Episode 1 - Back in Time

Chefs tackle retro ingredients like a familiar can and a space-age beverage in the first basket, then the final contestants work with a refreshment named for a movie legend in the dessert basket.

  

Episode 2 - Viewers' Vengeance

Difficult baskets are guaranteed when four lucky chefs arrive for a viewers' choice competition! The fans pick a creepy protein and a bloody soup for the first round. Then, offal and atole get the sweet treatment for dessert.

  

Episode 3 - Entree Basket Blues

The chefs are challenged by canned ham and mussels in the appetizer round, and things get tougher with a bright blue ingredient in the entree round. The final two chefs try to impress the judges with fruit-and-fries creations.

  

Episode 4 - Holiday Reality Check

Reality television stars Les Gold, Claudia Jordan, Jenni Pulos and Karina Smirnoff take over the kitchen. One competitor has never eaten a common vegetable from the entree basket, then the dessert round becomes unpredictable.

  

Episode 5 - Taco Time!

The chefs are tasked with showcasing their take on the taco and the judges talk tripe and mustard rabe in round one. Then, the finalists bring tortillas to the sweet side with inventive desserts that include Mexican chocolate.

  

Episode 6 - Sweet Heat

Chefs must overcome a basket that includes something called pizza but isn't recognizable as the classic dish before moving on to a two-protein round and then a dessert round that must include both sweet and spicy elements.

  

Episode 7 - Betting on the Farm

Chefs work with farm-fresh ingredients in rounds that also include poultry, pickled chilies and lamb before reaching a dessert round so strange everyone's left wondering how the competition will end.

  

Episode 8 - New Year's Bash

In the first ever Chopped New Year's Party, the competitors start the celebration with premium ingredients in the appetizer and entree baskets. The last two chefs face dressed-up ice cream cones and limited grapes for dessert.

  

Episode 9 - Million Dollar Baskets

No expense has been spared with these top-dollar ingredients! The chefs get to work with caviar and a very pricey seafood in the first round, a deliciously rare item in round two and a $100 breakfast item in the last basket.

  

Episode 10 - Basket Buzz

The first basket includes a giant circle of dough and veggies that only look like tiny watermelons. Then chewy candy and sweet cheese are on the entree plates, followed by green leaves and blueberries for dessert.

  

Episode 11 - Wild Times

Straight from nature to the chefs' baskets, the first round features an aquatic wonder and a delicate flower, then an imposing root and a wild beast are part of the entree round. The final wild round features berries and butter.

  

Episode 12 - Clean Eatin'

The chefs are challenged to make healthy dishes that are suitable for someone who's watching their weight and concerned about nutrition. Legumes confound some of the chefs, and they try to make tasty fruit-and-grain desserts.

  

Episode 13 - Whiskey and Wings

Whiskey and wings make an appearance in the appetizer, entree and dessert baskets, guaranteeing a good time in each round!
