Episode 1 - Cake Week

Their Baking Show experience kicks off with Cake Week, and sees the bakers take on a fruity signature challenge. Next, Prue sets her first technical – a children’s tea party favourite - and everyone is out to impress the new judge. And for their final challenge comes the trickiest showstopper ever set in the first week in the Baking Show tent. Creating mind blowing illusion cakes will test their baking and design skills to the limit. Paul and Prue want to see what the bakers – and their cakes – are made of…

  

Episode 2 - Biscuit Week

It's week two of The Great British Baking Show and just eleven bakers remain. This week, who will snap in biscuit week, as Paul and Prue set the bakers three new challenges? The sandwich biscuit challenge sees the bakers crumbling as they try to blend biscuit and filling… There’s a technical challenge set by Paul that no one has tried before… And a final showstopper challenge that is literally game changing…

  

Episode 3 - Bread Week

Week three of The Great British Baking Show, and it’s Bread Week. The ten remaining bakers have a lot to prove to Paul Hollywood, and new judge Prue Leith. This week they have been set three tough challenges: A teacake signature, where they must rise to the challenge… A two-tiered technical that’s back to basics… And the most ambitious sculpture showstopper ever set in the history of bread week. Only one can claim star baker… whilst one baker will leave the tent for good.

  

Episode 4 - Caramel Week

It’s week four of The Great British Baking Show and just nine bakers remain. And for the very first time on Baking Show … it’s Caramel week! Prue and Paul have set three sticky challenges to test the remaining bakers. There’s a super sweet signature with a rich teatime favourite… A Double Dutch technical that has the bakers pressed for time. Finally a showstopper so laden with sugar that it’s sure to stick in the memory.

  

Episode 5 - Pudding Week

Week five of The Great British Baking Show… and the eight remaining bakers are taking on puddings… Prue and Paul are looking for perfection with the three challenges they have set the bakers. For the signature challenge, who will come top of the class with a steamed school favourite? Sandi returns to her old Cambridge University stomping ground to discover the history of the college pudding…

  

Episode 6 - Pastry Week

Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood have put together three tough challenges that will really test the remaining seven bakers’ prowess with pastry: A savoury signature, where they must impress with style and substance… A multi layered technical… And Sandi heads abroad to discover how some unusual habits have inspired a classic pastry treat…

  

Episode 7 - Italian Week

Prue and Paul have set three Italian challenges to test the remaining bakers. There’s a Sicilian signature that gets them all hot under the collar… It’s a toss-up as to who will survive the deceptively tricky technical… And finally a fiddly showstopper in the hottest temperatures every recorded in the tent.

  

Episode 8 - Forgotten Bakes

Week eight of The Great British Baking Show - It’s Forgotten Bakes Week, and our five bakers are stepping back in time…. to face the test of baking with unfamiliar recipes. Prue and Paul have set three challenges to test the bakers on three very different bakes. There’s a sweet and savoury signature challenge…Prue sets a boozy technical and, with a place in the Baking Show Semi-final at stake, everyone is out to impress. And for their final challenge the bakers must face an elaborate sponge showstopper that once graced the dining tables of high society…Who will make bakes to remember… and who would rather forget?

  

Episode 9 - Patisserie Week

It’s the semi-final of the Great British Baking Show, and the four remaining bakers are all desperate to claim their place in the final. The remaining bakers know they are just three patisserie challenges away from the biggest day in their baking lives. First comes the signature, and there’s no business like choux business as the bakers must set to work on producing 24 exquisite choux buns…Prue has set a complex technical for her first semi -final that leaves everyone glum…And there’s a meringue sculpture showstopper where the bakers mustn’t crack under pressure. Who has the skill to reach the Baking Show Final… and who will leave the Baking Show tent?

  

Episode 10 - The Final

Twelve bakers started. Now just three remain…but only one can be crowned winner of The Great British Baking Show 2017. This week’s final sees Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith set three challenges that will test every aspect of the bakers skills…In the judges’ last signature challenge, the bakers return to bread, and the tricky task of a batch of loaves…In the technical challenge, Pure has made a simple biscuit bake very tough –there can be no room for nerves, as this requires concentration and completely steady hands…

  

Episode 11 - The Great Christmas Baking Show

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, as Sandi Toksvig, Noel Fielding, Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith gather in the tent for a Traditional Family themed Bake Off, which sees the reunion of two of last years most loved bakers, Val and Selasi. King of the Jungle bread man Paul Jagger (series 6) and Beca Lyne-Pirkis (series 4) will also join the festive fight for the Christmas Star Baker title. With none of the returning bakers ever winning the coveted Star Baker accolade during their time on Bake Off, the competition is on for one of them to finally clinch the Christmas crown. The challenges have a comforting theme of Christmas nostalgia, featuring a swirly sponge signature, a deceptively simple technical and one of the trickiest showstoppers to ever feature on Bake Off. Noel, Sandi, Prue and Paul join friends and family in the snowy wonderland, to announce the winner of The Great Christmas Bake Off. As the snow falls, Roy Wood from 70’s Rock group Wizzard, kicks off the celebrations with a rocking rendition of ‘I wish it could be Christmas every day’. The performance concludes with Noel on stage singing the crowd out to Christmas.

  

Episode 12 - The Great Festive Baking Show

This Winter Wonderland themed Great Festive Bake Off begins with Noel, Sandi, Prue and Paul musing over their wishes for the New Year. A dream like sequence transports the foursome into a remake of the Christmas classic, Stay Another Day by East 17. Benjamina and Rav from 2016, will bake alongside Rob Billington (Series 2) and Sandy Doherty (Series 6) in the hope of impressing with their skills and creativity in wintery themed challenges, featuring a Snowy Signature, a Scandinavian technical and an ice-cold showstopper. After announcing the winner of The Great Festive Bake Off, the real life Tony Mortimer tinkles the ivories whilst Noel, Sandi, Prue, Paul and the bakers gather around to sing Stay Another Day.
