Episode 2 - It’ll Take More than Pot LuckA diverse group of chefs enter the Top Chef kitchen in Denver and are immediately put to work, tasked with making a pot luck dish to introduce themselves to the judges and their fellow competitors. Then the cheftestants prepare their modern take on a meat and potatoes dish for a blow-out block party in Larimer Square with 200 diners and Denver’s biggest culinary names, including Hosea Rosenberg, Troy Guard, Frank Bonanno and Gregory Gourdet. The chefs learn the importance of the phrase 'first impressions are everything.’

Episode 4 - Smile and Say MiseIn one of Top Chef’s signature Quickfires, the chefs battle against each other in a fierce Mise En Place relay. Then, acclaimed local Chef Alex Seidel invites the group to his farm to learn about his take on farm-to-table cuisine. There, they are tasked with creating a progressive meal incorporating a mystery ingredient from the farm into each dish. In this first team challenge, the sparks fly as the chefs get to know each other.

Episode 6 - Keep on Truckin’In a Sudden Death Quickfire based on the iconic Denver omelet, the intensity in the kitchen is egg-ceptional as one chef completely cracks under the pressure in one of the most gut wrenching eliminations in Top Chef history as judged by Padma, Tom and Chef Lachlan Patterson. Then, the cheftestants tap into their college palates as they make dishes in food trucks for students in Boulder. Internet sensation, Logan Paul helps wrangle the diners and Chef Hosea Rosenberg joins the judges for indulgent, hangover inspired food.

Episode 8 - Little Tools, Big ChallengeThe chefs channel their inner child to make upscale versions of kid menu classics for Curtis Stone, Padma, and kids of local culinarians. But there’s a catch, they can only use child-sized cookware, utensils and mixers creating more than pint-sized problems. Then, after a visit to a food incubator assisting immigrant women, the chefs must dig deep into their roots to present dishes based on their own heritage for Immigrant food influencers, including Alon Shaya, Nilou Motamed and Mourad Lahlou.

Episode 11 - This is not GlampingIn a competition first, Tom surprises the chefs with a twist that changes the game. After the shock wears off, the chefs are sent camping to make a 5-star meal outdoors, only to learn an unexpected storm welcomes them with a fresh blanket of snow forcing them to pull out every trick in their playbooks. With only a few heat sources and limited local ingredients, the chefs must get resourceful if they want to remain in the running. Chef Naomi Pomeroy joins the judges in the beautiful but chilly Colorado Mountains.

Episode 12 - Now That’s a lot of SchnitzelFor the Quickfire, Padma and Richard Blais inspire the chefs using Tasty online videos and challenge them to transform the most laborious dishes from their own menus into accessible thirty minute dishes for home cooks. Then, celebrated German chef, Keegan Gerhard, exposes the chefs to authentic Germanic food and tasks them with creating a delicious and unique Top Chef Beer Garden by putting their own spin on the cuisine and pairing a German-inspired dish with a radler. Who will be saying auf wiedersehen?

Episode 14 - Olympic DreamsOn the eve of the Quickfire, one of the chefs has a very special delivery. Padma and Season 14 Winner Brooke Williamson surprise the chefs at their house with breakfast ingredients and task them to create a delicious breakfast dish featuring Nutella. Then, Olympians Meryl Davis, Gus Kenworthy and John Daly inspire the chefs to focus on precision, speed and creativity in the first-ever Top Chef Olympics where the chefs will face off in three head-to-head heats. Who will win the gold and which bronze medalist will be sent packing?

Episode 16 - Restaurant WarsIn the most anticipated challenge of the season, the chefs face-off in Restaurant Wars, creating and executing two new restaurant concepts from design to dishes in a matter of days. Culinary icons Bruce and Eric Bromberg of Blue Ribbon join the judges to experience and evaluate each restaurant’s successes and failures. Nothing is ever as heated as a kitchen under this kind of pressure. Which chef will crumble under the weight of the challenge?

Episode 18 - Bronco BrouhahaCooking for Michelin-starred Chef David Kinch adds pressure to an already stressful Sudden Death Quickfire based on edible flowers and the chefs are crushed as one of their own is sent packing. Then, the chefs are challenged to put an elevated slant on pre-game food as they host the ultimate tailgate party at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for the Denver Broncos. Mayor Michael Hancock and BBQ Pitmaster Adam Perry Lang will guest judge. Who will throw a game winning touchdown and which chef will make a fourth-quarter fumble?

Episode 20 - Red Rum and Then SomeWith their Quickfire set at the iconic Stanley Hotel, the inspiration site for Stephen King’s “The Shining,” the chefs must put their scariest nightmares on a plate … in dessert form! Then, with their time in Denver coming to a close, the chefs offer a dish representing their own Colorado journeys thus far to Governor John Hickenlooper at the Governor’s mansion. One chef will be sent packing before the rest of the group heads to Telluride. Other guests critiquing the journey dinner include some of the most acclaimed chefs in Denver: Frank Bonanno, Steve Redzikowski and Tommy Lee.

Episode 23 - Cooking HighIn breathtaking Telluride, the Chefs embark on the first leg of the finals. As they walk down the quaint Main Street they are quickly reunited with the winner of Last Chance Kitchen, and the new group of five face Padma, Tom, and Chef Wylie Dufresne. For the Quickfire challenge, they are tasked to make a dish incorporating the old saloon slinging medicinal beverage, sarsaparilla. Then the chefs cook at Alpino Vino, a fine dining restaurant at the highest elevation in North America, where they prepare a dish that must include a baking element. And no chef knows the difficulty of cooking in high altitude locations like Michelin-star recipient Chef Paul Liebrandt who has cooked in the Swiss Alps. It’s a tall order to impress judges of this caliber at just under 12,000 feet up.

Episode 24 - Sunday SupperThe Voltaggio Brothers reunite on Top Chef for the first time since competing against each other. Their first task is judging the Rocky Mountain Oyster Quickfire to see which chef has the balls to go all the way. Then, they reunite the chefs with surprise visitors from home in an emotionally charged Elimination Challenge where one chef will pack their knives before the next leg of the finals in beautiful Aspen.

Episode 25 - A Little Place Called AspenIn the final Quickfire of the season, the Chefs get a crash course in one of Colorado’s great pastimes, fly fishing, when they not only have to prepare the catch of the day, but they have to actually catch it too. Chef Chris Cosentino serves as guest judge. Then, the only thing standing between the chefs and the Grand Finale is 200 plates, for the country’s most notable chefs and food connoisseurs attending the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen. Serving only a vegetarian dish, they have to win over the likes of: Brooke Williamson, Danny Meyer, Bryan Voltaggio, Michael Voltaggio, Ludo Lefebvre, Scott Conant, Tim Love and guest judge Daniel Boulud and more.

Episode 26 - FinaleIn an epic showdown in Aspen, the final two chefs cook the meal of their lives in an effort to take home the ultimate title and prize. To win it all, they’ll need to impress not only the judges but also culinary superstars Nancy Silverton, Jonathan Waxman and Curtis Duffy. It’s a fight to the bitter end, but only one will be crowned Top Chef.
