Sculpture, Sawdust Kilns and Candlesticks

Siobhán McSweeney returns, as the five remaining potters create a self-sculpture, build their own sawdust kilns and make candlesticks under pressure for a place in the semifinal.

     

Episode 9 - S5 EP9 Urinals and Wedgwood Jasperware

The final four must flush away their nerves to create functional urinals, and then recreate iconic Wedgwood Jasperware for the remaining three spots.

     

Episode 10 - S5 EP10 The Final

The potters make a garden totem sculpture that tells their life story, followed by a regal devil's work challenge set by Rich Miller.
