Episode 1 - My Intern's EyesDr. Cox puts J.D.'s skills as an attending to the test. J.D. (Zach Braff) struggles with decision-making and responsibility now that he is an attending physician, all the while Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) is testing his skills. And while Elliot (Sarah Chalke) is learning the ropes in her new hospital, she still feels more comfortable hanging out at Sacred Heart. Meanwhile, Carla (Judi Reyes) is ready to have a baby, but Turk (Donald Faison) afraid of moving forward continues to slip her birth control pills. Ken Jenkins and Neil Flynn also star.

Episode 2 - My Rite of PassageSecrets and Lies - J.D. (Zach Braff) questions the bond he has with his interns when Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) tells him that inevitably he will begin treating them badly, as it has been throughout history at the hospital. The Janitor (Neil Flynn) further complicates matters by telling J.D. that his interns only laugh at his jokes to suck up to him. Meanwhile, Carla (Judy Reyes) visits Elliot (Sarah Chalke) at her new job and inadvertently creates an awkward new nickname for her friend when she tells her colleagues an embarrassing story. Elsewhere, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) prevents Turk (Donald Faison) from warning Jordan (Christa Miller) about a notorious con man patient (guest star Alexander Chaplin) in hopes that she’ll be mortified and quit.

Episode 3 - My Day At the RacesJ.D. struggles with turning 30, while Turk tries to make a good impression on the higher-ups - While planning his birthday fiesta, J.D. (Zach Braff) finds a list of things he wanted to accomplish before he turned 30. When he discovers he has accomplished none of them, he enters a triathlon. Meanwhile, Elliot (Sarah Chalke), in an effort to break her boyfriend out of his shell, discovers a side of him that freaks her out. Back at Sacred Heart, in an attempt to be promoted, Turk (Donald Faison) is working hard to impress his bosses and takes on a patient who wants to be hypnotized during surgery rather than using anesthesia. John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins and Neil Flynn also star.

Episode 4 - My Jiggly BallToo Proud - When J.D. (Zach Braff) is asked to introduce Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) at an awards dinner, he sets out to discover something good to say about the grouchy doctor. Meanwhile, Dr. Kelso and Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) each have a patient whom they feel deserves the benefit of a new experimental treatment, but a moral standoff ensues when there is only one open slot in the program. Elsewhere, Carla (Judy Reyes) and Turk (Donald Faison) try to convince Elliot (Sarah Chalke) to let them help her get her old job at Sacred Heart back after they discover that she's been working at a free clinic. All the while, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) taunts J.D. with the made-up game of Jiggly Ball.

Episode 5 - My New GodEnemies become friends and faith is tested -- Cheryl Hines guest stars -- Dr. Cox's (John McGinley) religious sister Paige (guest star Cheryl Hines, "Curb Your Enthusiasm") comes to town for her nephew's baptism and challenges her brother's faith. Meanwhile, Turk (Donald Faison) is finding out just how unsexy baby making can be. It takes a heart to heart with Elliot (Sarah Chalke) for him to realize that Carla (Judy Reyes) finds the whole process to be romantic. Elsewhere, J.D. (Zach Braff) and the Janitor (Neil Flynn) seem to have a budding friendship. Ken Jenkins also stars.

Episode 6 - My Missed PerceptionPicture perfect -- J.D. (Zach Braff) mistakes an elderly woman's satisfaction of leading a good life as her wish to stop treatment for a fatal illness and the patient in turn chooses to work with Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley). Meanwhile, Turk (Donald Faison) and Elliot (Sarah Chalke) struggle to find the cause of a patients unexplained yet excruciating body pain and Carla (Judy Reyes) struggles with the uncooperative Sacred Heart staff when she tries to organize the annual group photo. Ken Jenkins and Neil Flynn also star.

