Season 6 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - The Old Soft, Curved Padlock.

Taskmaster is back, and this time it's series six. The five new comic competitors to face Greg Davies's wrath are: Alice Levine, Asim Chaudhry, Liza Tarbuck, Russell Howard and Tim Vine. Today, they perform wheelbarrow stunts, build with fruit and emerge from wardrobes as they compete for the ultimate prize: Greg's disembodied head dipped in gold. As usual, Alex Horne is on hand to assist with quiet dignity.

Episode 2 - Tarpeters.

More rough justice is meted out by Taskmaster Greg Davies as five comics fight for his love by trying to complete assorted tricky tasks. Under the watchful eye of Greg's loyal lapdog Alex Horne, Liza Tarbuck demonstrates her hatred of small toy men, Asim Chaudhry invents a new kind of rain hat and Alice Levine tries to work out the rules of darts.

Episode 3 - One Warm Prawn.

The five comedians take a nostalgic trip to childhood as they are compelled to taste-test some mystery baby food, among other odd tasks. As usual, they are judged harshly by Taskmaster Greg Davies, who is aided by resident stats geek, Alex Horne. Plus, Russell Howard presents a nightmarish fairy tale and Liza Tarbuck introduces a plastic lizard to a cordless drill.

Episode 4 - BMXing!

Five comics continue to fight it out for the right to have Taskmaster Greg Davies's golden skull proudly displayed on their mantelpiece. Tim Vine strips to his waist, Russell Howard gets some new tattoos and Alice Levine apes Leonardo da Vinci using squirty cream. Alex Horne provides crucial stats and analysis that Greg may or may not pay attention to.

Episode 5 - H.

As the series nears the halfway point, the five comic contestants grow ever more eager to lay their hands on the coveted Taskmaster trophy. Asim Chaudhry has fun with drain pipes, Tim Vine gets stuck in a tunnel and, dissatisfied with his charge's performance, Greg Davies gives Alex Horne a sharp telling off in front of everyone.

Episode 6 - We Met at Mealtimes.

Halfway through the series and it's Liza Tarbuck who holds the overall lead in the race to win Taskmaster Greg Davies's beautifully sculpted golden bonce. This week it's snowy globes, rubbery ducks and wooden-y spoons as all five competitors attempt to impress Greg with their creativity and ingenuity. Alex Horne provides crucial data analytics.

Episode 7 - Roadkill Doused in Syrup.

Greg Davies is the Taskmaster, Alex Horne is his private secretary and together they enjoy putting five comics through a series of rigorous tests and pointless challenges. Tim Vine encounters a wet bra, Alice Levine barely attempts cricket and Russell Howard makes a convincing liger.

Episode 8 - What Kind of Pictures?

Alex Horne, subservient servant to glorious Taskmaster Greg Davies, gets a treat as he's allowed to crack open five unusual chocolate eggs. Meanwhile, Russell Howard uses ear wax to charm a nice lady called Carol, Asim Chaudhry goes digging for invertebrates and Liza Tarbuck makes a puzzle for children... that should not be seen by children.

Episode 9 - The Bubble Brothers.

It's the penultimate episode of the series and Liza Tarbuck still leads the pack of five comics all vying to win Taskmaster Greg Davies's delectable golden head trophy. Alex Horne provides the crucial stats as Alice Levine gaffers nails to her nose, Russell Howard wraps a tie round his head and Tim Vine is left bereft by a small piece of bent metal.

Episode 10 - He Was a Different Man.

It's the final show of the series and all five contestants not called Alice Levine or Asim Chaudhry still have genuine hopes of winning the greatest prize on earth: the shiny golden bonce of Taskmaster Greg Davies. Russell Howard invents sticky tape architecture, Tim Vine attempts a risky impersonation and Liza Tarbuck gifts Greg's Exec Sec Alex Horne a big, messy cake.
