Episode 1 - Across Canada, We Go!"Top Chef" heads to Canada with 15 new chefs. Upon arrival, the chefs draw knives, splitting them into groups of three and head to the "Top Chef" kitchen where they are greeted by Kristen, Tom and Gail, and their first Quickfire Challenge. The chefs pick an ingredient from the pantry and are tasked with preparing a dish while also incorporating the judges' surprise ingredients. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs go head-to-head preparing dishes that highlight Canada's five diverse regions. The judges are joined by "Top Chef" alums Dale MacKay and Nicole Gomes. |
Episode 2 - Brunch à la BouludActor Sarah Levy joins Kristen and Gail for the Quickfire Challenge, tasking the chefs to put their spin on Canada's famous poutine. For the Elimination Challenge, Daniel Boulud joins the judges' table as the chefs team up to create a maple-soaked brunch that pays homage to Sugar Shack traditions. |
Episode 3 - Best Served ColdIn this week's Quickfire Challenge, the chefs must make their own version of a Jamaican patty. Canadian hockey star Natalie Spooner assists Kristen in presenting the Elimination Challenge, where the chefs are put on thin ice and must create dishes best served cold. The chefs need to keep their cool to impress the judges and guest judges Food & Wine's Editor in Chief Hunter Lewis and renowned Canadian chef Lynn Crawford. |

Episode 5 - Line Cook for a DayThere is no Quickfire Challenge as the chefs are taken by surprise when a "Last Chance Kitchen" chef joins the competition. After breaking into pairs and spending time at a local restaurant, the chefs are informed that for this Elimination Challenge, they must create a dish inspired by their time on the line. The chefs' collaboration skills are put to the ultimate test as this week is a double elimination. "Top Chef" alum Sara Bradley joins Kristen, Tom and Gail at the judges' table. |
Episode 6 - Pickle Me This"Top Chef Masters" alum Susur Lee and his son Jet Bent-Let join Kristen for the Quickfire Challenge, where the chefs must create a dish using a limited amount of ingredients. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs must create dishes that highlight pickles. The judges are joined by season 21 winner Danny Garcia and Clare Reichenbach, the James Beard Foundation's Executive Officer. |
Episode 7 - You Wanna Pizza Me?For this week's Quickfire Challenge, the chefs must create a dish with an ingredient using only the toughest stains as their clues. Then, in a high-stakes pizza party, the chefs must create pies that are outside of the box to impress guest judges Michelin star chef Wylie Dufresne and "Top Chef All-Star" alumn Spike Mendelsohn, who join Kristen, Tom and Gail at the judges' table. |
Episode 8 - Restaurant WarsThere is no Quickfire as the chefs take on the famed Restaurant Wars elimination challenge. Divided into two teams, the chefs are tasked to conceptualize and create two restaurants, each featuring a three-course progress menu with at least two options for each course for 100 hungry diners. Kristen, Tom and Gail are joined by "Top Chef" alum Nina Compton and "Top Chef Canada" judge Janet Zuccarini. |
Episode 9 - Cooking On the EdgeKristen is joined by Tom, Gail and chef and professor Ilona Daniel for this week's Quickfire Challenge as the chefs are tasked with flexing their culinary "mussels." Before the chefs enter the kitchen, they climb to new heights, facing their fears in this stunt-driven Elimination Challenge. Canadian chefs Patrick Kriss, Binit Pandey, Martine Bauer, action star Greg Tarzan Davis and two-time "Top Chef" winner Buddha Lo join the judges' table. |
Episode 10 - From Dep Till DawnComedian Punkie Johnson tests the chefs' creativity for the Quickfire Challenge when they're asked to create a dish using only the items and tools found in a Canadian convenience store. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs pay homage to the four seasons using only produce from Montreal's rooftop gardens. Renowned Montreal chef Antonio Park joins Kristen, Tom and Gail at the judges' table. |
Episode 11 - Calgary, Yahoo!The six remaining chefs set off to Calgary where they are greeted by the judges and "Top Chef Canada" alum Connie DeSousa. For this week's Quickfire Challenge, they will be making pancakes for 50 diners. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs are tasked with creating dishes that feature beef and local berries, hoping to impress a table of Calgary's culinary tastemakers, including guest judges Denia Baltzer and Paul Rogalski. |
Episode 12 - Foraged in FireFor their last challenge in Canada, Kristen is joined by guest judges Brenda Holder and Tracy Little, who teach the remaining five chefs how to forage the ingredients in the Canmore Forest. To secure their spot in Italy, the chefs will have to impress the judges by utilizing their foraged items in a dish they will cook outside over an open flame. |
Episode 13 - Viva Milano!Benvenuto a Milano! For the chefs' last Quickfire Challenge of the season, they're tasked with creating a classic Milanese dish and the most feared dish by many "Top Chef" contenders, risotto. Then the chefs compete in a three-part, head-to-head culinary battle while receiving some help from Olympic athletes Elana Meyers Taylor, Red Gerard, and Paralympic athletes Oksana Masters and Declan Farmer. Kristen, Tom and Gail are joined at judges' table by two-star Michelin chef Andrea Aprea and "Top Chef" World All-Star alum Ali Ghzawi. With four chefs remaining and only three spots in the finale, the stakes have never been higher. |
Episode 14 - FinitoFor their last challenge of the season, the final three chefs must create the best progressive four-course meal of their lives. With the help of their sous chefs, the finalists must pull out all the stops to impress an esteemed table of diners, including chef Carlo Cracco, "Top Chef" alums Richard Blais and Gregory Gourdet, and Hunter Lewis, Editor-In-Chief of Food & Wine magazine. At the judges' table, Kristen, Tom and Gail are joined by and award-winning chef Clare Smyth to determine who will be named the next "Top Chef" and take home the largest prize package in show history. |