Episode 7 - My Way HomeScrubs celebrates its 100th episode with an homage to The Wizard of Oz: Zach Braff directs - J.D. (Zach Braff) is called in to work on his day off and every time he tries to go home, he is pulled into another drama. Turk (Donald Faison) searches for a heart donor to save a dying patient; Carla (Judy Reyes) is worried that she doesn't have the courage to become a parent. Meanwhile, Eliot (Sarah Chalke) doesn't think she has the brains to lead a question and answer session on a subject she knows little about. All the while the Janitor (Neil Flynn) is trying to make the hospital easier to navigate by painting color-coded lines, including a yellow line, which leads to the exit. John McGinley and Ken Jenkins also star.

Episode 8 - My Big BirdDr. Kelso interrogates the group about the unexplained death of a patient -- Jason Bateman guest stars -- J.D. (Zach Braff), Turk (Donald Faison), Elliot (Sarah Chalke) and Carla (Judy Reyes) are asked to recount the past weeks events during and interrogation surrounding the mysterious death of a patient. But Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) will find it hard to pin point neglect when he learns that J.D. and Turk were away tracking down a patient (guest star Jason Bateman, ""Arrested Development"") to illicit a thank you, Elliot was traumatized over finding out that her make-out buddy was married and Carla was busy recruiting hospital personal for a group lottery purchase. John C. McGinley and Neil Flynn also star.

Episode 9 - My Half-AcreJ.D. is intrigued with a clumsy new love interest -- Mandy Moore guest stars -- J.D. (Zach Braff) is introduced to quirky Julie Quinn (guest star Mandy Moore, ""Entourage"") and love is in the air. Worried that J.D. will once again screw up the budding relationship Elliot (Sarah Chalke) doles out effective romance advice. Meanwhile, Carla (Judy Reyes) questions Dr.Cox's (John C. McGinley) tough exterior and is convinced that the sarcastic doctor is really a softy. Elsewhere, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) puts together an air band to win a contest. Donald Faison and Ken Jenkins also star.

Episode 10 - Her Story IILove is no laughing matter -- Mandy Moore guest stars -- J.D. (Zach Braff) becomes annoyed that new girlfriend, Julie (Mandy Moore), doesn't laugh, but rather tells him when things are funny. Afraid that he is going to screw up yet another relationship, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) encourages J.D. to start saying his feelings out loud and Turk (Donald Faison) tries to use his psychology background to fix the issue. Meanwhile, Carla (Judy Reyes) is upset when the Janitor (Neil Flynn) refers to the new nurse as a 'hot young Carla,' increasing her growing concern that she is too old to conceive. John C. McGinley and Ken Jenkins also star.

Episode 11 - My Buddy's BootyElliot gives J.D.'s intern an extra assignment -- J.D. (Zach Braff) is still dealing with his recent break-up and trying not to kill intern Keith (Travis Schuldt), who has become annoyingly perfect. To make matters worse a favorite patient is in a serious coma and each of the staff finds their own way to deal with it. Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) and the Janitor (Neil Flynn) bond over drinks at the bar and Carla (Judy Reyes) makes it her mission to make the hospital's gym female friendly. Meanwhile Turk (Donald Faison) suggests that J.D. and Elliot (Sarah Chalke) find themselves 'booty calls.' Ken Jenkins also stars.

Episode 12 - My CabbageA bird in hand -- Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) is outraged when he discovers that a bird has been living in Sacred Heart. Citing the spread of infection to be the number one cause of deaths in hospitals, Kelso, orders the Janitor (Neil Flynn) to dispose of it immediately. However, the Janitor likes the bird so much he secretly keeps it as a pet. J.D. (Zach Braff), annoyed that Elliot (Sarah Chalke) is hooking up with Keith (Travis Schuldt), tries to get his intern fired. Donald Faison, Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley also star.

Episode 13 - My Five StagesDeath is a hard pill to swallow -- J.D. (Zach Braff) and Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) grow close as they go through the five stages of grief with their favorite patient who is declining in health. Meanwhile, Carla (Judy Reyes) forces Turk (Donald Faison) to go on a string of double dates, one of which includes Eliot (Sarah Chalke) and her booty call Keith (guest star Travis Schuldt). And when Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) runs Ted (guest star Sam Lloyd) down with his car, Ted finally gains power over Kelso with a potential lawsuit. Neil Flynn also stars.

Episode 14 - My Own Personal HellPlaying Favorites - J.D. (Zach Braff) is sick of how perfect intern Keith (Travis Schuldt) is and he's not the only one. As hospital gossip spreads and Elliot's (Sarah Chalke) relationship with Keith is revealed, the other interns think he is getting special attention. Meanwhile, seeking some special attention of his own, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) boasts about being named ""The Best Doctor in the City"" by a local magazine, but Dr. Kelso deflates his ego and assigns him to the most difficult patient in the hospital. Elsewhere, Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) continue to struggle in their quest for conception. Neil Flynn also stars.

Episode 15 - My Extra MileJ.D. urges his fellow doctors to go the extra mile for their patients - When Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) scoffs at reading lines with a patient preparing for a play, J.D. (Zach Braff) urges Cox and his fellow doctors to do special, unconventional things for their patients, but when J.D. scores a date with a hot babe who loves his hair, he’s not sure he can shave his head for a woman undergoing chemo. Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) attempt to eliminate all the stress in their lives to better their chances of conceiving, but Turk has to compete for a surgical resident spot and Carla loses Dr. Kelso’s (Ken Jenkins) VIP patient. Meanwhile, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) showers new boyfriend Keith (Travis Schuldt) with stupid gifts. Neil Flynn also stars.

Episode 16 - My Bright IdeaTurk finds out Carla is pregnant before she does--Turk (Donald Faison) accidentally learns that Carla (Judy Reyes) is pregnant before she does, so J.D. (Zach Braff) convinces Turk to tell the entire hospital staff so they can all surprise Carla with the joyous news. But when Carla confides to Turk that she can't wait for the day when she can personally share her baby news with the world, Turk and J.D. have to quickly figure out how to contain hospital gossip until Carla can make the discovery on her own. Meanwhile, J.D. tricks the Janitor (Neil Flynn) into swallowing a tiny GPS tacking device. Later, when Elliott (Sarah Chalke) puts Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) into an embarrassing situation, he decides to get even with Elliott through Keith (Travis Schuldt) and Carla.

Episode 17 - My Chopped LiverJ.D. (Zach Braff) changes his night off so he can hang out more with Turk (Donald Faison), but Turk is sad to lose his own personal "Turk Night." Meanwhile, Jordan (Christa Miller) forces Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) go on a double date with Elliott (Sarah Chalke) and Keith (Travis Schuldt). Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) asks Carla (Judy Reyes) to cover for him and turn down staff requests while he deals with the death of his dog. Later, when a patient almost dies after giving his brother part of his liver, the gang learns that sometimes they have to do things they might not like for the people they care about. Neil Flynn also stars.

Episode 18 - My New SuitJ.D.'s brother Dan return for a surprise visit--Thomas Cavanagh ("Ed") guest stars--When J.D.'s (Zach Braff) underachieving brother Dan (Thomas Cavanagh) returns for a surprise visit, Elliott (Sarah Chalke) learns that J.D. has been telling Dan that she's still into him, but when the truth comes out, Dan turns to the Janitor (Neil Flynn) to get back at J.D. As everyone reacts to the pregnancy in different ways, Carla (Judy Reyes) and Turk (Donald Faison) begin to discuss baby names, and despite his promise to Carla, Turk is unable to keep quiet about their initial choices. After assigning someone else to assist "sweaty Teddy" (Sam Lloyd) with incoming malpractice claim paperwork, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) is caught off guard when Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) steps in to stick him with the job. Meanwhile, a patient with weight-related problems needs an MRI, but the staff has to come up with a solution when they find he's too big for the machine.

Episode 19 - His Story IIIThe Janitor sabotages J.D.'s video diary for his Mom - Markie Post "People's Court") guest stars -- After J.D. (Zach Braff) helps Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) turn his old bedroom into a nursery for the baby, he gets the idea to strap a digital camera to his head so his mom can see life through his eyes. But the project is cut short when the Janitor (Neil Flynn) seizes an opportunity to shove J.D. out of the picture for a day. Meanwhile, when mistakes by the interns begin to reflect badly on her, Elliott (Sarah Chalke) cracks the whip on her charges and even resorts to using her mother Lilly (Markie Post) to lean on Keith (Travis Schuldt) for information about his peers. Later, Turk accuses Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) of not being hip. Ken Jenkins also stars.

Episode 20 - My LunchJ.D. is determined to have lunch with Dr. Cox - Nicole Sullivan ("Mad TV") guest stars -- While working to stabilize three patients awaiting organ transplants, J.D. (Zach Braff) resolves to ask Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) to lunch until he agrees. When he finally chases Dr. Cox to lunch, J.D. runs into annoying former patient Jill Tracy (Nicole Sullivan), who unexpectedly teaches him something about responsibility. Later, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) and Carla (Judy Reyes) discover that Todd's been lying about all his hospital "conquests" and suspect that he's been less than truthful about other issues, but Turk warns them not to meddle. Neil Flynn and Ken Jenkins also guest star.

Episode 21 - My Fallen IdolThe Staff Rallies Around a Despondent Dr. Cox -- After a decision results in the death of three of his patients, a despondent Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) shirks his duties and turns to drinking. Shocked, the staff does their best to cover for him at the hospital while each takes a turn trying to convince him how inspiring he is. Meanwhile, Turk (Donald Faison) is excited to start his new rotation with orthopedic surgery, but is put off by his attending doctor’s touchy-feely methods. So, J.D. (Zach Braff) and the Janitor (Neil Flynn) attempt to help Tuck find ways to bond with his new supervisor. Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes and Ken Jenkins also guest star.

Episode 22 - My Deja Vu My Deja VuAs Dr. Cox returns to work, J.D. reflects on the last five years -- After five years working at Sacred Heart, J.D. (Zach Braff) can't help but feel that the same things seem to happen over and over again at the hospital. Meanwhile, following his drunken breakdown in the wake of three accidental deaths, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) returns to work, but Elliot (Sarah Chalke) believes that Cox has lost his usual steely confidence when he hesitates to order immediate treatment for a patient. When her attempt to help him backfires, Elliott calls Dr. Cox on his behavior. Later, Carla (Judy Reyes) gets fed up with Turk (Donald Faison) flaunting everything he can do that she can't, now that she's pregnant. Neil Flynn and Ken Jenkins also star.

Episode 23 - My UrologistSparks fly when J.D. gets a consult from a specialist -- Elizabeth Banks ("The 40- year- old- virgin") guest stars in part one of a surprising two-part season finale -- J.D. (Zach Braff) challenges a urologist's (guest star Elizabeth Banks, "The 40- Year-Old Virgin") assessment on a consult for a patient who might need a risky surgical procedure, feeling that she's playing it safe professionally and personally, since he also starts to fall for her. Along the same lines, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) considers breaking up with her boyfriend/intern Keith (Travis Schuldt) for being too weak, especially when he's being picked on by Dr. Cox (John C. (Zach Raff) tries to plan a perfect date with Dr. Kim Briggs (guest star Elizabeth Banks, "The 40-Year-Old-Virgin") on their night off, but Elliot (Sarah Chalke) gets in the way. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) and Jordan (Christa Miller) celebrate a milestone in their young son's life. Later, baby fever sweeps the hospital as the staff tries to pick a name for Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla's (Judy Reyes) expected baby, but no one could guess who at Sacred Heart has to sweat out a pregnancy next.
